Catch 22

Covet: Tae was sitting at the counter eating an avacado burger, happy with the flavor. She also had a pile of sweet potato fries that she'd been munching on.
Alexithymiaa: -Noah was sitting next to her at the counter, a plate of a mostly eaten club sandwich in front of him. He was leaning his elbow on the counter with his head drooped down, completely exhausted from his day of work. "I talked to my parents about Spring break."-
Covet: Swallowing the bite in her mouth she looked over at him, "Oh yeah? What did they say?" She asked him
Alexithymiaa: "They said they'd pay for my plane ticket. I knew they would." He spoke as he picked up the nearly finished half of sandwich, taking a lazy bite. "They've paid for Cam to go to Florida for Spring break a couple of times."-
Covet: "Hey, sweet. I'm getting my parents to front me half, they did the same for Eli, so it's only fair." Tae said with a shrug, munching on more of her fries. "But Florida is lame, at least the drinking age in Tijuana is perfect for us to not get in trouble."
Alexithymiaa: "I mean I dont think going to Miami for Spring break sucks, but Tijuana is definitely better. And we can get up to plenty of trouble regardless of the drinking age." He said with a grin.-
Covet: "This is very true, But I plan on being mostly safe.... no dead bodies this year." Tae said with a for sure nod.
Alexithymiaa: "Well that's entirely different. Getting into a little bit of trouble isn't the same as burying a fucking body." He said as he finished off his sandwich, grabbing for his napkin to wipe his fingers.-
Covet: " All the same." She said to him. "I just want to eat tacos, and get my tan on."
Alexithymiaa: "I haven't been surfing in forever." He grumbled, being used to living right near the ocean and being able to just go to the beach whenever he wanted. "I kind of hate being landlocked over here."-
Covet: "Oh my god, you surf? I had no idea." Tae said to him. "Do you think you could teach me?" She asked
Alexithymiaa: "Of course I surf. I grew up at the ocean. Everyone in my family surfs." He spoke casually, shrugging his shoulders. "I could try, yeah. I've never actually taught anyone before."-
Covet: "Awwh, at the very least... we can get cozy on a surfboard and watch the sunset." She said to him leaning over trying to be cute.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned into her a bit, looking down at her face. "Ya' know, now that the weather is breaking a little, we can go down to the lake and do that."-
Covet: "Yeah but it's not quite the same as the ocean. But we can still go out and go skinny dipping. That would be fun." Tae said challenging him.
Alexithymiaa: "Well it's still pretty cold for that, I just meant the sunset thing. And once we're back from Mexico, the lake is all we really have so yeah it's not the ocean, but it'll have to suffice."-
Covet: "Fine fine, we can do that." Tae said going in for another bite at her burger. "I should have gotten tomatoes on here."
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know why you didnt. Every burger is better with tomatoes. And bacon." He added with a nod of his head.-
Covet: "There is bacon on there, I just forgot to put the tomatoes on." She said giving him a glare. "But I won't forget this time."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm judging you." He said quickly as he settled back into his seat, coughing into his hand since he was getting over the tail end of his cold. "Judging you a lot, actually." His eyes dropped down over her torso, checking her out.-
Covet: "Shut up.. It better be good judging." She said glaring at him watching him look her over.
Alexithymiaa: "It's a healthy mix of both." He grinned, moving his hand over to slide across her ribs, pulling her a little closer.-
Covet: "It better be more good than bad." She said to him putting her hand on his chest as he pulled her closer.
Alexithymiaa: "Ehh... sometimes I'm not so sure with you if there's more good or bad. You seem like a pretty healthy mix of both, too." He couldn't keep the smile from his face, leaning in to peck her cheek since sickness.-
Covet: Tae smirked, "I see what you're getting at. Good thing for clearing that up for me though." She said patting his chest, giving him a kiss on the lips.
Alexithymiaa: "What can I say? I'm smooth." He quickly leaned back away from her, putting up his arm to block the oncoming shove he was half expecting from her for his cocky remark.-
Covet: "Yeah like crunchy peanut butter." She said doing just that and giving him a shove.
Alexithymiaa: "Hey!" He yelled, leaning away from her as she shoved him. "I'm plenty smooth. I got you, didn't I?"-
Covet: "This is true, but I'm pretty easy... so... there's that too." She told him taking a dig at herself.
Alexithymiaa: "I don't know if I'm supposed to argue with you on this or let you just be right. This feels like a catch 22." He started unsurely, wincing a bit because he just wasn't sure what would get him hit at this point.-
Covet: "This is why we just leave it as is." She told him pushing her plate away. "I'm ready to go home and get out of these clothes, What about you?" She asked Noah.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm always ready to go home and get you out of your clothes. What kind of question is that?' He started to laugh, slipping off his stool and reachign into his pocket for his wallet to pull out a few bills to tip for them.-
Covet: She laughed and followed him out after he left the tip on the counter
