  1. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/lc-248250875
  2. as seen in this video you already made a pretty nice highly offencive team and i like it it looks solid ;3
  3.
  4.
  5. So before asking me everything i will explain what clamperl NEEDS:
  6. pokes to deal with : fletchling's priority
  7. pawniard's priority
  8.
  9.
  10. counters like:
  11. croagunk, cottonee, porygon, chinchou are all common and also need to be fixed:
  12.
  13. most of these are solved with: diglett + cottonee because that solves: croagunk, chinchou, pawniard
  14. while: diglett can't be a momentum support if it's made to counter pawniard so you would be back to 2 :/
  15. drilbur can give support against: fletchling IF SR are up, pawniard, croagunk, and all exept scarfed chinchou(who would screw diglett up also)
  16. what imo is better coverage for a core memeber knowing it gives SR,
  17.
  18.
  19. but you asked ME to make a clamperl team so i ended up with 3 teams:
  20.
  21. An Anylisis of your team/the team you used in that battle:

  85.

  133. - Flare Blitz
  134. - Will-O-Wisp

  137.
  138. Mienfoo @ Eviolite
  139. Ability: Regenerator
  140. Level: 5
  141. EVs: 236 Atk / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
  142. Jolly Nature
  143. - Knock Off
  144. - High Jump Kick
  145. - Feint
  146. - U-turn
  147.
  148. This team unlike the previous one doesn't have a problem with ferroseed and shows of a less heavly build around 1 poke thing what is honestly the most hate able of all.
  149.
  150. Feint on mienfoo allows you to damage abra after sash is used and allows you to beat: zigzagoon at low HP, magby at low HP, fletchling at low HP(does atleast 3Hp damage or 17%)
  151.
  152. you also have a good stand towards other teams thanks to 2 shell smashers , set up help from cottonee and finaly drilbur who is a common thing to deal with irritating pokes aswell as being able to put up SR
  153.
  154.
  155. the team seems weak to scald but no it's not cottonee should deal with that aswell as:
  156. 0 SpA Staryu Psychic vs. 0 HP / 80 SpD Clamperl: 7-9 (35 - 45%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
  157. clamperl also like to switch in and take a scald from slowpoke/staryu because it basicaly sweeps that
  158. it's also a 0,4% to 2hko after burn so yay~
  159.
  160. psychic from slowpoke could 2hko however and chinchou is a slight problem
  161. THIS however is a better team then the next one:
  162.
  163. --------------------------------------------------------------Team nr 2----------------------------------------------------------
  164. Ballenced team: I DISLIKE THIS ONE
  165. Clamperl @ DeepSeaTooth
  166. Ability: Rattled
  167. Level: 5
  168. EVs: 248 SpA / 76 SpD / 180 Spe
  169. Timid Nature
  170. IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
  171. - Surf
  172. - Hidden Power [Grass]
  173. - Ice Beam
  174. - Shell Smash
  175.
  176. Cottonee @ Eviolite
  177. Ability: Prankster
  178. Level: 5
  179. EVs: 36 HP / 116 Def / 60 SpA / 200 SpD / 68 Spe
  180. Timid Nature
  181. - Stun Spore
  182. - Giga Drain
  183. - Encore
  184. - Memento
  185.
  186. Diglett @ Life Orb
  187. Ability: Arena Trap
  188. Level: 5
  189. EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe
  190. Jolly Nature
  191. - Earthquake
  192. - Rock Slide
  193. - Sucker Punch
  194. - Memento
  195.
  196. Vullaby @ Eviolite
  197. Ability: Overcoat
  198. Level: 5
  199. EVs: 116 HP / 156 Def / 76 SpD / 116 Spe
  200. Careful Nature
  201. - Defog
  202. - Brave Bird
  203. - Knock Off
  204. - Roost
  205.
  206. Tirtouga @ Berry Juice
  207. Ability: Sturdy
  208. Level: 5
  209. EVs: 212 Atk / 92 Def / 180 Spe
  210. Adamant Nature
  211. - Shell Smash
  212. - Stone Edge
  213. - Aqua Jet
  214. - Stealth Rock
  215.
  216. Mienfoo @ Eviolite
  217. Ability: Regenerator
  218. Level: 5
  219. EVs: 196 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
  220. Jolly Nature
  221. - Drain Punch
  222. - Knock Off
  223. - U-turn
  224. - Acrobatics
  225.
  226. some spreads may in deed look weird but it's to serve multiple purposes at once liek vullaby run's 15 sp def instead of 18 def and a little more speed because: 15 sp def vullaby is able to live 2 dazzlinggleams from abra while 14 is a 2HKO on any roll.
  227.
  228. I run shelsmash + SR on tirtouga because AJ/Stone edge already gives fair amout of coverage to the overal existing pokes while ferroseed a poke who walls this combo WALLS YOU ANWYWAY
  229. mienfoo is there to compleatly ruin ferroseed while you should note it's by far the biggest problem of the whole team.
  230.
  231.
  232. aswell as not giving 100% coverage against chinchou so you will still have a slightly hard time agaisnt it ASWELL as having pretty bad team synarchy so.................................... yea...... it's something <3
