  1. Hi Everyone,
  2.
  3. So I just saw this highly biased article on Hacker News this morning from our friends at Tech Crunch!

  7. Ok cool so a law to block ISPs.... from the so called huge (liberal biased) threat that we call the Republicans (according to this article) from allowing ISPs from coming in there and selling your data. Oh but wait... as I was reading through this article, Tech Crunch nagged me about having an Ad blocker on! LOL!!! So its ok for websites to track and steal my data violate privacy across the web but NOT ok if ISPs do this? Gotcha! Clearly no double standard here! Lets keep in mind that the information that is captured across the web is also being sold. If this law is signed and passed I want to ensure that this law is ALSO extends to all companies who track the WEB as well or as the article describes MUST ask for explicit permission NOT the automatically GRANTED permissions buried in the privacy policy that no body is ever reads or are aware.

  9. I am sure I will get the "which would you rather have comment" from someone. By this I mean.. would we rather have, ISPs selling information or web advertising and tracking who (yes you got it) are still going to sell your information. The answer is neither... its a trick question. AND LITERALLY A JOKE PLAYED ON ALL PEOPLE. We want privacy EVERYWHERE not just because someone is biased in their writings and would rather see one political group exploit privacy and information over another!

  11. The sad reality is that it really does not matter how this information is collected whether it be through ISPs or independent websites who are tracking you. YOUR INFORMATION is still being collected one way or another and in ways you probably never even knew about.
  12.
  13. In closing, there is only one way to move forward and that is when we do so together. Not the left's way... not the right's way but TOGETHER. Let's evolve beyond primitive divide and conquer politics. That's the childish 13 year old games we played in the last century and WILL HAVE NO TIME FOR SUCH games moving forward if we want the ever increasing human population to thrive and survive.
  14.
  15. Cheers!
