Here at Kings Bay we have rules to maintain order and keep the game enjoyable for everyone, as this game is about roleplaying. You are to follow every rule listed on this thread.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- [i]If you have been banned, you need to wait a month to post an appeal. This does not apply to deathmatching, as appealing for that would be six months.

Anyone that gets unbanned via appeal is placed on a watch list for a while. If you get banned again, you will be re-banned for a longer time.

These rules are subject to change at any given time, so check back once in a while to see if the rules have been updated.

Roleplay at all times. Lacking common courtesy can get you in serious trouble depending on what you've done that has violated the rule.

Examples of violating the rule;

-John Doe gets mad at Jane Doe for robbing him in game. He constantly harasses Doe on Discord and in the game.

-Derek Peters leaves the game to avoid being arrested.

- Paul Johnson goes around smacking people and constantly goes in /b and harasses people in /b.

Examples

Telling someone via voice call or text on a VOIP program, like Discord or Skype or Teamspeak to come and pick you up from the hospital.

Powergaming is basically when someone does a roleplay act that is unrealistic, or forcing roleplay on someone else without giving them a chance to react.

John Jorge is being held at gun point. He does /me slaps the gun out of Marcuses hand and headbutts Marcus making him die.

Murdering another person without a good roleplay reason is not allowed. Terrorism is completely banned to players, unless a staff member grants permission to members who request permission providing emphasis on why they want to commit an act of terrorism.


You cant go after someone after they kill you, as thats unrealistic. That's called revenge killing. You cant do that in real life. Once your dead, your dead. You can begin roleplaying with that player thirty minutes after your death, and can only attack if the player that killed you prior to you coming back after 30 minutes attacks you first.

Mikey Wright runs over Marcus because Marcus insulted him. Mikey Wright then jumps out of the car literally, letting the car hit a group of people, killing them.

Physical sexual harassment (any type of inappropriate touching)

If prior OOC permission is given by all parties involved, the roleplay has to happen in a secluded environment and a realistic place, like inside of a house.

Robbing is defined as taking someone's possessions  by using force or threatening the victim.  Robberies and scams must be done strictly In Character.


You can rob a maximum of $3000. You can scam a maximum of $100,000. There is no limit to how many items you rob. (Drugs, guns and any handheld item that can be in your inventory and vehicles are included.) You are not allowed to kill a player while or after robbing/scamming them unless they refuse to cooperate or attack you. If you have been robbed or scammed, you are allowed to rob back the things you have lost. You cant knowingly rob or scam the same people within a two hour period, as there is a cooldown.

[/b]What does this rule mean? In Kings Bay, we model realistic weather. During the winter season and fall, you should wear realistic clothing up until Spring. This means, you shouldnt be wearing a simple tee shirt. You should be wearing winter appropriate clothes. A good example would be jackets and jeans, a bad example would be wearing a tee shirt and shorts running around doing nothing. You should also roleplay to the weather, if its freezing IC, then roleplay being cold a little, or if it's very hot, you should roleplay sweating and a bit hot, wearing less layers. Then again, it isnt Alaska but most players should be wearing a jacket during the winter season. [b]No one is to wear faces either. You can roleplay emotions using the /me command.


Punishment: Kick from the game, possibly having to re-apply.[/b][/quote]
