Mikyung is a sunshine. She loves making people happy. Especially the ones she is close to. She always likes to make people laugh with her impressions. But, she hates offending people, inconveniencing them and seeing them sad. She respects and sees the good in everyone. She likes to give advice. Especially when it comes to healthy life and skincare. A lot of trainees asked her for skincare tips. She is very tolerant and hard to anger. She is also very approachable and real with people. She ended up being a well-liked and well known trainee in the company because of how she lighted up everyone's mood.

BACKGROUND:;
Mikyung was born April 22 in Cheonan, South Korea. She and her family lived in Japan for 2 years, where they called her Mimi for short. They also lived in China for 1 year before moving back to Cheonan when Mikyung was age 9. She played many sports, her favorites being tennis and volleyball. She lead a healthy lifestyle from when she was young, staying active and eating right. She has an older brother who is born in 1988. She likes to joke that he stole all the height because he is 183 cm, 23 cm taller than her.
Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was 11. Her brother helped to support her and himself after the incident. They share a very close bond because they are each other's only family. The traumatic incident left her brother stressed. She started to impersonate people and other sounds to help them lighten up a bit, which is when she was first called "bit-na". Mikyung started to make a hobby of writing her feelings in songs to make her feel better so she can keep shining for her brother.
Mikyung was scouted in a mall when her looks caught a staff member's eyes. She was with her friends who noticed someone was following, but they said nothing. She ended up sharing with her friends a rap she had written in her free time. The staff really liked the rap and approached their table to which the group panicked and almost ran away. She told her brother the news and he encouraged her to go audition. She passed and moved into the dorms for training. Her brother promised to visit her because she was very sad to leave him.
Pre debut, Mikyung was often called "bit-na" by other trainees. It made her happy because it reminded her of her brother, who she called at least every other day. She was very sad when he had to do his military service because she felt she had no one to confide in. But she kept telling herself to keep training hard to make him and her parents proud. He is still in military service and has yet to find out that his sister will be making her debut in a girl group.
