  1. I woke up this morning only to see that certain words had been censored. Now, while I understand that this is something that they implemented for the community to have discussions without getting offended, that's something I can only see as backwards. Healthy communities are nice, but not when they discourage the posters from having straightforward arguments. I don't see the necessity of forcing the interactions between them to be constantly danced around just for the sake of making sure that they don't see your argument as a personal attack, since that's an issue which they should have to deal with on their own.
  2.
  3. Now to adress the certain terms which I'm currently aware are censored, Ex.1 seems like the silliest one of all. While I get that it's become somewhat of a forum buzzword for annoying retards who want to change the game according to what they want as opposed to what the intended audience would want, there's still no other more appropriate term for it. Honestly just using the word Ex.1 clears up alot of space in each post, as otherwise they would have to make a description of one at each mention.

  5. Ex.2 and Ex.3 are probably my most favorite words in the english vocabulary, and I have a very strong personal attachment to them. Forming a paragraph without using either of them at least once is something which can only be seen as digital torture, and I don't understand what kind of sadist would take pleasure from knowing this. They're very nice words which can be used to emphasize certain statements, regardless if positive or not. Honestly I haven't seen the word Exx.2 ever be used inappropriately, so censoring such a flexible word strikes me as nothing less than the administrator being biased against functional words.

  7. While I don't know all the details as to why these words were censored, I would still like to request that they're not. This is a feedback section after all, and this is the dumbest thing that could've been implemented into a forum like this. The game is 18+ from what I know (please correct me if I'm wrong as all the gameplay videos I've found which actually listed an age rating put it at 18+). Posters who are 18+ should have some degree of thick skin, and not being able to handle the word Ex.2 makes me doubt that they'd be able to hold a standard argument in the first place.

  9. EDIT:
  10. It's come to my attention that 2 more words are censored, so I'd like to adress them in a proper manner as well to hopefully help the administrator regain some common sense and remove the censorship.

  12. Now I've seen some criticism for Ex.4 being used, due to it being an actual mental illness, so people see it's use as more offensive than the former ones. However, while this is the case to a degree, I simply see that as people being too easily offended. As Ex.1's censorship can display, people will complain regardless of the level of actual offense that they should take from a certain slur, which removes the entire point in censoring them at all since if that's what they want then every possible word that could be used in a negative way should be censored. If you go as far as to do that, I'm fairly sure that you'll end up ruining your entire forum. I've seen enough people with a tough enough skin to handle insults, and really it's not alot to ask for.

  14. Ex.5 is by far, FAR the dumbest word to put on a censorship list. First of all for all the aforementioned reasons, except alot more intensified due to how common of a word is, and secondly because of how ridiculously harmless it is. It's a word that kids of absolutely any age use, and it shouldn't even carry enough weight to make someone get hurt by the useage of it. I don't know what went through the administrators head when he added this, but I can't see this as anything but an incredibly silly choice worthy of a kindergarden. There are so many words that can be used to replace it, that censoring it is relatively pointless to even do it in the first place. I can't imagine how many people who're going to register to make their first post to call someone out on being one, then end up seeing that a word like that is censored. This not only hurts the community, but it also puts the forum administrator in a bad light.

  17. As I am not able to use the terms on this forum, even as an example, I've listed them below in an image file.
