- * the controls for attacking and jumping are reversed in the demo; square jumps and circle spin attacks
- * you have already learned the daring dash, which you don't get at the start of the retail

- The Graveyard:
- * no intro screen, just jumps straight into the game
- * different music, sounds like The Time Device (can't remember where its from)
- * there is a life bottle near the starting point
- * there is a copper shield chest close to the starting point by taking the first right; in the retail there's no chest but a coin bag
- * there is a coin bag near the first book, which isn't there in the retail
- * there is a life bottle to the right of the first zombie encounter
- * zombies give different % to the chalice, meaning you are eligible to get the chalice at a different time than the retail
- * rune hands that you have the rune to turn grey http://i.imgur.com/CmOdpw7.png

- Cemetary Hill:
- * there are zombie moans, which are absent in the retail
- * the club book says something different http://i.imgur.com/d4QfIX5.png
- * its harder to set the club alight; you have to smash it onto fire, not merely wave it over the fire
- * the energy vial in one of the caged areas is gone
- * the top of the hill is missing the box of coins, the rejuvenation fountain, and a book
- The Hilltop Mausoleum:
- * music is from Return to the Graveyard
- * the book at the bottom of the stairs says something different http://i.imgur.com/RoUfMew.png
- * in the demo, the chaos rune is in the boss arena and the moon rune is in the pianist's room; in the retail it is the other way around
- * the phantom pianist's room is missing the two energy vials
- * the pianist's book says something different http://i.imgur.com/xGIb2UR.png
- - the demo's book text hints that it was originally a stone gargoyl that was going to say it
- * the phantom pianist is brighter in the demo http://i.imgur.com/DRay9iT.png
- * in the burning box hallways there is a chest near the burning box that contains an axe; in the the retail the box is moved to the wall facing the first corner and contains throwing daggers
- * the burning heart doesn't make as much noise in the retail, and the souls don't make noise
- * the soul moves around faster
- * when the souls enter the stained glass to summon the demon, the heart beating sound effect is absent
- * the textbox that tells you that the demon's heart is its weakness doesn't appear
