- [00:59] A willing heart was able to make anything happen, but an ambitious soul would have to be able to overcome adversity at a moments desire.
- Sthenno's desire for this was great, the Djinn can tell.
- So who was the being to try to deny them or stop them?
- Within the moment that they accepted the deal, the Djinn's spectral form started to show itself, some flashes of purple and eyes of red, followed by a spectral hand that reaches to that invisible line that connects them to this life. Though it was strained, these special deals would have their own negative effects later.
- A singular cut to the string of what could have been, a measly amount of years that were added to the Djinn.
- A mark that appeared within their right palm, denoting them as a being who made such a deal and can no longer do such a thing.
- "A piece of life, for a moment now. Such is how we do the deed."
- They shift back into their more feminine form. Some of the damages releasing, and a moment of clarity if given to the mind.
- "In due time a card will be given to you, followed by safe passage for you. Who knows, maybe if you're truly lucky, you'll come back stronger than you ever were to begin with!"

- [01:17] Ambition...
- It was all matter of man served, it was crumbled cities, crushed kingdoms and created wars. Through out his life however small amount of time that may be- it was all he could keep to himself. For his life was for the circle and not just the circle but for her.
- Those golden eyes would slowly turn towards the snow haired girl on the bench, Lady Nyarabia's words hung deeply in his head.
- If you want to keep her, you must plunge your hands in more murky waters.
- Every since that day, every single day of his life has been spent spreading blood across Meranthe. Should it be as he is or under another guise he was making sure that he was powerful enough to keep this woman in his grasp.
- Perhaps Seble touched on something the Young Serpent Lord didn't even fathom he had.
- Insecurity.
- Though he would never agree to something as mundane as that, that spectral reaching for one of those strings - he knew exactly what was to happen.
- In order to get what he wanted, to follow his dream to see the ambitons of everyone in the circle sought through. He needed more POWER .
- If he hesitated even for a second, there would be a stop of momentum so great that he would not be able to restore the hearts and minds of this growing circle of six.
- Sacrifice was all he knew this would be small in the grand scheme of things...
- A burning sensation brought his fingers to a twitch, a slow and deliberate motion of his arm would bring the palm of his hand into view. Those emerald eyebrows of his would be brought to a furrow as he gazed at the mark on his hand.
- It gave him Ideas on how to punish others who stood in his way, those scars upon Apas face.... They were a good way to remind someone who crossed the line... but only time will tell if he would commit to someone of the same suffering.
- Fingers clenched as he brought his hand into a fist.
- "It is done, my dreams are set forward and with the power this could grant me... I will focus it into a blade to make sure the circle's dreams are all met, my conquest... Gwyn's Ascension - Scylaris freedom - Ibukis Desires and Cryxase's greed... All of them will be met by my hand."
- A declaration if any and so with a gaze up to a dijin, a rare but subtle smile.
- "Thank you for the opportunity."
- (Sthenno Nyarabia)

- [01:20] Though they could read minds, they would not go deep into their subconscious for this one time.
- Who knows of the demons of their facing?
- Who knows of the struggles that they have with living?
- The only thing that they could do, as a being from the gods, was to ensure that they would fulfil their end of the contract and make these things possible, but they knew better than to try to interfere too much within their goals.
- But this was their life and their time that they were wasting.
- Life and death was within them, and while they have more time ahead than they did behind, it was cut to a point of no return, but who knows if that would last.
- All that they would be able to do in this exchange was to find themselves.
- To accept themselves.
- To live.
- But until that day is capable of being met, and the Gorgon was able to overcome their insecurity, their sorrows, their desperation, they will lie in the messy bed that they made and stew in it until the day they rise comes.
- Deep down, the Djinn wanted them to do that.
- "Take a friend or two," they declared. "Is there anyone else that wishes for this?"

- [01:38] Scylaris would stand silent for a moment. Gaze unwavering as she process the Djinn's words to the serpent. There was weight in them-an understanding that stretched far beyond the basic perceptions of mortals. An expectation of growth forged through suffering. The implications were clear...
- This was not a simple exchange. It was an ordeal, a test, a sacrifice.
- And yet Scylaris had stood firm, her expression unreadable, yet the weight of her intent was undeniable. The Djinn's words lingered within the air, heavy with the expectations of the quiet inevitability of sacrifice. Deep down, she knew. These transactions would cut deep. And would likely leave a permanent mark upon her.
- "Djinn. I ask of something different. A relic of a weapon of my peoples, or likely a material that sings the song of tides. Our legacy upon this land relies dearly on subjugation... Control. I wish to be free from these shackles. Free from myweakness against adversity. Free from the shame of my leader having to clean up my messes."
- She had made her choice long after Sthenno spoke his words. She desired to be free. But without being forgotten. To reclaim even a fragment of what once was... Even at the cost of her own life.. It asked for resolve that was beyond personal comfort.
- Her gaze met the Djinn's unwavering.
- "What will you take from me to make this wish come true?"
- The question was not asked lightly. She knew nothing was simply given by beings without cost. Without sacrifice. And yet, she was willing to give. Willing to destroy whatever potential boon so as to not remain in the mists of her own failures.
- (Scylaris)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:43] Sthenno Nyarabia grabs gwyns hand.
- (Sthenno Nyarabia)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:50] "A relic of a weapon?" Their head tilted at the thought of it.
- "A song for the tides, something that would be able to help you control a portion of it. I think that is something that I can do, but it depends..."
- Of course, the Djinn wouldn't try to be dishonest with them.
- "On one hand, temporary control is grand. It is entirely possible for you to do whatever you want with it. However, you should consider how powerful you want it to be, and how much you are willing to give."
- "For a potent song to control the tides, it can be done for thirty years of your life and a strong mark. But to control a small wave can be done with ten..."
- "What is it?"
- (Vephar Svapanor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:05] Scylaris had listened intentionally and carefully, the weight of the Djinns words had weighed against her like the depths of the sea. A relic of a weapon, or a material that sings the song of the tides. Something that could help her master the deadly mists, and a stern reminder of what was once lost.
- The thought had stirred deep within her mind. That sense of longing...Not just for strength, but for the resonance of her ancestors, the voices that once guided the water's with effortless grace.
- Her fingers tightened at her sides, webbed digits flexing as she considered the cost. Thirty years. Three whole decades of her life... Carved away within a instant.. Steep was an understatement for the price that she had to pay.
- Her pride eroding under depths of the calculated presence of undeath, watching her friends that she knew near her suffer for their transgressions.
- If this sacrifice would let her wield the ocean as her kin once did, to reclaim a power that would help her master her abilities? then she would make the sacrifice without hesitation.
- Her decision was made.
- "I will give thirty years of my life." Scylaris spoke firmly, and with intent. "Not for a mere ripple, not for a tug of the tide, but for true control over the tide. My people didn't merely whisper towards the waves, they called out, and the sea answered. That is the strength that I seek Djinn."
- Her gaze was sharp and unyielding. Bore into Djinn's very own gaze. "And this mark? A scar on my body? A curse upon my soul? I do not mind the cost. But I deserve to know what shape my burden will take. So that I will bear it knowing what I traded away."
- She didn't fear the cost. Only feared a life of powerlessness.
- (Scylaris)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:08] Scylaris says, "Ent."
- [02:08] Scylaris says, "I know you bought that water beast core."
- [02:08] Scylaris says, "I say we trade."
- [02:08] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, ...?
- [02:08] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, That was not Pet'Yal.
- [02:08] Scylaris exclaims, "DAMN!"
- [02:09] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, This one is 'broke' as you'd say.
- [02:12] Sthenno Nyarabia exclaims, "Behold.. Pet'Yal!"
- [02:12] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, Also. You shall not refer to me as 'Ent'.
- [02:12] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, You shall call me, Pet'Yal.
- [02:12] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, Behold Pet'Yal!
- [02:13] Scylaris asks, "Pet'yal. Any water magic stuff on you?"
- [02:15] Pet'Yal says in telepathy, Nos'.
- [02:24] "Your wish will be great. The cost will be even greater. Thirty years of your life..."
- There were so many things you can do with thirty years.
- You could find love and enjoy age for thirty years.
- You can see the next thirty winters.
- You could explore something and take your time for thirty years--even if it was teamporary, even if it felt as though it was out of the ordainry.
- But instead they wished to have something that was so insignificant in the eyes of the Djinn, and they would not try to stop them from doing so; they knew the risks, they knew everything.
- So...
- "Your wish shall be granted."
- Once again, the Djinn takes on a more spectral form of purple, expanding themselves accordingly and reaching over toward that precious string of life that was so important to Scylaris.
- They would feel a tinge and a bit of removal for just a moment, almost as if their spirit was no longer with them, but the second that a clip came, a shroud of purple clouds would be formed around the right side of their person, causing them pain just for the moment.
- Then the moment was gone.
- Time was a precious thing to some, but it wasn't for everyone. Only the ambitious ones would be able to truly do anything with the limited time that they had.
- And once it was gone from them, it was added to their own. And that would make them feel much more lively, even if it was temporary. The more feminine looks of the Djinn became clear for that moment. It was as if for the first time, they were not so weak.
- It was enthralling, for the gold eyes that started to form from them became clear.
- "I wonder what will come from this, truly. But if you are to change fate, you would need to sacrifice something, no?"
- (Vephar Svapanor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:26] ** Wi Wi Wi has inflicted an injury upon Scylaris. ("Mark of the Djinn", "Having made a deal with the likes of the Djinn of Dreams, purple clouds would be found curling around their forearm and spreading throughout the dextral side of their body. It furls around the wrist and binds itself entirely, denoting that the wish was fulfilled. Deep down you can feel the years were taken from you, but for ambition, it was worth it. You can feel as time was running out, and that you need to move quickly to chase what you desire. How far will you go?
- [Your wish was granted, but you cannot grant this wish again.]
- ", "Permanent", "Severity: MINOR (-5 VIT)") **
- [02:27] {Item} You picked up Bladed Flute of the Southern Tides. Dropped by Wi Wi Wi..
- [02:41] Scylaris remained still, her breath controlled and measured. Even as the raw weight of her sacrifice settled into her bones. Thirty years-gone in a span of a heartbeat. She felt the unnatural pull as the Djinn reached into the thread of her existence, sebering a portion of what would have been naturally hers.
- For a brief, agonizing moment. it was as if she was having an out of body experience. Watching time get ripped from her like damaged ropes.
- The pain was sharp, but fleeting. A tinge of something deeper lingered from within her. A hollowness, a slight discord within the rhythm of her soul. And yet, she remained. This was the price that she had set, and it was now payed in full.
- As the spectral purple mist coiled about her person. Scylaris exhaled. Steadying herself as she dealt with the shifting tide of her own mortality, like a ship wavering a storm. The relic she had wished for was now hers, and with it, echoes of her people's lost power.
- Her eyes, glinting with quiet determination, locked onto the Djinn as their form took on a renewed brilliance.-more solid, more defined. as if taking nourishment from the years taken. Their golden gaze was alive. In a way that had not been before.
- "A sacrifice is inevitable. However, My life will not be wasted on offspring or simple slow death. I do not mourn it Sthenno, Djinn. Fate isn't kind to those that wait Idly for change."
- Her fingers curled, testing for any shift to the flow of magic that coiled around her. The relic-its presence was tangible, a tether to her and the power that she sought after.
- "And now We will shape it into something worth the cost."
- A grin shaped the sirens visage a renewed sense of determination fresh upon the siren.
- (Scylaris)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:41] Vephar gently clapped at the dialogue.
- "So be it. Show me your resolve when you do."
- (Vephar Svapanor)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [02:42] Vephar Svapanor says, "Yes, yes, you are alive."
- [02:42] Parasite says, "Yes i am."
- [02:42] Scylaris says, "We will have to speak with Gwyn.."
- [02:42] Scylaris says, "I will."
- [02:42] Sthenno Nyarabia says, "Yes we will.."
- [02:43] Scylaris says, "Thank you Sthenno..."
- [02:43] Scylaris says, "For everything.... I won't fail you."
