[09:46:14 AM]Rolland B.: I'm sorry to hear that.  Nintendo generally does not allow refunds and does not allow exchanges for content purchased in the eShop.  However, I'll look into it and see what we can do in your situation.  I'll just need a little bit more information from you.  Can you tell me:

- The email address that is registered to your Nintendo account
- The serial number of your Nintendo Switch (it will be on the bottom edge of the screen part of your system, on a white sticker with a barcode, and it will start with "X")

[09:51:09 AM]Rolland B.: Alright, it looks like I'm able to submit this for a refund to my administration team, so I will do that as soon as we're done chatting here.  They will send an email to the address that you've given us as soon as they are done reviewing this.  They will place any refunds in your eShop account.  This process can take up to 4 business days, but is often completed sooner than that.

Since your account is registered in the United States, you won't be able to purchase the Japanese DLC in your eShop as it is.  However, once the refund has processed, if you log into your account at  https://accounts.nintendo.com and change to your region, you should be able to access content from the eShop there.

[09:53:02 AM]Qian-Rui Huang: Although I cannot purchase the Japanese DLC in the eshop, could I get the serial code of the Japanese DLC from AmazonJP and type them in US eshop?
[09:54:32 AM]Rolland B.: Unfortunately, the US eShop won't have access to Japanese content.  So, if you purchase a Japanese DLC code, it won't be recognized in the US eShop.  The only way to get access to the Japanese eShop content is to have your account registered in Japan.
