Volume 8 Part 1:

• Kanzashi got ganged up by the 5 girls at the school cafeteria after they heard that a girl had confessed her feelings to Ichika. She is asked whether she is going out with Ichika or not. Of course, she reluctantly denies it and says in her head that she is still in the same position as them; a love rival

• The 5 girls make up with Kanzashi after viewing her as not a threat

• The next day, Ichika wakes up to the smell of something nice and spots a big black cat on his chest. It’s Laura in her cat pajamas but before anything further happens, Tatenashi interrupts them since she was planning to wake Ichika up.

• Ichika comes to class to find out that today everyone is to participate in a physical examination and check-up. However, when hearing that his body checkup is going to take place in the same room as the other girls in his class, he declines but is pressured by Chifuyu into taking back his declination since their class was a bit late in finishing up their physical examinations and the other classes were waiting for them to hurry up. Finally, Ichika relents and is blindfolded by Chifiyu (Chifiyu is chuckling ) while he’s having his body check-up in the same place as his female classmates

• Turns out Yamada is gonna be the one to physically check Ichika’s body. Ichika has a tripping accident and lands on top of Yamada’s breasts one again. The 4 girls in response:
o Houki: Ichikaaaa!!!

o Cecilia: Ichika-san, what do you think you are doing ?

o Charlotte: Ichika ecchi!

o Laura: Prepare to die, Ichika!

• Ichika gets knocked out by the 4 and later is woken up by Rin. He’s in the nurse’s office and Rin volunteers to measure his body. Ichika notices Rin is just in her loose jersey and bloomers and starts getting a nose bleed and faints from the blood pressure

Volume 8 Part 1 End:

• The next day, Ichika and the gang are informed by Chifuyu that their personal ISes will be temporarily suspended due to heavy damage

• They get some temporary new equipment in the meantime called Extended Operation Seekers which are exoskeleton suits. Chifuyu orders them to equip these exosuits and experiment/move around in them to help gather data on how well these exo-suits move and how they could be improved.

• Everyone complains that these suits are more difficult to use than the IS and heavy as hell. Only Laura seems to have no problem moving around in her exo-suit

• Ichika gets told by Chifuyu to head on down to a research facility called Kagaribi which was the institution that was originally responsible for developing his IS before secretly getting their project hijacked by Tabane . When he arrives and tries to look around for a staff member, Ichika’s butt suddenly gets grabbed by a woman in a school swimming suit who complements Ichika that he has a nice ass. Ichika gets flustered and thinks he has encountered a pervert.

• The woman apologizes to Ichika and introduces herself as the director of this Kagaribi research facility. She is a former classmate of Chifuyu and tells Ichika that to don’t worry and that his IS will be repaired and improved nicely in time.

• A few weeks later, IS Academy is intruded by unknown forces so Chifuyu orders everyone to gather together at the underground command center.

Volume 8 Part 2:

• Houki , Cecilia , Rin , Charlotte , Laura and Kanzashi come to the command center with Maya, Chifuyu and Tatenashi already there

• Someone has hacked into the school’s computer system via Matrix-like means so their assignment is to also load themselves up into the computer network to confront the hacker

• Meanwhile, Tatenashi is ordered to deal with the enemies and stall for time while Chifuyu and Maya prepare their gear for battle.

• Chifuyu wears a black exo-bodysuit and equips many swords

• Tatenashi equips her IS and has to deal with enemy special forces who can are wearing special suits that allow them to cloak like the Ghost units from Starcraft

• Chifuyu starts facing the enemy IS users alone.

• In the access room, Kanzashi will control the computer and watch over the network while the rest will log themselves into the server. When the girls transport their consciousness to the digital world, they find themselves in a fantasy world similar to Alice in Wonderland. They can’t contact Kanzashi and are hunted by white rabbits and card soldiers. They escape into the forest and discover 5 mysterious doors so they decide to split up and head into each door separately

Volume 8 Part 2 End:

• Rin opens her door and finds herself at her old middle school. She finds Ichika wearing his old middle school uniform as well.

• Chifuyu can fight with the enemy IS users but her blades can’t slash them effectively

• Ichika hears the news about the invasion currently happening at the IS Academy but the maintenance of his IS has not been completed yet

• Chifuyu’s blades reach their limit and can’t be used anymore, but fortunately Maya comes to her rescue with her IS that is equipped with lots and lots of dakkas. As a result of overwhelming firepower from Maya, all the remaining enemies are beaten.

Volume 8 Part 3:

• Ichika finally gets his IS handed back to him and hurriedly flies back to IS Academy. On the way there, he sees a group of shady people carrying someone unconscious on their shoulders who turns out to be Tatenashi. He rescues Tatenashi and then rushes to the underground meeting room.

• He encounters Chifuyu and Maya who orders him to help the 6 girls currently trapped in the virtual world prepared by the enemy hacker. With the help of Kanzashi, he logs in.

• Rin is trapped in the virtual world and forgets that this world is not the real world where she comes from.

• She and virtual world Ichika rush home together during a rainstorm. Virtual world Ichika picks up a towel and helps Rin dry out her hair which makes her feel very happy.

• Virtual world Ichka asks Rin if he can go to her home and borrow the bathroom. Rin accepts

• They arrive to Rin’s home and Ichika asks Rin if she would like to bathe together making her stunned and speechless. She calls Ichika a pervert and runs to her room at the 2nd floor. When Rin is just about to change her wet clothes, Virtual world Ichika, who just finished his bath, comes to see Rin in her room and says “I want you”, making Rin excited

• Rin is pushed onto the bed and slowly stripped off by virtual world Ichika. Rin knows that she shouldn’t do this but for some reason, she’s unable to reject Ichika’s advances

• Suddenly, the real Ichika comes bursting in the room and Rin is confused because there’s suddenly 2 Ichikas but she notices that this Ichika who entered her room was wearing the IS Academy uniform. She immediately grasp the situation and destroys the fake Ichika on her bed.

• Rin and Real Ichika emerge from the door where Rin realizes that she notices that she is half-naked so she asks Ichika to help dress her up and pull up her panties by saying that because it’s you I will let you do it
• After finishing the job, Chifuyu drinks coffee accidentally mixed with her own blood.

• Tatenashi beats all the male special force members but is beaten by an enemy who uses a plasma cutter to cut Tatenashi’s fiber net and entangle her with her own net that she used against the enemy special forces and is then shot with a special gun. She gets captured and taken away.

• Meanwhile, Cecilia is happy with the fake Ichika at her home in England. The two agree to have a special night together. They take a shower and bath together.

• While Cecilia is happy with her Fake Ichika washing her body thoroughly with a sponge , the real one slams open the bathroom door and shoots the fake Ichika.

• Cecilia is angry that the fake Ichika is injured so she summons her IS to attack the shooter but she suddenly has a headache and recognizes the shooter as the real Ichika and turns her IS on the fake IS, instead, destroying him.

• Cecilia is angry at Real Ichika for being so slow in rescuing her and for seeing her naked body. Ichika apologizes to her and compliments Cecilia about her naked body in his apology, making her blush.

• Charlotte in her French maid uniform is serving her fake Ichika at his own household.

• Charlotte’s fake Ichika compliments her that she is performing her maid duties really well, making her blush from the praise. The fake Ichika then starts touching her butt and orders her to come to his room with him.

• Charlotte is ordered to close her eyes and when she is told that she can finally open her eyes, she finds out that there is a wedding dress in front of her.

• The fake Ichika asks Charlotte to marry him and orders her to change into the wedding dress right in front of him. Charlotte is hesitant for a while but accepts so the fake one kisses her on the cheek as a reward.

• Charlotte takes off her maid uniform and her fake Ichika says that he wants to see more

• Charlotte tells Ichika that he is ecchi but she lays down on the bed anyway and waits for Ichika to take off her underwear.

• Suddenly, the real Ichika barges into the room. Charlotte tries to defend the fake one from the real Ichika’s attack. The real Ichika tells Charlotte to come to her senses and one she gains back her memories, Charlotte destroys the fake Ichika who fades away as data fragments.

• Charlotte and Real Ichika emerge out of the door with Charlotte still wearing her underwear and bra. Ichika lends her his jacket so she can cover up. He compliments her that although her expression is angry right now, she is still cute, causing Charlotte to make Ichika promise to ask her out on a date to an amusement park in order to be forgiven.

• Laura is very happy with her marriage life

• Her fake Ichika tells Laura that she is his only angel and persuades her to try on many clothes.

• Laura is so happy that her nosebleed won’t stop.

• Eventually , the fake Ichika asks Laura to wear a naked apron for him, making her mad and yell at Ichika that no way was she gonna wear that but when Ichika kisses her forehead , she accepts his proposal.

• Fake Ichika says Laura is really dashing in her naked apron and starts touching her body

• Suddenly, the real Ichika appears and he’s wearing medieval armor. (Forgot to mention that in each girl’s fantasy he enters, Ichika either arrives dressed in his school uniform or random clothes ranging from a gas mask to a knight in shining armor)

• Laura tries to attack the real Ichika by grabbing her kitchen knife stabbing him but the notices that no blood is coming out from the real Ichika.

• She then realizes that she’s been trapped in a dream and then proceeds to destroy the fake Ichika.

• The two come out together from Laura’s door and Ichika scolds Laura and asks why she was unable to distinguish between the real Ichika and the fake Ichika born from her fantasy.

• Laura says that the Ichika from her dream world was born from her desire to have a family which is the sole thing that is lacking from her entire life so she was unwilling to reject the fake dream world she was in.

• Houki is practicing her kendo with her fake Ichika at the Shinonono Shrine . When she finishes her training, the fake Ichika congratulates her on a job well done and says that he will be the one to prepare breakfast so Houki can go take a bath and dress up before breakfast is ready.

• Back to the mysterious girl who is hacking the IS Academy’s computer system. Her objective is to find the sentient AI of Chifuyu’s personal IS, Kurazakura, and capture and ensure it from its slumber.

• Houki spars with fake Ichika. During sparring, she notices that Ichika’s skill is already good enough to beat her

• While taking a rest , she notices someone in a white hakama come to see her and says that he wants to spar with Fake Ichika

• Houki says to the person in the white hakama to not bother since the results already determine that he would lose against Fake Ichika but the Real Ichika in the white hakama says that you can’t determine results without trying

• The real Ichika is at a disadvantage since the fake Ichika is much better skilled at kendo than him. The real Ichika loses the match, making Houki admire the fake Ichika even more. This situation pisses off the real Ichika and he asks for a rematch.

• Houki is surprised of this stranger’s stubborn personality because it feels really nostalgic for some reason.

• The real Ichika accidentally bumps into Houki while sparring against the fake in the rematch and falls on her, groping her breasts in the process.

• Houki says I will not forgive you Ichika!

• The breast grope jolts her back to her senses and she realizes that she’s been dreaming the whole time and the fake Ichika starts disappearing as a result.

• Houki comes back to the real world while Ichika logs back into the central server in order to confront the enemy hacker.

• He finds a girl with both her eyes closed and long, silvery hair. At first, Ichika thinks she is Laura but it is not her.

• The silver-haired girl introduces herself as Chloe Chronicle and then disappears

• Ichika continues walking in the crumbling virtual world where he meets a woman with long black hair who he feels like he knows really well before a bright white light engulfs his vision and surroundings.

• When Ichika wakes up , he finds himself surrounded by everyone with angry faces due to his actions in the virtual world

• The situation gets so heated up that Chifuyu comes into the dangerous scene in order to deal with it but Rin who is already in the process of performing a drop kick, can’t stop herself in time and her drop kick hits Chifuyu right in the face. Opps. Due to sudden fear from witnessing Rin kicking Chifuyu in the face, Ichika wills himself to fall unconscious again.

• Ichika wakes up again in the medical room and then gets teased by Tatenashi to do ecchi things to her too. She seems to have already been briefed on the shenanigans that occurred in the virtual world.

• Tatenashi thanks Ichika for rescuing her and tells him that her real name is Sarashiki Katana.
Volume 8 Part 4:

• Chifuyu meets with Chloe Chronicle at a café.

• Chloe owns an IS called Kuro Usagi and is extremely loyal to Tabane

• Chifuyu asks her Chloe to tell Tabane to leave Chifuyu and the IS Academy alone. Upon hearing Chifuyu's response, Chloe determines Chifuyu to be a big future threat toward Tabane's plans.

• Chloe gets mad and releases a deadly killing intent and prepares to kill Chifuyu but Chifuyu says that she should train for 10 more years to have a shot at killing her. Chifuyu then walks away from the table after paying for her cup of coffee, leaving Chloe to mutter that her tea tastes very bitter all of a sudden.
Volume 8 Part 5:

• Inside a luxurious room of a hotel, Squall, the leader of Phantom Task, is prepping herself for a dinner date with an important guest while M or Orimura Madoka (the supposed sister of Ichika and Chifuyu) looks on with boredom while her stomach grumbles because she is getting hungry. Squall warns her to try to be all smiles during dinner since the important guest they are eating with is Tabane.

• At the hotel restaurant, Madoka is eating her food while Squall deals with Tabane

• Squall is trying to persuade Tabane to create new ISes for Phantom Task but Tabane refuses.

• Impatient, Squall finally uses her trump card by showing Tabane a picture of the captured Chloe. Tabane gets angry and tells Squall to release Chloe.

• Squall says that it was just a joke and brings out Chloe and tries to persuade Tabane again to help build more ISes for Phantom Task but fails yet again so Squall tries to use force by bringing out her personal IS, Golden Dawn, but she’s unsure if she can beat Tabane (By the way, the hotel they are currently in seems to be owned by Phantom Task)


• Madoka also brings out her IS to deal with Tabane but before she could fire her rifle at Tabane, it starts disintegrating and her IS’s movements are disabled.

• Tabane takes a good look at Madoka and asks whether she is really Orimura Madoka or not

• After confirming that she is Orimura Madoka to Tabane, Tabane's eyes twinkle and she suddenly proposes a deal to Squall that she would only be willing to make a new IS for Madoka. Squall happily agrees to the proposal.
Volume 8 Part 5 End:

• Several days later, Ichika is eating dinner with the gang at the cafeteria. The atmosphere is very weird and feeling danger, Ichika excuses himself by saying he left something important back in his room and quickly walks away. The girls knowing his intentions also get up and try to capture Ichika before he can reach his room but Chifuyu suddenly appears and blocks their way while ordering everyone to go to sleep now.

• Late at night, Rin and Cecilia try to sneak into Ichika’s room but get intercepted by Laura and Charlotte who are also in front of Ichika’s room and both pairs make an excuse that they are just here to “protect” Ichika.

• Bursting in, Laura orders Charlotte to take Ichika away but who they find inside the blanket is none other than Maya , herself.

• Charlotte is confused why Maya is here. Maya answers that she was asked by Chifuyu to sleep in Ichika’s room.

• The 4 girls wonder where Ichika is. Maya answers that he is currently at Chifuyu’s room.

• The four try to excuse themselves but Maya won’t let them escape and spends the whole night lecturing them while Kanzashi and Houki who are watching the scene from far away in safety from Maya’s eyes, are glad that they didn’t join in the raid on Ichika’s room.

Epilogue

• At the underground command center, Chifuyu looks at a stone-like statue attached to many cables. It’s her own personal IS, Kurazakura.

• Several minutes later, a tied-up man who was the commander of the invading special force is wheeled into the room and tries to make a deal with Chifuyu that will allow him and his men to be released back to the US military. (Yeah, turns out the invaders were US Special Forces members operating under some hidden agenda)

• Chifuyu murmurs to herself, that you are never going to give up, huh, Tabane?
