TacticalTortoise "Best Armies in 40k" Selection Methodology (up. 8.11.24)

Army selections are taken from events with public lists and placings, hosted on: https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/
Typically, to be included events must include at least 20 players, play at least 5 rounds, and use the most recent Warhammer 40k update, codexes, and mission rules.

Results included on the metagame breakdown must typically achieve all wins, or no more than one draw.  Special considerations are given to large events, or events with non-standard placing systems.

Armies that are typically showcased are the highest placing within their faction, placed in the largest events, or display unique list archetypes or inclusions.
