When she rounded the corner, Jordanna and Remy were nowhere to be seen, and Vernestra slid to a stop. Her heart began to thrum and her head began to pound, and it was difficult to breathe. At first she thought it might be the effect of some kind of gas, and she wrestled with the mask that hung from her belt. But halfway through the movement, she stopped, realizing that it was something else entirely.

The hallway was the one from her vision.

Vernestra clutched her lightsaber and walked without thinking. She broke into a run. A mixture of dread and excitement drove her forward, because whatever was waiting for her at the end of the long hallway would be equal parts good and bad.

Luckily Vernestra knew the way. Her visions had been true.
