- Some relevant information on Team 10. None of this is "exposing" or damning but a lot of it has been neglected by Shane's recent interviews. I found the whole thing quite strange so I decided to do some digging.

- - Team 10, Inc.
- - Outside of the Box Entertainment, Inc. (founded by Greg Davis, Jr., another Vine star turned actor) - SOS SUSPENDED (improperly filed)
- - Champion Consulting Services, Inc. - FTB SUSPENDED (company didn't file its taxes or didn't pay its business license)
- In 2017, Team 10, Inc. renewed with the state of California with a new agency, eResidentAgent, using a new Representative for SOP Erika Easter (https://eminutes.com/team-members/erika-easter). Their terms can be found here: https://eminutes.com/era-terms.php. They tout themselves as a business registration agency "for creatives". It appears eResidentAgent and eMinutes are the same entity.
- A second business entity has sprung up this year entitled "Team 10 Touring, Inc." which is also created by Jake Paul.
- Entity number: C4154175

- Delaware registration number: 6884748
- Formation date: 5/14/2018 (M/D/Y)
- This appears to be the business entity set up to handle Team 10's debut world tour: https://www.team10official.com/tour/
- The address listed on the second form currently belongs to NKSFB, Inc. (http://www.nksfb.com/about-us/), an accounting and business management firm.
- Not to fuel conspiracies, but it's worth mentioning the firm seems big. Really, really big. They managed Paul Manafort's finances and were called to testify on Manafort's behalf.
- They also manage Drake and Pharrell Williams, among others.
- There's obviously nothing provable about this, but they're *really* good at making IRS audits and tax penalties go away.
- Further proof Jake is with NKSFB: https://www.zoominfo.com/p/Jake-Paul/2330688339
- It's also worth mentioning that any private shares were not declared in these documents.
- In the same year Team 10, Inc. was founded, another company, TeamDom, was also founded, but doesn't appear to be registered with the state of California, which is odd since it has received two rounds of funding - one with an undisclosed amount (venture capital, 4 investors) as well as a second round of seed funding totaling $1 Million USD (3 investors).
- There are four publicly listed employees:
- - Jake Paul (CEO and Founder)
- - Erika Costell (Operations Officer) - 1/2 of "Jerika"
- - Kade Speiser (Director of Content)
- - Erin Dwyer (Project Leader)
- And one listed board advisor:
- - Noah Lichtenstein
- They have two sub-organizations, Team X and TGZ Capital.
- Team X appears to be a defunct company that was to expand social media brand management to China.
- TGZ Capital (which stands for Team Gen Z Capital) is really interesting. They are an investment company formed by Jake Paul, Cameron Dallas (yes, that one), and Patrick Finnegan. They were part of two rounds of funding, each respectively and collectively earning $2 and $3 million USD.
- It's worth mentioning that Nick Crompton was TeamDom's and Team 10's officially listed COO from Sep 2016 to Jul 2018. Prior to that, he was a founding member of a company called Social Chain, a social media influencer marketing agency. "At Social Chain, we don't believe in traditional marketing, we believe in disruptive, internet - breaking influencer marketing." - taken straight from Nick's LinkedIn profile.
- An excerpt from a post from his LinkedIn page (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nick-crompton-5884b774/detail/recent-activity/):
- "Previously Founding Team of Social Chain, then I went on to build TeamDom/TEAM 10.
- A lot of people have been wondering what my next move is and while I can’t talk about everything I’m working on, here’s what I can share! I‘ve now started Gold Lion Media to house all of my new projects and businesses. I'm currently consulting for a few big brands and fulfilling temporary CMO or COO roles to create and implement new strategies. I'm also building a record label and developing three original shows."
- You can see Jake and Patrick discuss TeamDom here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ7Y2mj3s_w. The video is posted on Dec 16, 2016. Erika Costell can be seen in the background.
- They discuss dropping out of school at a young age, which Jake discloses he left high school at 17 and move to LA. Special attention to 3:30 - I think most would agree this is a very different side of Jake Paul.
- The channel this was posted on, Jake Paul Biz (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUzoUpeyYGV1ijrgXJwdjuQ/videos), hasn't posted in over a year.
- I could not find or confirm company registration information for either Team Dom, TGZ Capital or Team X in either California or Delware.
- TeamDom also produces Edfluence (https://www.demeanor.co/program/c6ccc0d1-0bdd-4253-8b8a-36fc653fb9c0?utm_source=edfluence_redirect&utm_medium=web).
- According to Josh Stutterheim, an investor of Team Dom since August of 2018, "Through billions of views, TeamDom, founded by social media magnate Jake Paul, has achieved successful partnership with many of the Top200 Global companies, including Pepsi, Apple and Coca-Cola ."
- ---
- Don't be fooled by "it's not a business". Erika is on payroll, as was Nick and most likely everyone else appearing on the channel.
- Nick probably left because he was done building the company. He was brought on because he was successful with building Social Chain, which is now considered one of Europe's largest social media marketing agencies. He left because he successfully incubated Team 10 and probably helped a lot with TeamDom. He's now working on his own venture called Gold Lion Media (https://www.goldlionmedia.com/, not listed in CA or Delaware).
- Erika is an employee of Team 10. The others in the Team 10 house, if they really are contributing 20% of their money, most likely have a contract that dictates this. Further, the IRS definitely gets involved and thus they are most likely being taxed. The business model is unlike anything I've ever seen before, especially for all of the established executives and investors involved - which leads me to believe it's fake and Shane is being lied to in part.
- What seems much more plausible is that Team 10 is an exposure or branding agency that allows individuals to pay in order to be given exposure. This would align with the goals of TeamDom and Team X. This would also explain why Team 10 Touring would have been established as a formal business entity (for tax purposes).
- The Team 10 members were most likely approached by Paul or one of the associates of Team 10 - or, equally plausible, Team 10 was approached via back channels or modeling agencies/managers by the Team 10 residents - and a business agreement was arranged where the Team 10 member would pay Team 10 (remember, taxes!) in order to receive exposure and social media presence and management in return. This is a legal and valid business agreement, and makes much more sense - and seems to be what people expect.
- This also aligns with the types of businesses Nick Crompton creates.
- It would also follow that when the contracts end (since Team 10 members would be considered customers or clients, NOT employees), perhaps some of the clients (the twins, Alyssa, etc.) were not satisfied or were wanting to continue their presence by fueling more drama. This would coincide with the video they posted as well as the counter-claims others were making saying the twins were not abused.
- All of this also agrees with the assessment Shane makes about the paparazzi filming them making the video.
- The bottom line here is that Nick Crompton is a business man. If there was abuse happening in the Team 10 house, it would have been against his interests to be involved. This is probably why no formal lawsuits for abuse, assault or battery have been made against Jake Paul - because it's all fake and part of the business.
- This is also most likely why Jake Paul is being so accepting about the Shane "exposé" - because it's not really exposing anything. It's exposing that it's a business, which is probably what we'll find out in the following episodes.
- This is another case of elaborate business plans using social media as a medium for revenue - and is not dissimilar to most other social media marketing endeavors.
- Hope this helps.
- Yours,
