- PlayStation VR will be coming to PS5. They are slightly updating the current model of PSVR Headset for the PS5. It will still be wired but the resolution, weight and size have been updated.
- They will also be releasing “PSVR PRO” Headset which is much more expensive compared to the standard variant. It is wireless and the screen resolution and refresh rate are comparable to top PC VR Headsets.
- Sony’s “SIE London Studio” is working on a Free Social VR game similar to that of “VR Chat”.
- You will be able to replace your model with characters from Sony first party games and some 3rd party ones. Characters seen were a low poly version of Leon S. Kennedy, Cloud FF7 (remake version), Nathan Drake and Cole from Infamous.
- It will be released at the end of 2020 and available on PS4 and PS5 with crossplay.
- Sony is planning to release “Super Slim” PlayStation 4 sometime in between September and November of this year, its retail price is going to be $199.99.
- The built-in processor of the super slim is manufactured with the 7-nm process (compared to 16nm of Slim). The processor’s die size is mentioned to be 110mm²
