  1. @Organizer sup yall just wanted to give my feedback on the tournament, pros and cons. Let's start positive.
  2.
  3. The organization of matches was phenomenal. Shoutouts to @FERAL#6214 for the spreadsheet. I dont think a single person gave a darn about the challonge sheet just because of how good the doc was. Kudos. It made information collection pretty easy and efficient for everybody. I'd say the same can be said for the match submission sheet as well, despite the bumps at first as to which rounds meant what.
  4.
  5. The consistent supply of commenters was nice as well. I didn't really watch or listen to many matches but I'm sure it was appreciated that people stepped up for that. Thanks for that @Commentator
  6.
  7. I suppose I should begin my gripes now. Firstly, the races themselves. It took at LEAST 8 minutes before matches started after they were scheduled to begin. Some people waited over a half-hour for a SpeedGaming restream person to set everything up. Far be it from me to impose my ideals onto other people, but I think that using alternatives like SM Events or even personal restreams could have sufficed with proper advertising. It's just unacceptable to request people not only schedule their races, not only to be there at that time and commit 50 minutes or more, but to wait extra time unexpectedly. At the very least organizers started to ask people to change their times in advance. But it was too little, too late imo.
  8.
  9. That's the second problem. None of the people I collected to join knew about this at all. cfb, oats, zoast, behemoth, oats, sweetnumb (sadly he couldn't sign up), twocat. Nobody knew what was going on. Even others were in here trying to rake in other runners. I think posting more about it and doing more than just having it on SG's channel (https://gyazo.com/136065bb9f75ec7147290fad9e6813a4 LOOK HOW MANY THERE ARE DUDE) would have been more conducive.
  10.
  11. Third, Organizer responses. After the little drama session some randoms introduced, I didn't see one message besides a warning. Maybe yall could actually discuss things and sort it out between members or do more than react once things get out of hand. I think you'll avoid a lot more trash in the future.
  12.
  13. Lastly, speaking of that drama, can yall actually be a bit self-aware? Sure feral spoke up in my defense, at nobody's behest but his own, but does that give you free reign to allow (or at the least do nothing about) random people or another organizer practically bullying him into silence and causing his self-removal from SM-related activity for some time? The answer is no, of course. Next time you want to bring up shitty clique discords whining about me, talk to me. Don't take it out on organizers who act professionally, speak the truth, and see the bullshit.
  14.
  15. Thanks for your time. I didn't want to go on about the negatives, but they tended to be quite evident. I did have fun with the tournament too, so you shouldn't take too much to heart but just as food for thought. Thanks yall.
