+InitialDsTak __ If you had read what I wrote above (several times) you would have noticed the following:

Your response is effectively that in practice! You ACCEPT what "David Blaine" is alleged to have done is possible and you can IMAGINE it to be true.

And so you are powerless to resist believing he really did break the world record.

(It does not matter one iota that the world record was again broken.)

You have not understood "sufficient proof". I am trying to make it clear to you but it requires some effort on your part.

Please try to understand.

*When it is a policy to make claims to a population by intentionally and systematically withholding sufficient proof - the population's belief becomes founded and formed on trust and accepting (or mistaking) proof's appearances for [actual] proof*.

The larger point I am making is that the population subjected to this form of psychological abuse will end up believing anything it is told. Anything. ANYTHING. Not just that which happens to be true - but also that which happens to be outrageously absurd.

I am not asserting that the "ISS" is not real *and manned*. I am using the "ISS" to make this larger point.

The "David Blaine" example was not an invitation for you to tell me why you can believe it - it was to help you understand what is meant by "sufficient proof".

The claim about a real *and manned* "ISS" has as much sufficient proof as "David Blaine" did of his breath holding attempt.

It may well be true that "David Blaine" held his breath for 17 minutes. It may well be true that there is a real *and manned* "ISS". But so long as you believe based on trust and accept proof's appearances *you will remain powerless to doubt anything you are told*.

That means if "Neil deGrasse Tyson" were to tell everyone he has made contact with aliens - you will believe him.

If the nightly news reports on an alien invasion tomorrow - you will believe it.

You will believe it in the same way that you believe there is a real *and manned* "ISS" and in the *same way* that you believe "David Blaine" held his breath for 17 minutes.

There may well be an alien invasion tomorrow - but if there is NOT an alien invasion yet it is reported - *you will be unable to doubt it*.

I am trying to point out what is being done to the population on a daily basis. Yet you are arguing with me as though I am some kind of "conspiracy theorist". Take a break and read over this again later. Eventually it'll make sense.
