  10. Tough: passive; Earth ponies take 1 additional hit before becoming helpless as well as 1 extra wound once they become helpless, for a total of 6 hits and 6 wounds without other modifiers. They can also lift, carry and move heavier objects than unicorns or pegasi.
  11. Earth Pony Way: Being born without a horn or wings has taught you how to spend more time and effort in the things you do. You can pick one skill and gain a +1 bonus. This does not include non-skill actions like melee attacks or recovering from helplessness.
  12. Portal: recharge 3 after portal ends, spell; Open up a portal to any visible location for 3 rounds before closing. The portal will push back anyone and anything near it when created. Passing through the portal is a free action. Limit of one portal per character at any time.
  13. Magic Bolt: recharge 2, spell, ranged; Fire a volatile bolt of magic. Roll two dice and use the higher roll for results. If one of the dice is a crit fail, then the spell crit fails regardless of the other roll. (+1 EPW)
  14. Conjure Minion: recharge 1, spell; Conjure up a small minion with 3/3 health and a random boost depending on the roll (Even: +1 to actions. Odd: DC-1 to actions. Crit, gain both effects). Lasts until combat is over.
  15. Enhancement: recharge 1, spell; You focus arcane energy to mark an ally or yourself, increasing their magical potency. They receive a weapon tag of your choice when casting for the next 3 turns, and the tag applies to all their spells instead of their weapon skills.

  17. Combat Talent: Abjure: spell, recharge 3; Reverie creates a bubble of light around either herself or an ally, negating damage dealt to them on that turn. The spell is canceled and the recharge lowered by 1 if the target would take enough damage to go helpless.

  19. Non-Combat Talent: Arcane Architect: Reverie is highly skilled in the magical art of conjuration. This skill allows her to summon any object to suit the situation as per Hat Magic, except being summoned out of thin air. In addition, the DC is raised by 1 for more specific objects as compared to when using Hat Magic; for instance, a generic object such as a bowl is still successful on a DC6, but more complicated objects such as specific keys will only be successful on a 9+ as compared to Hat Magic's 8+.

  30. Appearance: Almost never seen outside of her armor, an elegant silver attire made of metal plating and chainmail, treated and trimmed with gold. Helmet is in the armet style, almost always closed. Has a light purple coat, a long messy black mane and one bluish gray eye. Has disfiguring burn scars all over her body, mainly on her face. Her other eye is blind, and milky white. Cutie mark is an arcane diagram.

  33. Reverie is a well-educated highborn mare from Canterlot, having studied magic extensively over most of her career. Despite not being a unicorn, she proved herself to be a competent enough mage, albeit requiring a catalyst. While studying to train in alchemy, she was the victim of a magical accident which burned her all over with alchemical flame, disfiguring her permanently. It took her years to recover from the accident, and she took to concealing herself to avoid attention. During an expedition into the ruins of an ancient manor, she found a suit of elegant golden armor, and took to wearing it for protection on her travels instead of just robes.
  34. Reverie is a polite and thoughtful mare, if rather introverted. She gets increasingly nervous when in crowds, and is sensitive about her disfigured face. She chooses to hide herself from the world, since most are put off by her appearance. Her passion is magic and the arcane arts, being well versed in most forms of it. Since her accident, she has developed a phobia of fire. She can be perceived as aloof or even hostile to some people, due to her being a mare of few words. However, she is not antisocial, merely demure and laconic. She is more than willing to cooperate and make friends with fellow travelers, and eager to explore the world around her.
