[00:05] * Elysia_Amartia awakens after many hours of excess sleep -- she's still exhausted, for some reason. Rubbing her eyes groggily, Ellie gropes around for her glasses and equips them before checking her tablet. Noting the blinking, she wakes it up and accesses her mail.
[00:06] <Ai_Mori> 'hello ellie how are things i am fine please do not worry' -Ai Mori
[00:08] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I knew you skipped the medical bay. Why are you at the Commander's house? Everything is going terribly.'
[00:09] <Ai_Mori> 'i went to hide at the commanders and i am sorry to here everything is terrible i would try to help but seeing me would only make you sad'
[00:17] <Elysia_Amartia> 'William is gone.'
[00:18] <Ai_Mori> 'he will be back'
[00:20] <Elysia_Amartia> 'This is all my fault.'
[00:20] <Ai_Mori> 'no this is our own fault'
[00:22] <Elysia_Amartia> '... Unit 04's rampage was initiated by me.'
[00:22] <Ai_Mori> 'we needed it to win if you hadnt then that monster would have eaten my head'

[00:25] <Ai_Mori> 'i am grateful for what you did ellie if you hadnt then i would be dead right now'

[00:26] <Ai_Mori> 'i will but you ejected me out of the eva before it ripped the chest out'
[00:27] <Elysia_Amartia> 'They bought the time... I think the technicians are using Unit 07's corpse to repair theirs."
[00:30] <Ai_Mori> 'i am sorry i froze up out there i was useless that battle a sitting duck is more like it'
[00:30] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I found out what you sensed.'
[00:33] <Ai_Mori> 'what happened to the monkey how did it change is it bigger now is it a different color describe it to me please'
[00:34] <Elysia_Amartia> "It turned into a humanoid female. I think it might be Sandalphon.'
[00:35] <Ai_Mori> 'what really what does she look like is she pretty can she speak whats her name is she an adult like you'
[00:37] <Elysia_Amartia> 'Smaller than me. It speaks a little... I cannot say what is repetition and what is comprehension, though. I only know it was sad when Doctor Roth and I left. Sandalphon is the current designation, maybe Sandy?'
[00:38] <Ai_Mori> 'i like sandy can I go see her when i am better can she come home maybe she just doesnt want to be alone like i do'
[00:40] <Elysia_Amartia> 'Ask Doctor Roth, we still have it in contamination until we have some idea what it is. I intend to go speak with it again soon, but that needs to wait until I recover.'
[00:41] <Ai_Mori> 'you are hurt what happened is it because of me where are you'
[00:42] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I cut myself on some of Unit 07's debris and got some blood in me. They filtered it out, I just feel a bit weak still. Tomorrow will make things better.'
[00:45] <Ai_Mori> 'i am sorry i cannot be there watching over you right now i cant even get to the bathroom without a cane and the wall to brace on

[00:46] <Elysia_Amartia> 'My plan did the opposite I intended it to do.'
[00:47] <Ai_Mori> 'i sitll wish i could help you'
[00:48] <Elysia_Amartia> 'Just get better, your new Evangelion will arrive in a few weeks.'
[00:49] <Ai_Mori> 'i dont think is hould pilot anymore i ruined the last one'
[00:52] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I want you to pilot, but I will not order you to. Your utility with the A.T. Field is extremely useful, and Pilot Yuri performs best in your compan.'

[00:56] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I have already slept twelve hours, anymore would be excessive. I will stay rested, though.'

[00:57] <Ai_Mori> 'and no matter what others say i think you did a fantastic job thank you for saving my life ellie'
[00:59] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I think the original would be doing a better job as she was dying of cancer.'
[01:00] <Ai_Mori> 'you both do excellent jobs'
[01:01] <Elysia_Amartia> '... I could not wake her up the other day.'
[01:02] <Ai_Mori> 'wake who up'
[01:02] <Elysia_Amartia> 'Ellie.'
[01:04] <Ai_Mori> 'ellie come here i have changed my mind i am in danvers room in that house you had dinner at once its the first on your right when you enter'
[01:05] <Elysia_Amartia> 'Give me a few minutes.'
[01:07] <Ai_Mori> 'i wont go anywhere'
[01:10] * Elysia_Amartia arrives there after a while as asked.
[01:11] * Ai_Mori is sitting upright in Danvers' bed, bandage around her head. Her hands are in her lap until Ellie shows, to which she fires them up and out as if telling Ellie she wished to hug
[01:12] * Elysia_Amartia still looks a bit gaunt but looks peaceable enough. She scoots on over to Ai and leans forward to give her the requested hug.
[01:13] <Elysia_Amartia> "Hello, Ai."
[01:14] * Ai_Mori lets go after a few minutes then shuffles over, and pats the edge of the bed, 'please sit'
[01:15] * Elysia_Amartia sits down on the side of the bed. "Why did you change your mind?"
[01:16] <Ai_Mori> 'because i am a terrible person and wanted to see you anyways'
[01:17] <Elysia_Amartia> "Why do you think you're terrible?"
[01:17] <Ai_Mori> 'please do not hate yourself for the last battle we won and are all still alive and will will be back soon you helped save the world and i know that myself and ellie are both proud of you'
[01:18] <Ai_Mori> 'i am terrible because eventhough my state will most likely just be a burden to you i still wished to see you'
[01:17] <Elysia_Amartia> "Why do you think you're terrible?"

[01:18] <Elysia_Amartia> "She didn't wake up... I asked her to and she didn't. She must be disappointed."
[01:20] <Ai_Mori> 'i didnt want her too if she had then she would have had to feel what i did'
[01:21] <Elysia_Amartia> "Mmm..."
[01:23] <Ai_Mori> 'i just had an idea'
[01:23] <Ai_Mori> 'old ellie is in my plug right or maybe roth has her memory backed up from all those times she went for check ups'
[01:24] <Ai_Mori> 'do you think you could add her to the magi'
[01:27] <Elysia_Amartia> "Roth doesn't have them, and the original must exist somewhere... the memories weren't transferred, he just copied some of them over."
[01:28] <Ai_Mori> 'i still think it would be a neat idea then you could talk to her whenever and she could be with all of her and your friends that live in the magi and maybe being a part of them she could actually meet or beat their tetris score'
[01:29] <Elysia_Amartia> "I don't want to talk with her," Ellie whispers. "She has everything I lost."
[01:31] <Ai_Mori> 'but you have gained so much since then i am sure she would love to hear all your stories and you can hear hers'
[01:31] <Ai_Mori> 'but if you do not wish to then i understand you can talk to me any time'
[01:34] <Elysia_Amartia> "Gained...? I've not gained anything I want. Everything was ruined. My mind, my body... if the original still exists, I might not even half a soul like her. The only thing I have left is my purpose..."
[01:35] <Ai_Mori> 'you have gained my care is that not something to want' she hangs her head
[01:37] <Elysia_Amartia> "You cared about her, too... I still have the diary."
[01:40] <Ai_Mori> 'i did and i still do i also care about you more than anyone might know which is why i wish you wouldnt work so hard all the time and would ask me for help sometimes'
[01:40] <Elysia_Amartia> "Do you know who Unit 04's original pilot was?"
[01:44] <Ai_Mori> 'yes ellie told me it was her'
[01:45] <Ai_Mori> 'which is why i never want you or her to get in it again'
[01:46] <Elysia_Amartia> "That was nice of Nerv to hide from me and invite another disaster," she mutters.
[01:48] <Ai_Mori> 'you can ask me anything ellie and i will answer if you wish to see all of the things i wrote down when i was with the old ellie you can read the first pages of my notebook'
[01:53] <Elysia_Amartia> "I... don't care," she finally voices. "Once this nightmare is over, I'm going to use the research gleamed from the S2 Organ's regenerative abilities and restore her existence, then I can just live out this pitiable few decades. I want nothing to do with Nerv or its secrets, I only care about you pilots and Doctor Roth here."
[01:55] <Ai_Mori> 'ellie what has been done is done do not try to revive old ellie the commander never wanted her to live eternity taking orders from nerv or dying painfully from her cancer so what i want you to worry about is getting your own body in tip top shape and then once we defeat the angels i will take you home and let you live out your life but until then do not do things like regenerate old ellie'
[02:03] <Elysia_Amartia> "That was what she wanted," Ellie snaps back darkly, her expression softening once she realizes the slip. "She... I was happy to know I was something unique in the world made through science. I knew I'd have a shortened lifespan, that I might die in pain... All my copied memories are happy and encouraging, only you and a few other things make me even remotely happy with this life..."
[02:08] * Ai_Mori jolts back when snapped at, 'no one should have to experience what ellie would have it pains me that the best people always have the worst happen to them' she then puts down the tablet and starts to cling to Ellie, burying her face in Ellie's side
[02:09] <Elysia_Amartia> "I'm scared that I'm being turned into a human..."
[02:11] <Ai_Mori> 'why its a wonderful or atleast it is again for me'
[02:15] <Elysia_Amartia> "Ulterior motives and self-absorption... I feel poisoned. My life used to be as straightforward as 'Eliminate the Angels and prevent the continuation of the Second Impact'. My mind is bogged down with unnecessary and counterproductive things."

[10:35] <Ai_Mori> 'and my life was as straight forward as obey others and dont be a disgrace anymore it is easier but is it better'
[10:35] * Ai_Mori shuffles over more to give Ellie some room to actually sit on the bed and not just the edge. She then pats the spot next to herself
[10:38] <Elysia_Amartia> "I want the old way back... I don't like this. I don't feel guilty when I lie anymore, and manipulating people doesn't feel as bad. I hate this, I never asked for this..."
[10:40] <Ai_Mori> 'no one ever asks for anything i too do not feel as guilty when i lie so i can stare others in the eyes when i do it now and i have learned my lessons the hardway and am better because of it please sit with my on the bed instead of the edge'
[10:42] <Elysia_Amartia> "Sometimes I wonder if the Angels and Captain Cross have it right..."
[10:43] * Ai_Mori shakes her head, 'please do not push me away like amanda does'
[10:49] * Elysia_Amartia shakes her head, scooting a ways closer. "I won't, I won't... I envy them, though. A self-made identity..."
[10:52] * Ai_Mori closes the gap to the woman, typing something out before clinging to her, 'you are making your own identity two people can look talk and think the same but depending on how they act is what shapes them into who they are'
[10:59] <Elysia_Amartia> "Maybe... I feel something missing, though."
[11:01] <Ai_Mori> 'then let me help find it'
[11:03] <Elysia_Amartia> "I know they're still hiding her somewhere... The Commander also said my memories were copied. Maybe she still has our soul... I doubt it can be shared."
[11:04] <Ai_Mori> Her eyes go wide and she starts to shake for a moment after Ellie mentions the old one still being around, once she gets herself back together she forces a smile and types out a reply'you have your own i have seen it with my own eyes as she has her own'
[11:05] <Ai_Mori> *reply 'you
[11:10] <Elysia_Amartia> "I suppose..."
[11:13] <Ai_Mori> she starts to type something out but then hangs her head before shaking it. After which she starts to retype a reply, 'if you are still worried about old ellie being here then i will talk to the commander when he gets home'
[11:15] <Elysia_Amartia> 'I don't want her killed, if she is..."
[11:15] <Ai_Mori> 'then what do you want of her'
[11:23] <Elysia_Amartia> "Well, eventually I want to help her."
[11:25] <Ai_Mori> 'i do to but right now she shouldnt be woken up' she then freezes solid realizing what she typed
[11:25] <Ai_Mori> *too
[11:29] <Elysia_Amartia> "I figured, there's too much going on right now. I worked on the S2 Engine hoping its regenerative properties could be engineered to effect a person, hopefully..."
[11:30] <Ai_Mori> 'do you think it could help her i think the problem was that her cancer cells regenerated too quickly to be treated'
[11:31] <Elysia_Amartia> "It might be useful in stabilization... It's going to need more research."
[11:32] <Ai_Mori> 'i want to help any way i can please let me help every time i say this i always get tossed to the side like some useless little girl'
[11:33] * Ai_Mori looks up with pleading eyes
[11:33] <Elysia_Amartia> "I'd like access to her, if she really is still here. I don't know if you can do anything about that, though."
[11:35] <Ai_Mori> 'i will try but it is really hard to see i shake even now remembering how she looked and then imagining how the commander described her to be' she starts to cry
[11:38] <Elysia_Amartia> "That doesn't matter to me... I want to speak with her, even if she can't respond."
[11:42] <Ai_Mori> 'i will talk to the commander when he gets home about it'
[11:50] <Elysia_Amartia> "I see..." She gives Ellie a hug. "Thank you. I need to get to work, please keep resting and get better."
[11:52] * Ai_Mori squeazes tight, although it isn't that tight considering her condition, 'please come again soon'
[11:59] <Elysia_Amartia> "I will."
[12:05] * Ai_Mori smiles, 'ellie please do not worry about your self identity if it helps you understand then i will tell you that the one thing i wish to tell old ellie if i could tell her anything right now is that i miss her '
[12:06] <Ai_Mori> 'you are both great and different in your own ways and i would do anything for either of you'
[12:15] * Elysia_Amartia doesn't really understand, but she nods her head anyway. "... ... ..." Ellie picks through her preprogrammed responses -- nothing fits that. "Thank you."
[12:18] * Ai_Mori reaches up and gives Ellie her usual peck on the cheek before letting go
[12:19] * Elysia_Amartia mimics the action before getting off the bed -- she's going home and taking a shower. This is the Commander's bed, she realizes in a moment of revulsion!
[12:20] * Ai_Mori 's smile widens as she excited waves at the woman as she leaves. After the woman goes, she whips out her notebook and starts to write in it
