[General information]

We expect you to have a basic understanding with using ULX, and this goes without saying but as well as DarkRP commands, such as placing a lawboard as a mayor or adverting. Not everything will have a specific punishment, so you may have to use your best judgement which is perfectly okay, as long as it's reasonable, below is some  ULX commands you might find yourself using often as an administrator on our server, as well as how to use them.

!jail player timehere
!freeze player
!mute player - this command mutes what they say in chat, not their microphone.
!gag player - this command allows them to use chat, but disables voicechat for them.
!kick player reason - be sure to provide a reason when kicking somebody, if can't always give a reason that's okay
!xban (this will open a small menu, from there it should be fairly self explanatory
!warn player reason - this gives them a warning in chat, you can view how many warns somebody has by typing !warns in chat and finding their name, users as well as staff can view warns. :)

All of these commands, as well as other commands (with the exception of !warn) can be accessed by typing !menu or !xgui in chat, but it's much more efficient to just type the command out in chat instead of going into the menu, finding the command and selecting their name then "ulx jail"

How do I unfreeze, unjail, unmute, ungag somebody? to undo any of these commands, simply add "un" before the original command
Examples: !unmute player !unjail player !unmute player !ungag player. this goes without saying, but "Player" will be replaced with your intended target.\

How can I get a steamid quickly?

Open the console by pressing the tilda ( ~ ) below your escape key and type in " status " (without the quotation marks) doing so will list the current players, as well as their steamids and you can copy paste :)

((IMPORTANT: NOT EVERYTHING IS LISTED HERE, SOMETIMES YOU MAY HAVE TO USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT, WHICH IS OKAY!!))


1. Read our MOTD and know the rules.
2. If there's getting to be a lot of people on, then more staff members should go on duty. This shouldn't have to be explained, but if there's say, 6 people on have at least 1 admin on duty.
3. BE ACTIVE! Primarily in the discord as well as the Garry's mod server, doing so without submitting a "LOA" (leave of absence) will result in strike for inactivity and a possible demotion.

[RDM, RDA, LTAP]

First offence = warn + 60 second jail
Second offence = warn + jail 3 minutes
Third offence = warn + jail 6 minutes
Fourth offence = kick
Fifth offence = ban for  days
Mass rdm (4 or more kills) = 7 day ban

[Player & staff harassment]

Just to get this out of the way, don't ever warn somebody for giving you crtisim, or a simple "fuck you" and what I mean by this is if you are easily offended, work on not being so sensitive and refrain from warning for "staff disrespect" as well as "server disrespect"  or else you might be at risk for a possible removal from your position as a staff, it makes the team look bad when somebody gets warned & muted for a "bitch" "fuck you" just because somebody is sensitive and got their feelings hurt, however, if you are being continuously targetted and harrased by users, you may warn them for "harassment" and give issue a 5 minute mute. Staff harassment as well as player harassment should be EQUAL punishments,  just because it's a staff that doesn't mean the punishment is longer.

First offence = warn + 6 minute mute
Second offence = warn + 10 minute mute
Third offence = kick
Fourth offence = ban for 3 days

[NITRP]

As mentioned above in general information, you will have to use your best judgement to determine whether somebody is breaking this rule, some examples of somebody who might be here with no intent to roleplay would be joining the server and not changing jobs and harassing other players in ooc, somebody who joins the server and breaks rules after being connected for only 10 minutes, ect

[NLR / FAILRP]
The NLR wait period is 3 minutes.

First offence = warn
Second offence = warn & 140 second jail
Third offence = warn & jail 260 seconds
Fourth offence = kick
Fifth offence = ban for 1 day

[Staff requirements]

There's no minmum age as to what you have to be in order to apply, maturity and knowing the rules is what gets you staff.
Must be active in our discord as well as the DarkRP server
Must have a good understanding of our server rules, which can be found by typing !motd in chat
Must have at least 300 hours in garry's mod
Previous staff experience will hire your chances of getting accepeted.



So, what's been added & what's new?

✓ Removed the rule about "mic spamming" seeing as a clientside option to mute is available to everyone and anyone who connects to our server, if anyone has an issue in-game about it you can explain to them how to clientside mute a player. (Tab, select their name, bottom of your screen find the speaker icon and tick that.)

✓ Player disrespect is no longer a thing, however, continous harassment of another player will result in a mute, ect
