MPH Rough Draft TAS debrief

Now that the rough draft TAS is out I can talk about various things that I didn't say during the premiere yesterday.

The out of bounds clip in alinos that allowed me to skip the spire fight was found by Dann. There was a different oob clip that was known for a long time, but I was having trouble making a certain section visible with it. I told Dann and he found the boost clip into the floor near where the lava is in like a minute. Based Dann.

The one trip vdo was a surprise of sorts. Dann suggested to me using a portal to accomplish this, but that didn't work. I then came up with the idea of using one of the out of bounds clips I had found earlier. Unfortunately the artifact shield disappears during the escape so I had to do that clip near the window which is ASS.

The main reason I felt disappointed in the room being stuck in the 1st escape state during the double escape is because I just couldn't manage to do the corner clip without killing that one enemy. Made me sad and the rest of the escape became kinda sloppy as a result (nobody could notice though).

I don't know if I explained this very well, but there is a trick with selecting planets where if you press land on one planet, you can move to another planet and land on it in the same amount of time. That was from LuckyStarKid's TAS. That determined the rest of the planet orders for this TAS.

I'd definitely recommend taking some of the Gorea stuff I found and applying it to RTA.
