- Note
- This version includes the Dolby Vision layer video created with MakeMKV muxed with all others streams demuxed with eac3to.
- Source #1: Arrow UHD Blu-ray - used for video + audio + subs
- Source #2: Tartan GBR/USA Blu-ray - used for alternate audio + subs + named chapters
- Source #3: TWN Blu-ray - used for subs
- Source #4: GER Blu-ray - used for subs
- Source #5: CAN Blu-ray - used for subs
- Source #6: KOR Blu-ray - used for subs + commentary
- Source #7: NOR Blu-ray - used for subs
- For video the Arrow UHD retains more grain detail over the previous GER UHD thanks to the huge jump in bitrate.
- For main audio I found the earlier remixed 7.1 audio track from Tartan to be more engaging with a better surround field and clearer vocals presumably due to some mild normalisation and other filtering which has also boosted the dynamic range.
- I also included the Arrow 5.1 audio which would appear to be the original version with levels very close to reference level (Tartan is generally ~3dB higher).
- Commentary #5 sourced from the Korean BD has dialogue that starts over the unique additional Korean BD distributor credits so it has the first 25 secs cut off in this mux.
- There was no point adding 25 secs of black video padding before the movie just for one critic commentary that doesn't even have English subs.
- Subs from all available sources muxed in and HDR tonemapped if regular BD source to match the Arrow UHD levels.
- Included both the Arrow and Tartan English translation of Korean audio since they have different translations in parts (Arrow seems more refined so made that version default).
- Due to a missing frame at the 33min mark on the GER/KOR/TWN releases an extra delay was applied to the subs on those sources so they are correctly in sync after that point.
- Audio commentary tracks from the KOR BD also had correct delay applied at that point.
- Chapters taken from the Tartan Blu-ray/DVD release with spelling corrected and times adjusted to Arrow scene change frames.
