- >Be human male.
- >Sitting at the bar.
- >Shit day at work. Needed the relaxation.
- >Look around to see a pink cat with blue hair (fur?) tips crying at some table close by.
- >Table covered with empty bottles
- >Normally I would not give a fuck, you see people cry in bars all the time. Something about this just seemed different.
- "What’s the worst that could happen?"
- >Pound the last bit of my beer down and stand up.
- >Make my way over to the table.
- >As I get closer I realize how bad she is crying.
- >Approach cat and cough to get her attention.
- >No response, just tears.
- >Cough LOUDER.
- >She jumps and looks over at me.
- >*sniff* "Sorry, am I being too loud? I can go."
- >She stands up to leave with a wobble.
- "No, it’s ok. I was just wondering if you were alright."
- >Her eye's looked up at me and I caught the strong difference between them.
- >Even in the dark I could still see the vibrant blue and green.
- >"R-really?"
- >Sit down at the table.
- >Have to move some bottles out of the way to see across.
- >She pauses for a moment then sits back down.
- >Gets real quiet, and won't stop staring at me.
- >With those eyes... Those bloodshot tearful eyes.
- >*gulp* "O-ok. If you’re sure."
- >She goes about her recent problems in life.
- >Some shit about losing her online career after she was deemed too old for her target audience.
- >All her friends moved on to better careers while she just got left on the side.
- "That’s fucked up man. Sorry, to hear."
- >She sinks back in her chair.
- >"It's all I had. Now all gone. Nowhere to go but the bottom from here."
- >She slams her head down on the table.
- >Bottles rattle
- >Start to feel bad.
- "You got somewhere to go? You seem WAY too fucked up to be walking home alone, let alone driving. I could just take you home?"
- >Her ears perk a bit.
- >She slowly lifts her head to look at me.
- >"Seriously? I don't know, you might be one of them creeps who take off with girls and they never come back."
- "You got a point. I just might be, worlds a fucked up place. You got any other choice though?"
- >she rolls her eyes with a smile
- >*chuckle* "Guess not. Can you at least promise the death is painless?"
- "Sure, and I'll put some nice flowers on the shallow grave."
- >She gave a much harder chuckle this time.
- >I could see her smile slowly getting larger and larger.
- >"What’s your name?"
- "Anon, and yours?"
- >"Alpha Lexa, but you can call me Lexa for short."
- >We stand up together.
- >She wobbles.
- >I take her by the arm.
- >Walk outside of the bar.
- >Street lights bright and not a car in sight.
- >Make way towards car talking to Lexa
- >Pull keys from pocket
- >Vision goes blurry
- "Shit, I’m drunk too."
- >"You just realized that?"
- "Yeah, sneaky drink tonight I guess."
- >"Fuck, thanks anyways. Guess I will just call a late-night cab."
- >Alcohol confidence kicking in.
- "You live far? I could just walk you."
- >She shrugs.
- >"Not really, just a few blocks from here."
- "Cool, let’s go."
- >She looks a little nervous.
- >"You don't have to do this. Getting me to laugh was what I needed and I feel a little better"
- >She tries to pull back and stumbles almost to a fall.
- "Better huh?"
- >She sighs.
- >"Alright, just be careful ok?"
- >She tells me where she lives.
- >Not the best part of town, actual creeps and drug dealers all around that area.
- >We start walking together towards her home.
- >Debate whether or not to just take her back to my place, but that might seem like...
- >"Anon, you ok? You got a little quiet on me."
- >Snap back into reality
- >Look down to see a slightly concerned pair of blue and green eyes looking at me.
- "I'm ok, just the booze I guess."
- >She sinks her head into my chest a little bit.
- >The softness of her fur is… Nice.
- >"Thanks Anon, you might not be that creep after all."
- "Good, that’s what I want you to think."
- >We laugh.
- >Having a good time and getting more and more comfortable with each other.
- >Arrive in a bad neighborhood.
- >Too drunk to see if anybody was standing around in the area.
- >Get jumped by a guy with a knife in a dark spot where the light doesn’t work.
- >Says it's a mugging.
- >Lexa and I freak.
- >We hand over all valuables.
- >Asshole mugger laughs.
- >Sees we are intoxicated.
- >He screams for me to fuck off and to leave the girl with him.
- >Moves in close.
- >Grabs Lexa.
- >I twitch react and deck the fucker.
- >He grabs his nose and screams he is going to fucking kill me.
- >Charges me.
- >Lexa blindsides him with claws and goes for the eyes.
- >Take the opportunity and we both kick his ass.
- >He passes out.
- >Stand there in shock and filled with adrenalin.
- >Feel sober now.
- >Heart pumping so hard can feel it in my ears.
- >Look to see Lexa going through the same thing.
- "You o..."
- >She falls to her knees.
- >Rush over.
- >"I'm alright Anon, you doing ok?
- "Yeah."
- >Look over guy.
- >Go through his pockets and find our shit.
- >Part of valuables is a cellphone.
- >Call police.
- "They said they are sending someone over now."
- >She nods.
- "We need to get you out of here."
- >She looks up.
- >"What do you mean, my house is right around the corner?"
- "Can't let you stay here for a while, pretty sure he wasn't alone. As soon as the rest find you separated..."
- >"It..."
- "NO! You are coming home with me and that’s final, no one is going to hurt you anymore."
- >Her head and ears immediately jumped.
- >She looked over to see a very serious Anon.
- >I stretch out my hand.
- "Let’s go."
- >She grabbed my hand
- >Blushing strong enough to see through her pink fur.
- >"How are we going to get home?”
- >I think for a second.
- >My house is much further away.
- >Gets an idea.
- >Pilfers mugger’s wallet and takes cash.
- "Pretty sure he won't mind paying for our cab home. Will he?"
- >"OH! Good idea. He deserved it anyways that jerk."
- >I think heard a purr in that one.
- >Puts wallet back.
- >Move to an area with better lighting to meet police.
- >Guy is taken away.
- >Laugh at faggot.
- >Talk with Lexa until a cab comes to pick us up.
- >Give an address.
- >Taxi drives off.
- >Adrenaline starts to wear off.
- >Get sleepy.
- >Both of us crash in the back seat.
- >I feel my chest vibrating.
- >Wake up to see Lexa sleeping on my chest.
- >Her purring is nice.
- >Take pleasure in the feeling.
- >Throw arm around her back to pull her in close.
- >She sinks into it.
- >Arrive home.
- >Try to wake Lexa.
- >Nothing
- >Try again except this time with some petting.
- >With a couple more purrs, her eyes slowly open.
- >She realizes and jumps.
- >"Oh my god! I did not mean to..."
- >I give her a polite shush as I pull her out of the car.
- >Give Taxi guy all the money from the mugger.
- > It was a lot more than the bill, so nice tip.
- >We groggily walk towards my front door.
- >Fiddle with keys and open.
- >Turn on light.
- >Standard 1 bed 1 bath home.
- >Pull her towards the couch and lay her down.
- >She lets out a sigh of relief.
- "Let me get you some blankets, hold on."
- >Walk into room.
- >Not much since I live alone.
- >Decide to just give her mine instead.
- >Walk back and she is already asleep.
- >Throw blanket over her
- >Tell her Goodnight.
- >Return to room.
- >A couple of hours pass
- >Get waken up by the feeling of a blanket falling on me.
- >Look up to see Lexa crawled on top of my bed.
- >She is giving me this powerful stare.
- "Y-you ok, Lexa?"
- >She climbs closer.
- >"I'm ok, Anon. Just couldn't stop thinking about you."
- >She gets even closer.
- >"They way you came to comfort me, the walk home, and the beating of that guy. To just take me home to safety. Got to repay you somehow."
- >HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT
- >Eyes.
- >Her eyes were all I could focus on.
- >She starts to slowly pull off her sweater.
- >"Now lay still Anon, while I show how much I lo... Appreciate you for everything.”
- >She crawls close enough to be face to face.
- >Can still smell the booze from the night.
- >Breathing intensifies.
- "Alpha. This is nice and all, but you don't have to..."
- >She shushes me with a single extended claw on my lips.
- >We kiss
- >Fur is so fucking soft.
- >Hold for a few seconds then she pulls back.
- >"You like?"
- >She puts on a seductive face.
- >Dick getting harder.
- "Yeah Lexa, that’s REAL nice"
- >She chuckles.
- >"Don't call me Lexa anymore. Call me Alpha for the rest of the night."
- >Holy fuck
- >Jesus Christ
- >Dick getting even harder
- "So Alpha, what are you going to do to me?"
- >She gets a wry smile and quickly pushes into another kiss.
- >We pull blankets off the bed
- >Straddling me.
- >Feels my cock poking her ass.
- >She lets out a small pleasurable "Meow" as she wiggles on my dick
- >So fucking good.
- >Starts moving down my body
- >Can't stop keeping eye contact.
- >Stops when her head is in between my legs.
- >Clear bulge poking through jeans.
- >"Let’s see if you got the size to match your courage big boy?"
- >Unbuttons pants.
- >Pulls down boxers.
- >Cocks pops out.
- >She gives out a small gasp
- >Rubs dick with her soft paw.
- >STILL keeps eye contact with those sharp eyes.
- >"Let me hear it Anon. How good does it feel?"
- "You’re so soft Alpha. Don't stop."
- >She starts to jerk me off slowly.
- >Can't help but twitch and make moans.
- >Licks the tip of my dick with her tongue
- >Circles the tip
- >Kind of rough, but she is soft with it.
- >She starts to purr.
- >Feels good.
- >Breathing heavier and heavier.
- >In the corner of my eyes I can see her lightly shaking her ass and tail.
- >Tell her I am getting closer.
- >She stops and let’s go of my cock.
- >"Not yet Anon. You finish when I tell you too, is that clear?"
- "Yes, ma'am."
- >"None of that formal business, I said call me Alpha."
- "Yes, Alpha."
- >"Good boy."
- >She lays on her back
- >Pulls of her panties
- >Lifts her skirt
- >Perfect view of her wet pussy with her tail wagging.
- >"What are you waiting for? I need to be pleasured too."
- >Quickly get up
- >grab her legs
- >Spread them wide.
- >She moans a little.
- >Start to rub her clit.
- >She grabs my chin and points my face to hers.
- >Her glare is much more powerful than before.
- >Kind of overpowering
- >Some adrenaline kicks.
- >I pick up the pace of my rubbing
- >Her moans get faster and louder.
- >Back is arching a bit.
- >"Anon! Don't stop!"
- >Grab one of her tits and start playing with her nipple.
- >Stick fingers inside of her pussy.
- >She starts to move her hips.
- >Pace picking up
- >Lets out a large scream of pleasure.
- >Cums on my fingers
- >Clenches tightly on them.
- >Stays in that tight clench for a few seconds then let's go.
- >Relaxes her body and breaths for a bit.
- >"Wow Anon, I knew you humans were good with your fingers. But..."
- >She shutters.
- >Looks down to see my still throbbing cock.
- >Quickly spins around and gets on her paws and knees.
- >Points her tail straight up.
- >looks back at me.
- >Wiggles her ass.
- >FUCK YES.
- >Move over and line up my cock.
- >Put the tip in.
- >The feeling is amazing.
- >She rolls her eyes and pushes back so the rest of the shaft slides in.
- >FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK
- >She lets out another loud moan.
- >"Fuck me Anon! Let me feel you!"
- >Grab her hips.
- >Start pounding.
- >Slopping wet fur sounds echoing the room with every thrust.
- >Carry on like this while watching her constantly switch between being face down on the bed and her elbows
- >Getting close.
- "Alpha, I'm going to..."
- >"Than do it. Fill me up with your juices Anon."
- >Grab her tail.
- >Use it along with her hip to pull her as close as possible.
- >Drop every ounce into her pussy.
- >We both let out our loud moans and collapse to the bed.
- >After a couple minutes of recuperating myself, I get up and grab the blankets.
- "Guess you are sleeping with me tonight."
- >She doesn't say a word.
- >Look to those eyes again.
- >Throw the blanket on the bed.
- >Climb in.
- >Cuddle up and lay down next to Lexa.
- >She slowly closes her eyes with a smile and falls asleep.
- >Hold her close.
- >She purrs again.
- >My time with Lexa has been going pretty well.
- >She has crashed at my place on multiple occasions now.
- >Sex is more than I could ask for
- >Eventually after enough time has passed, I decided to ask if a real relationship was something she was comfortable with.
- >Happily agrees to it.
- >Seemed like everything was going perfect.
- >Calls me here and there.
- >Even while I'm at work.
- >Tell her I could get in trouble if she keeps doing this.
- >Apologizes every time.
- >Still does it though.
- >Sitting at my house, day off.
- >Get a call on my cell.
- >Caller ID says, Lexa.
- >Answer
- >"Hey Anon!"
- "What’s up?"
- >"Nothing really, just wanted to talk is all."
- "Sure."
- >Have a short chat on the phone.
- >She goes on and on about how happy she was to have met me that night.
- >Saying I saved her when she needed somebody most.
- >Tell her it was no problem.
- >Just happy that she is happy.
- >She giggles.
- >"You’re so great Anon. Mind if I come over?"
- "Knock yourself out, be happy to have you here."
- >"Ok Anon, see you in a bit."
- >Hangs up.
- >Look around to see a small mess around the living room.
- >Don't look that clean myself.
- >Decide to start picking up.
- >But before I could start, I get a knock at my door.
- "Who could that be?"
- >Dust the food crumbs off my shirt and open door.
- >See Lexa standing there.
- >"Good to see you Anon!"
- >Kind of confused.
- "Good to see you too... How did you get here so quick?"
- >She giggles.
- >"I was already in the area, so I decided to call"
- >I live in a residential area.
- >Nothing close by that warrants her driving this far.
- >Did a new place get built or something?
- >Don't want to seem like an ass, so I will ask later.
- >Invite her in.
- >As she walks by, she brushes my face with her tail.
- >That’s always a good sign.
- >Apologize about the state of my living room.
- >Brushes it off, saying that she doesn't care.
- >"I am just really happy to be by your side. Here is hoping I can do this for a LONG time."
- "Of course Lexa, I wouldn't have it any other way."
- >"Good."
- >We talk.
- >We laugh.
- >Watch whatever we can find online.
- >Make out.
- >Have wonderful sex.
- >Spend the rest of the day in bed together.
- >Wake up the next morning.
- >Sun is barely out.
- >She is not in bed next to me.
- >Usually I wake up and she is awake watching me.
- >Find it kind of endearing
- >Get up to look for her.
- "Lexa?"
- >Hear a voice from down the hall.
- >"Is that you sweetie?"
- >Sweetie.
- "You ok?"
- >"Just making breakfast."
- >Continue to walk down the hall.
- >Start to get a good smell of bacon, eggs, and pancakes.
- >Fucking sweet.
- >Quickly make my way towards the kitchen.
- >Look to see Lexa cooking in nothing but an apron.
- >Hips poking out on the sides and her tail just calmly moving with her.
- >Great view of her ass.
- >Really nice!
- >But I don't have an apron, where did she...?
- >She turns her head to face me.
- >"Good morning!"
- "Morning."
- >"Breakfast is almost ready, just have a seat."
- >nod and take a seat.
- >Lexa is humming a sweet tune.
- >Seems really to be enjoying herself.
- >Look to see some sticky notes on my fridge.
- "Hey are those sticky notes?"
- >"Just thought I would help out and write some things down to make remembering easier."
- >Look over to read a few.
- >It is mostly my usual schedule written down in paper form.
- >The hours and days I work.
- >My breaks and lunch breaks.
- >The times I usually go to sleep.
- "You know this much about me?"
- >"Sure, it is only natural to want to know more about the man you are dating. Right?"
- "I guess."
- >Breakfast was done shortly afterward.
- >We ate.
- >Delicious.
- "So, you got to go to work too right?"
- >She jumps up.
- >"You're right! Got to get dressed, talk to you later Anon!
- "Ok, I am going to finish this nice breakfast and head out myself."
- >She gives me a small kiss on the forehead and runs back towards the room.
- >These are some delicious pancakes.
- >Go to work.
- >Mostly thinking about my naked chef this morning.
- >At first break.
- >Water cooler talk.
- >Female coworker asks about the current project.
- >Tell her everything is fine.
- >Finish up the rest of the break and return to work.
- >After an hour or two, get a call on the desk phone.
- >"4 company! This is Anon speaking."
- >"Anon."
- "Lexa? Is that you?"
- >"Yes. How are you?"
- "I'm fine. Remember what I said about calling me at work so much?"
- >There was a pause.
- >A LONG pause.
- >"Yes, I remember."
- "Is everything ok?"
- >Another long pause.
- >"Nothing is wrong, just wanted to say hi."
- "Ok darling, talk to you another time. I got work to do."
- >I hear a giggle.
- >"Darling?"
- "You called me sweetie earlier today. Thought I would give you a cute pet name too."
- >Hear another giggle.
- >"You have a good day Anon. Sorry I bothered you..."
- "No problem here. You have a good one too!"
- >Hang up.
- >Wonder why she sounded so deadpan at first.
- >Maybe a rough day at work.
- >I should take her out tonight.
- >Finish off the rest of my day.
- >Come home.
- "What?"
- >See Lexa's car parked outside my house.
- >Visible confusion.
- >Park behind her vehicle.
- >Look to see if she is in the car.
- >Nope
- >Make my way towards the front door.
- >It's open.
- "What the hell is going on?"
- >Walk in.
- >See Lexa sitting there on the couch.
- >Her eyes look sharp again.
- "Lexa?"
- >"Yes Anon?"
- >Her tone suggests a little bit of anger.
- "How did you get in?"
- >"Spare key under the mat."
- >Should have moved that.
- >This constant sharp look in her eyes is unsettling.
- >Fucking with me hard.
- >"Anon, be honest. Do you love me?"
- >I pause.
- >This is such a strong question to just come out like this.
- >"Well?"
- >I gulp.
- "Y...yes. Of course, I love you, Lexa. Why do you ask so suddenly?"
- >She turns her head away from me.
- >"It's because I got to make sure, you know how things have been for me recently. Guess it made me a little bit on edge is all."
- "Sure, I understand that. Got to ask though, why did you come into my house when I am not home?"
- >She turns her head back to face me.
- >Those eyes are back.
- >"Do you not trust me Anon?"
- "It's not that. Just kind of strange is all."
- >"...Strange? Really?"
- "Kind of yeah. I know we are dating and all, but we never agreed on something like this. That’s like me walking into your home without you knowing, doesn't that feel weird? Like I am that creep that walks off with girls remember?"
- >She frowns a bit.
- >"Yeah I get that. I just really needed to know. Cannot afford being hurt like that again."
- "I get you."
- >I make my way towards the couch.
- >Sit next to her.
- >Hold her tight and start petting her.
- "How about this, you move in with me.
- >She pushes back.
- >"Really?"
- "I mean it. Plus it will get you out of that neighborhood. Do not need another mugging."
- >She tears up and smiles.
- >"True true."
- "Plus I get a WONDERFUL cook and a smoking hot kitty. Win-win to me."
- >"Oh Anon."
- >Pull her back in close.
- >Give her more pets.
- >She rolls her head into it, to make sure I get all the right spots.
- >Purrs.
- "Come on. Let’s get your stuff darling."
- >"Ok sweetie."
- >Some time passes
- >Happily living with Lexa
- >The move was really easy to adjust too.
- >Lexa also seems happy.
- >As time goes on though, she gets VERY clingy.
- >Watching my every move.
- >When I speak to another woman she gets a defensive.
- >Tell her it’s nothing.
- >She apologizes every time.
- >Tell myself over and over it is because of her past.
- >Conversations get crazy too.
- >Ranging from telling about her day to her telling me what she would do to other people who would hurt me.
- >In graphic detail.
- >Real bloody murder talk.
- >Gets that look in her eyes when she talks about it.
- >Tonight is special though.
- >Going to the bar where we first met.
- >celebrating our 1st anniversary.
- >Walk in to see the table we talked at open.
- >Sit down.
- "Been a long time."
- >"You're telling me, feels like forever ago."
- "All that’s missing is the bottles."
- >She punches me in the arm.
- >We laugh.
- >Date goes well.
- >Both of us have not been this drunk in a long time.
- >No need to drink so much anymore I guess.
- >Talk and order drinks until nightfall.
- "Now this seems familiar."
- >Bottles cover the table.
- >Lexa is face down on the table.
- >With a smile this time.
- "Time to go home?"
- >All she can do is nod.
- >I help her stand up
- >Tell bartender we are taking a cab and the car will be here.
- >Take a cab.
- >Same guy rolls up.
- >He says he will give a deal on the ride, because of our previous tip.
- >Cool with me.
- >Ride home
- >Some giggles and nibbles in the backseat.
- >Arrive home
- >Give the driver a good tip.
- >We laugh our way into our home.
- >Kiss as we make our way towards the room.
- >Land on bed.
- "Lexa, I love you."
- >"I love you too."
- >Make out.
- >Proceed to take off clothes.
- >Loving the feeling of her soft body on top of me.
- >"Anon, I want you."
- "You can have as much of me as you want."
- >"I was hoping you would say that."
- >Suddenly she digs her claws into my shoulders.
- >Fucking hurts.
- >Starts to pull down a bit to scratch.
- >Grit my teeth.
- >Look up to see that crazy look in her eyes again.
- "Lexa what are you do..."
- >She tightens her grip on my shoulders.
- >"Call me Alpha, you know the rules."
- >Can't think straight.
- >Can't move.
- >"Anon you will be mine forever."
- "Le... Alpha, what’s going on?"
- >"Nothing Anon. Just let me have my fun."
- >She spins around
- >Putting her pussy on my face.
- >Almost can't breathe.
- >Takes one long lick across my dick.
- >Shit feels good.
- >Her scent is intoxicating.
- >Feel myself getting hard.
- >She purrs as she grabs my dick with her mouth.
- >Giving me a blow job.
- >Shoulder pain is slowly being replaced with ecstasy.
- >Start licking her folds.
- >Her moans get louder with every pass over her clit.
- >Claws slowly scrape across legs.
- >Pain is starting to feel good.
- >We both pick up our paces.
- >I can feel myself getting close.
- >She stops.
- >Climbs and spins back around.
- >Without a word she slams her pussy down on my cock.
- >Was really sudden.
- >Makes me lean up a bit in shock.
- >Get slammed back down on the bad.
- >One of her paws on my shoulder, the other being used balance.
- >She starts to bounce.
- >Jesus she is moving so fast.
- >"Anon, marry me."
- "H-huh?"
- >I feel her claws on my shoulder tighten.
- >Pulls across my chest.
- >"I said marry me Anon. I want to be with you FOREVER."
- >Her bouncing gets harder and faster.
- >"You make me feel special. No one has ever made me feel this special."
- >Getting faster.
- >"Say it."
- >Her other claw comes around to strike me again.
- >I am about to finish.
- >Grab her shoulders and pull her close.
- "Yes, Alpha. I will marry you!"
- >She arches her back as we both finish at the same time.
- >Slamming down on my cock to make sure none of my juices escape.
- >Look over to see my body covered in more scratches and blood than I realized.
- >"Anon, let’s go again."
- "Again?"
- >"What’s a wife without a child?"
- >Starts moving again.
- >This going to be a long night.
- >Standing next to the water cooler at work.
- >Fucking tired.
- >No sleep.
- >Co-worker comes up.
- >Gets my attention by tapping me on the shoulder.
- >Flinch in pain.
- >Ask if I was ok.
- >Tell him I was sore from exercising.
- >Break ends.
- >Sit at desk.
- >Sure enough, phone rings.
- >"Hey new fiancé, how are you?"
- "Wonderful, and you?"
- >"Getting everything ready for our wedding. I am so excited to be marrying you Anon."
- "I am excited to be marrying you, Lexa."
- >"Got to go, boss is telling me to get back to work. Love you!"
- "Love you too."
- >Hang up phone.
- >Feel body ache with every move.
- >Getting married soon.
- >And a kid as well when that comes around.
- >"What’s the worst that could happen?"
- >Wedding day
- >Real nervous.
- >Look over at family.
- >Everyone seems excited.
- >Lots of thumbs up from everyone.
- >Look to in-laws.
- >Very mixed emotions.
- >Some happy.
- >Some angry.
- >All cats.
- > It seems like Lexa is the first to be with a human for a long time.
- >Hear music start.
- >Take a deep breath and look over towards the entrance to the church.
- >Slowly opens to reveal Lexa in a wonderful white dress.
- >Heart skips a beat as she looks towards me.
- >Even through the veil, I can see her eyes.
- >No matter how many times our eyes meet, hers will always stand out.
- >Finally gets to my side.
- >Ceremony goes off without a hitch.
- >Pastor drops the famous words
- >Pull up veil
- >See a calm pair of blue and green.
- >Biggest smile.
- >And a blush so pink it makes her fur jealous.
- >Kiss her.
- >Crowd claps and goes wild.
- >Well, almost everyone.
- >Her side is a bit quieter compared to mine.
- >Doesn't matter
- >I now have a wife
- >A wife that I will love and cherish.
- >No matter what complications may lie ahead.
- >During the honeymoon we made sure to consummate the marriage
- >On the floor
- >On the bed
- >In the hot tub.
- >We never wanted to stop.
- >But sleep will get you after a while.
- >Cuddled together until we passed out.
- >loving each other
- >Fast forward a couple months
- >Living in a new house that we struggled to get.
- >The dream was becoming a reality.
- >Work is still the same but with both of us working together we can keep up with the bills.
- >Sitting at work desk
- >Look at the clock.
- >First break.
- >Stretch arms.
- >Phone rings
- >Right on cue.
- >Answer
- "That you Lexa?"
- >"Of course. Who else would it be?"
- >My boss caught wind a long time ago.
- >Talked it over and he seemed fine with it.
- >As long as it was not on company time.
- "Anything new today?"
- >"Same old same old. And you?"
- "Nothing."
- >"Seems like we are both having a boring day."
- >Chatted a bit.
- >Someone taps on my shoulder
- >Female coworker.
- >Ask if she can borrow my stapler.
- >Tell her sure.
- >Thanks me and walks off.
- "Sorry about that Lexa."
- >Gets quiet
- "Lexa?"
- >"Yes?"
- "You ok?"
- >"...I'm fine. Got to go."
- "Oh um, ok. Love you."
- >"Love you too."
- >Hang up.
- >Sounded kind of down.
- >She has not been like this in a while.
- >Work stress maybe?
- >We have been working a lot lately.
- >Time for a little pick me up.
- >That gift I was looking at would work perfectly.
- >Get off work.
- >Late.
- >Quickly make my way into town.
- >Got to get there before they close.
- >Swerve through traffic.
- >Barely make it there in time.
- >Run in.
- >See gift.
- >Quickly make the purchase.
- >Hop in the car and head home.
- >Finally make it back.
- >See that Lexa is home.
- >Park and head towards the front door.
- >Open door.
- >living room is dark.
- >Light on in the kitchen.
- "Darling, I'm home."
- >No response
- >Make my way towards the kitchen.
- >As I get closer I hear some chopping sounds.
- >Walk in to see Lexa chopping carrots.
- "Hey, so what’s for dinner?"
- >"I don't know."
- "Then what are the carrots for?"
- >"Salads."
- "So, we are having salad tonight?"
- >She stops.
- >"Suppose so."
- >She moves the carrots into a bowl.
- >A lot of carrots are chopped into it.
- >The whole pack it looks like.
- "Did something happen at work?"
- >"You could say that."
- "Want to talk about it?"
- >"No."
- >Her responses are cold.
- "Well, I heard over the phone that you were having a rough day. So I got you a gift."
- >Pull out a tiny box.
- >Little bow
- >Lexa's ears perk a bit.
- "I know it is not much, but you know. I thought about you when I saw it."
- >She turns her head.
- >Her eyes are red and puffy.
- "Have you been crying?"
- >A sniff escapes her nose.
- "What's wrong? You have to tell me."
- >"Just tell me Anon, what is her name?"
- "Who?"
- >Her paws slam down on the counter
- >"The other woman!"
- "What are you talking about?"
- >Lexa starts popping off.
- >Tells me about the conversation at work
- "The girl I gave the stapler too?"
- >"Yes!"
- >Goes on and on about her fear that I may be cheating
- >Tell her that was just a coworker and nothing more
- >Won't believe me.
- >"I had to be sure, so that’s why after our call I left work early. Decided to see what I am being replaced with."
- "Did you..."
- >"Follow her around? Yeah, I did."
- >Absolutely shocked.
- >"Followed you too. For all I know there could have been more than one."
- "Lexa this is ridiculous. Why would I do such a thing to you?"
- >"I don't know! That's why I did what I did. Guess she was cute, you have decent taste."
- "Lexa... I..."
- >Speechless
- >Thinks I am cheating because of one conversation?
- >Insane!
- "Look, we can talk this through. No need for us to fight."
- >Take a single step
- >She grabs the knife and turns it towards me.
- >"Do not come any closer, you hurt me enough today."
- >Jesus Christ.
- >Is this my sweet Lexa?
- "I am going to leave. This has gone way out of hand and I think you need time to cool off."
- >I open the box.
- >Take out this little black collar.
- >Little gold tag attached
- >inscription: I <3 you.
- >Lay it on the table.
- >Leave and get into the car.
- >Start vehicle
- >Look at the house.
- >Drive off.
- >Have nowhere to go
- >Decide to just stop in some parking lot.
- >Think about what just happened
- >Can't bring myself to go back home.
- >Sleep in the parking lot.
- >Some time I get a knock on my car door.
- >Open eyes to see flashing blue.
- >Another knock
- >Roll down window.
- "Anything wrong officer?"
- >Asked who I was
- >Told him
- >He tells me that Lexa has just been arrested.
- >What!?!?
- >Explains to me that the neighbors called after hearing some loud noises coming from my house.
- >They arrived to a distraught Lexa destroying the kitchen and living room
- >After a small fight with the police, she was detained.
- >The cop then tells me that I need to come down to the station to ask more questions.
- >Agree and follow.
- >Mind racing.
- >Feel like it's my fault for just leaving her.
- >Easily one of the longest drives of my life.
- >Arrive at station.
- >Cop directs me inside.
- >He asks the front desk clerk where Lexa is.
- >Points towards the cells in section B.
- >Thanks her and gestures me to follow him again.
- >Walk in section B to quickly find Lexa.
- >Sitting on a bench looking down.
- >Clothes torn a bit.
- >Bruising.
- >Looks miserable.
- >Get a better look.
- >Wearing the collar.
- "Hey."
- >Looks towards me.
- >Surprised look.
- >"What are you doing here?"
- "I was told what happened, got worried and came here immediately."
- >Puts her head back down.
- >"I'm sorry. I just..."
- >Cop taps on my shoulder
- >Says that we still need talk.
- "I will be back, ok?"
- >All she did was sob.
- >Follow guy to new room.
- >Obvious interrogation area.
- >Ask about relationship
- >Tell him it's perfectly fine.
- >Then he asked about any fighting.
- >Slink down a bit.
- >Tell him about the fight before I left.
- >Asked if I hit her.
- >Almost hit him for asking.
- >Say no.
- >Brings up the knife.
- >Tell him I do not want to press charges.
- >This goes on for a good bit.
- >Eventually gets up to leave me alone in the room.
- >Slam head down on the table
- >Keep running the situation through my head.
- >It's my fault.
- >It's my fault.
- >It's my fault.
- >Door opens.
- >Cop tells me I am free to go.
- >Ask about Lexa.
- >Says the front desk clerk and the psyche doc wants to talk.
- >Why the psyche doc?
- >Follow.
- >Lexa is standing there in the front area in cuffs.
- >Make my way past the cop.
- "So what’s this about a doctor?"
- >Introduces herself
- >Says Lexa is free to go under one circumstance.
- >I am to leave her alone for at least two weeks.
- "Leave alone? Two weeks?"
- >Lexa spoke
- >"She says that we need time apart, that the outburst was because of the stress from the relationship."
- >Pissed
- >Tell everybody that the relationship is fine.
- >Cops start to surround the area.
- >Doctor tells me that we agree or she stays here until further notice.
- >Long pause.
- >She then ask if there is anywhere she could go.
- >Nothing I can do
- "If anyone is leaving, let it be me. I can just stay with my parents in town. Let her have the house."
- >"Anon..."
- >Doctor agrees to terms
- >Lexa is let go.
- >We run to an embrace.
- >Crying
- >Both of us apologizing to each other.
- >We are told that all contact between the two of us is to be avoided.
- >Will be watched to make sure that happens.
- >The knife part put them on edge.
- >Agree
- >Leave station
- >Drive home silently
- >Try to tune out the silence with the radio.
- >Bothered by it too much.
- >Turn it back off.
- >Arrive home.
- >Lexa slowly gets out.
- >I climb and meet her
- >Grab her paw.
- >Give her a hug
- >Pull away and catch the collar tag reflect some light off a street lamp.
- >Smile
- "Everything is going to be ok."
- >"I hope so."
- >Let go of her
- >Hop into car
- >Wave goodbye
- >Leave
- >I watch her stand in the driveway in my mirror until I turn away.
- >Explain the situation to my parents.
- >They seemed anxious about the whole thing.
- >Agrees to let me stay.
- >Help mom around the house
- >Dad wants me to talk about it more.
- >Tell him not right now.
- >Eventually we all grow tired.
- >Try to crash on the couch.
- >Can't sleep.
- >Just lie there wondering how Lexa is doing.
- >Fucking sick.
- >No sleep.
- >Work is hell.
- >Finally come around to first break.
- >Lock PC and stretch out arms.
- >Look over at the phone.
- >Silent.
- >Never rings.
- >Slink down into chair.
- >Sit there in silence until the break ends.
- >Get back to work.
- >Come back to my parent’s house.
- >Just sit on the couch.
- >Pull out a phone from my pocket.
- >No missed calls.
- >No new text.
- >Lock phone.
- >Mom comes in and sits down
- >Wants to know all the details.
- >Tell her it is just far too sensitive right now.
- >Asked if Lexa was supposed to be around here.
- >Look at my mom puzzled.
- >She swears she saw Lexa in the area recently.
- >Have to tell her about the forced distance.
- >Doesn't ask further about it.
- >Just tells me what she might have seen.
- >Thank her for the info.
- >Ponder on it.
- >Can't be true.
- >Lexa wouldn’t jeopardize her freedom.
- >Get up and tell mom that I am helping with dinner.
- >Gets happy.
- >Lying on the couch again.
- >Still can't sleep
- >Roll over on my side.
- >Looking at the window
- >See silhouette run into the shadows.
- >Jump up.
- >Look outside.
- >See nothing.
- >Close blinds.
- >Stress is getting to me more and more it seems.
- > The same schedule carries on for a few days.
- >Work is hell.
- >Sleep is nonexistent.
- >And the stress is making me see and her shit at night.
- >After another uneventful day, just on the couch.
- >Hear something outside.
- >Close eyes.
- >Ignore it.
- >Hear it again.
- >Not getting up to check nothing again.
- >Something jingles.
- >Sounds like a collar a pet would wear or something.
- >Collar...
- >Open eyes.
- >Quickly turn head.
- >Look over at the window.
- >See Lexa pressed against the glass.
- >Jump up.
- >We look at each other.
- >She has those sharp eyes again.
- >Except this time it looks, different.
- >Not sure what it is.
- >Make my way outside.
- "What are you doing here? If the cops or something see you here, you are going back to jail!"
- >"Anon, tell me you love me."
- "Lexa please not now. Not like this."
- >"I love you Anon."
- "Lexa."
- >"Come here and let me give you my love."
- >Takes a step towards me.
- >Jump back
- "Lexa you leave right now! I don't want to see you get arrested again."
- >"Anon..."
- >Repeats my name over and over.
- >Progressively getting louder and louder.
- >Screaming at this point.
- >Parents come bursting from down the hall.
- >Father steps up.
- >Tells her to get off of his property before he calls the police.
- >Say to him that is not necessary.
- >Lexa stops screaming.
- >Turns to walk away.
- >Stops by my dad’s car.
- >Uses a claw to pop one of his tires.
- >Dad goes berserk.
- >Goes inside.
- >Picks up phone and calls the cops.
- >Beg him to stop.
- >Reports incident.
- >"Look over here sweetie!"
- >look towards Lexa.
- >She is slowly taking off her clothes.
- >"Come here Anon, I have a need. Come here and satisfy me."
- >Run over there to her.
- >Try to stop her from taking off anything.
- >Fighting me the whole time.
- >Soon cops show.
- >Breaks up the struggle.
- >Lexa and I get arrested
- >Sitting in cell
- >Staring at the wall.
- >Mind is completely blank
- >Far too tired
- >Ears ringing from the silence.
- >Just need sleep.
- >Try to close eyes
- >Hear cell door open
- >Look to psyche doctor from earlier with a couple of cops.
- >Bluntly asked what happened.
- >Tell her everything.
- >Asked if I had any involvement or was it just Lexa.
- >Pause
- >Tell her Lexa showed up late in the night.
- >Writes something down.
- >Thanks me for my time.
- >Says I am free to go.
- >Cops ask me to follow them.
- >Leave cell.
- >Get into the lobby.
- >Sits me down and says I got some paperwork to sign.
- >Walks off.
- >Fluorescent lights hurt to look at.
- >Headache coming on quick.
- >Try to go to sleep again.
- >Another loud sound.
- >Eyes bloodshot at this point.
- >Look to see an older pair of cats.
- >One blue with a white face.
- >The other pink.
- "For fuck sakes."
- >Blue one going nuts at the front desk clerk.
- >Demanding to see Lexa.
- >Pink one just standing quietly.
- >She looks over her shoulder to see me sitting in the chair.
- >Taps on the blue.
- >He looks over.
- >Rage.
- >Runs towards me.
- >Screams this is my fault.
- >Jumps on me.
- >Try to defend self
- >Claws still hurt like a bitch.
- >Push him off.
- >Pink cat stops him.
- >Says he needs to calm down.
- >Stand up.
- "Hey, guess she called you huh?"
- >Lexa's parents.
- >Her mom was always nice.
- >Dad on the other hand...
- >Never liked the idea of us getting married.
- >Said humans are not to be trusted.
- >They are nothing but trouble for all cats.
- >Ever since then Lexa kept her distance from her father.
- "Nice to see you Mr. and Mrs. Alpha."
- >Mr. Alpha scoffs.
- >Mrs. Alpha turns away.
- >After a minute of glares, Lexa comes around the corner.
- >Parents embrace her in a hug.
- >They start crying.
- >Try to walk over
- >Get stopped by the glare of her Father.
- >"I don't know what came over me. I just..."
- >Her father sashes her.
- >Says it is because she was tainted by the humans and needed to come home.
- "In case you forget she is my wife, you cannot keep her away from me."
- >Flips me the bird.
- >Father assures me that no way will I ever see her again.
- >Never see her again.
- "You have no authority over her, she is an adult!"
- >Yelling match starts.
- >Lexa and her mom trying to get us to calm down.
- >More police show up.
- >Demanding we sit down immediately.
- >After some more yelling we agree to sit.
- >I finally get handed my papers.
- >Says something about a court date.
- >Look to see Lexa getting the same letter.
- >Court is scheduled a month from now.
- >We are to appear in court together.
- >Says zero contact is to be made.
- >Like that worked the last time we were told.
- >Charges include domestic violence.
- >"I am so sorry Anon, please forgive me."
- >Father shouts at her to stop speaking.
- >Tell him to shut the fuck up.
- "We can make it through this. Get the help we need."
- >She cries.
- >Absolutely worst month of my life goes by.
- >Everything finally built up and I snapped at work.
- >Boss forces me to leave.
- >Cannot come back until I get myself sorted.
- >Still with parents.
- >Just looking at my own house is a nightmare.
- >Alone most of the time.
- >Never leave.
- >Barely eat.
- >Buy alcohol with what little money I have.
- >Get shitfaced almost every night.
- >My parents try everything they can to keep me positive.
- >I am thankful, but nothing they do can make me feel right again.
- >Too much going on.
- >All this sulking has to end though.
- >Time to clean myself up and get ready.
- >My court date is tomorrow.
- >Groan as the sun reaches eyes.
- >Pounding headache.
- >Still sick from a solid month of binge drinking.
- >Shower.
- >Borrow my dad’s nicer clothes.
- >Family wishes me good luck.
- >The drive there was quiet.
- >No radio.
- >No thoughts.
- >Auto pilot.
- >Don't want to waste my time on anything but the trial.
- >Finally arrive.
- >Place looks packed.
- >Could be a long day.
- >Great
- >Walk in and go through the customs of being checked for weapons.
- >Show clerk paperwork and ask for details.
- >Gives me directions.
- >Thank her.
- >Make my way towards the courtroom.
- >Stand at the door and take a breather.
- >Open to see the place is full.
- >A lot of cases in just this one room today.
- >Look around.
- >No Lexa.
- >Find a place to sit.
- >The waiting begins.
- >Hours
- >Almost our turn
- >Where is Lexa?
- >Getting worried now.
- >The case before ours is about to end.
- >Door opens.
- >Lexa walks in with her parents.
- >She looks dead.
- >No expression at all.
- >Her father has his hand on her shoulder.
- >They scan the room.
- >See me
- >Turn away and sit at the other end.
- >After a few minutes, the judge asks for a mister and misses Anon.
- >I stand.
- >Watch as her Father pulls her up to her feet like she is a child.
- >What the hell was that for?
- >Move to the main area.
- >Judge looks over paper.
- >Looks at us.
- >Ask Lexa about domestic violence.
- >Ask if I abused her in any way.
- >She won’t speak.
- >Judge getting impatient.
- >Her father squeezes her shoulder.
- >She jumps.
- >"Sorry your honor."
- >Ask again
- >She flatly says no.
- >Her dad looks at her more intently.
- >Judge turns to me.
- >Same question.
- >Say no.
- >Looks over the file again.
- >He gets this annoyed look.
- >Turns to Lexa
- >Tells her to explain to the court what happened during BOTH fights.
- >Slowly goes over everything.
- >Some information is off.
- >Like about how the arguments started.
- >Blaming it on stress built by the relationship
- >She is lying?
- >Her dad nods.
- >Loosens his grip a little.
- >Finally get it.
- >That bastard.
- >Judge repeats the question to me.
- >Tells the whole truth.
- >Watch him slam down the paperwork in anger.
- >Calls out the discrepancies.
- >Father tries to chime in.
- >He is told it is her testimony, not his.
- >Pushes further
- >Is ordered to please move away and sit in the gallery.
- >Refuses.
- >Threatened with contempt.
- >Angrily pulls away.
- >Watch as Lexa relaxes a bit.
- >Judge demanding answers.
- >Both of us told to approach the bench.
- >Rubs his eyes.
- >Straight up ask if the relationship is something worth saving.
- >We just look at each other.
- >She still looks dead.
- >I smile and hold out my hand.
- >"Even after what happened? I thought you hated me."
- "Hate you? No, never. Who told you I hate you?"
- >Kind of shrinks
- >See her clutch her shoulder.
- "I am still willing to try if you are."
- >See a small change of expression.
- >She reaches out and grabs my hand.
- >We look towards the judge.
- >"Yes, I believe we can still do this."
- >Her father stands up.
- >Judge closes his eyes and thinks.
- >Orders us to marriage counseling.
- >Along with writing out each progress we make.
- >Father screams outrage.
- >Is given final warning.
- >Look to see her mom smiling a little bit.
- >Says we can see each other again if we wish.
- >Bangs gavel.
- >Court is adjourned.
- >For the first time in a long time, I got some real sleep.
- >Lying in my bed with Lexa was the only thing I needed.
- >The counseling started in a week, so we spent that time reconnecting.
- >Smiling.
- >Laughing.
- >Just like it was at the beginning.
- >One night, in particular, we were making dinner.
- >Just something real quick.
- >I noticed that she was not wearing the gift I got her anymore.
- >In fact, she has not worn it the whole time we have been back together.
- >Ask where it is.
- >"Oh yeah the collar, it is still at my parents.
- "We can get it tomorrow if you like."
- >She hesitates
- >"No it's fine, we can get another time."
- "Neither of us have work tomorrow. That seems perfect to me."
- >"I would rather not."
- "Why?"
- >Lexa grabs her shoulder.
- >"I just want to spend all this time with you. No need to go out and handle things yet."
- "If you say so."
- >Finish up preparing meal
- >Have another wonderful night.
- >The time came for our appointment.
- >We got nicely dressed, made a quick breakfast, and made our way there.
- >Talked the whole way so time flew by.
- >Arrive at the office of some doctor.
- >Get out and open the door for Lexa.
- >She blushes.
- >"You don’t have to do things like that, I can do it on my own."
- "I do it because I want to."
- >Pull her to her feet.
- >Nuzzle noses.
- >Take her paw as we make our way to the entrance.
- >The place was deserted.
- >Ask clerk and she says we are the only appointment at the moment.
- >Sit down and wait.
- >Pretty soon we get called back.
- >Enter the councilor's office.
- >Pretty nice place.
- >Take a seat next to Lexa on the couch.
- >Female cat councilor quickly introduces themselves.
- >Happily introduce ourselves.
- >Ask why we are here.
- >Look at each other and divulge everything.
- >Councilor writing notes fast.
- >immediately ask Lexa about the first fight.
- >Kind of shrinks in her chair.
- >"I thought he was cheating on me."
- >Councilor wants more info.
- >"Well, I called him during his first break like I always did. Everything was fine until this girl came up and asked for a stapler or something. I can't put my paw on it, but something snapped. I just became flooded with the idea. So..."
- >Councilor nods to show she is listening.
- >"Maybe a decision was made to go and follow Anon around, which turned into me following any girl he was talking to around. Obsessively watching to catch him in the act."
- >Councilor looks down at her notes.
- >Ask why.
- >Lexa doesn't answer.
- >Stares blankly at the floor.
- "Lexa?"
- >She refocuses.
- "I don't know..."
- >More notes are taken.
- >I get asked about any history of cheating.
- >Straight, quick, no.
- >The rest of the first session goes smoothly.
- >Given talking exorcises to do at home.
- >Councilor says to us that we come back in two weeks.
- >And continue this pattern for four months.
- >Thank her for her time.
- >Leave.
- >Driving home.
- "I think that went pretty well."
- >"Yeah..."
- >Lexa looks upset.
- "Everything ok?"
- >Sighs
- >"Guess just first time jitters, should get better over time."
- >Time flies.
- >These visits are helping.
- >Lots of talking
- >Over time Lexa opens up more the councilor.
- >Going from nervously answering questions one at a time to gossiping.
- >Feels good.
- >Near the end, there was nothing left to talk about.
- >All the gates were open.
- >Except one.
- >Her parents.
- >No matter how many times we would ask she would avoid it.
- >Finally it all came down to the last couple of sessions.
- >Councilor once again ask about relationship with parents.
- >Says it is vital to the healing process.
- "We have been at this for months. Come on, you need to tell us."
- >"...But there is nothing wrong between me and my parents. Happy childhood and happy parents, end of story."
- "Please."
- >Councilor agrees.
- >"I SAID EVERYTHING WAS FINE! NOW DROP IT!"
- >Lexa covers her mouth.
- >Apologizes for the outburst.
- >Councilor looks at her notepad.
- >Claims to have found the root of her anger.
- >Her family.
- >Lexa denies it.
- >But gets shot down by the councilor.
- >Talks about how she needs to open as soon as possible or the fights will happen again.
- >Lexa just bows her head to shut down.
- >Grab her chin and pull her face towards me.
- "It is now or never. You promised we would do this together right?"
- >She grabs her shoulder
- >Sits motionless for a minute and nods.
- >Turns toward the councilor.
- >"My mom is always a joy to be around, smiling and making sure that I smile too. My dad is strict. Very strong-minded and conservative."
- >Councilor asks more about her dad.
- >"He can be hard sometimes, but only wants what’s best for me like all parents do."
- >This carries on for a while.
- >Lexa answered every question
- >Turns out her dad is an abusive prick
- >When she got out of line, harsh physical abuse.
- >When in public, he would put his paw on her shoulder and squeezed tight when she did something he did not approve of.
- >This would normally cause bruising.
- >Her career as an online entertainer was something he did not like.
- >Always talked about her having a real job.
- >So he used his influences to end her career.
- >Her councilor stood up.
- >Asked if I knew anything about this.
- "Hell no! I would have personally put a stop to that."
- >Suddenly remember that she went back to live her parents.
- >Lexa is shaking.
- "Is that why you don't want to go back and get the gift?"
- >Tries to speak but fumbles with her word.
- "Did hurt you when you went back home?"
- >Long pause
- >"Yes."
- >Lost my temper real quick.
- >Councilor is trying to calm me.
- >Lexa has completely broken down.
- >After a few minutes, I finally sit back down.
- "That racist bastard..."
- >Get asked about that one pretty quick.
- >Pop off about what he said about humans.
- "I want him arrested, no way is he getting away with this."
- >"Don't do that! He can just get right back out with his connections, it will only make it worse."
- "Then what do we do then?"
- >Argue with Lexa.
- >Normally I hate to yell at her, but this was serious.
- >She was being controlled her entire life.
- >No wonder her emotions and self-control are off.
- >She was never allowed to be herself.
- "I'm sorry Lexa, but I am going to your parents’ house."
- >"PLEASE NO!"
- "About time I get that collar back."
- >Storm my way out of the building.
- >Lexa chasing me, begging me to stop.
- >Climb into the car and start the engine.
- >"Anon, please! You don't have to do this!"
- "You are going to just let him go?"
- >"Yes! Let's go home!"
- "I'm sorry Lexa, but I cannot let this slide. He hurt you."
- >"I refuse to get in this car until you back off."
- "Lexa..."
- >"You do not know what he is capable of. He will hurt you. I don't want to see you get hurt..."
- >She started to get teary-eyed.
- "I understand that, but how do you think I feel? That feeling of someone hurting the one you love is unbearable. What would you do if your father was doing that me?"
- >She gets silent.
- "Now please, let’s put an end to this. So you can finally be happy."
- >I can see she was running through her thoughts quickly.
- >Probably trying to think of another way out of this.
- >A sigh was all she could muster.
- >"OK, but you have to promise. Please do not do anything drastic."
- "I promise."
- >Lexa climbs in.
- >Without hesitation, I put the car in drive.
- >Start making my way towards her parents’ house.
- >The ride's silence is comparable to the ride back from the jailhouse.
- >Within no time at all, we arrive.
- >Jump out and run towards the front door.
- >Violently knock.
- "Hey, open this door! I have some questions!"
- >Hear cursing on the other side.
- >Door opens up and I meet face to face with her dad.
- >Takes everything not to just punch him right now.
- >He rolls his eyes.
- >Says he does not want to deal with a human right now.
- >Let alone me.
- "I am SO sorry to inconvenience you at this time sir, but it would appear something of mine is here."
- >He doesn't say anything, just raises an eyebrow.
- "The collar."
- >I get laughed at.
- >Tells me that he took it for a reason. Something about it being the symbol of the oppression of their people.
- >Bullshit and he knows it.
- "I gave that to Lexa as a gift, please return it immediately."
- >A hard flat no.
- >Goes on and on again.
- >Keeps talking all this racist shit.
- >"Look Anon, we can just go."
- >Her father puts up his paw.
- >Lexa shrinks back a bit.
- >He tells her that the adults are talking and she needs to shut her mouth.
- >Punch him right then and there.
- >He recoiled back and held his nose.
- "Say something like that again and we will have some serious problems. Got it?"
- >Lexa freaks.
- >Begging me to stop.
- >"You promised Anon! Nothing serious remember!"
- "Sorry Lexa, but there is no way I am letting someone insult you like that."
- >See Lexa’s mom come around a corner.
- >Whatever she was holding was dropped on the ground to help her husband.
- >He pushes her back and uncovers his face.
- >See a bit of blood.
- >Without a second thought he jumps me.
- >Claws flying and scratching to hell and back.
- >Find an opening and push him back.
- >Try to throw in a punch, but he moves fast.
- >Just cannot seem to land a clean hit.
- >Lexa and her mom are begging us to stop.
- >They try to separate us, but her father throws out a quick slash towards his wife.
- >Scratching her deep and throwing her back.
- >Lexa screams.
- >I take the opportunity and get another solid lick in the stomach.
- >Cats may be fast, but they are fragile.
- > It seems like a good enough hit to make him drop to his knees.
- >Go to give him another.
- >My arm gets grabbed.
- >"Anon stop right now! You got him, just stop please!"
- >Look down to see him barely able to move.
- >Lexa's mom is crying on the floor, bleeding.
- >"Anon..."
- >She is right.
- >No need to kick a man while he is down, I am not like him.
- >No matter how much he deserves it.
- >Look over at Lexa and nod.
- >She pulls me into a hug.
- >As soon as I start to feel relaxed, I feel a bite on my shoulder.
- >Claws dig into my sides and I get pulled towards the ground.
- >Start to roll around to fight off the bastard.
- >After a bit of a struggle, I slip-free.
- >Bleeding pretty bad at this point.
- >Lexa's father found some balance and made his way into the kitchen.
- >Took the time to stand up myself.
- >See her father come back holding a large knife.
- >See him start to smile.
- >Goes on and on about finally getting rid of me.
- >Charges me with full force.
- >Try to dodge but he can keep up with me.
- >Clentch and brace for the impact.
- >Hear a yell.
- >Lexa had moved forward and clawed her dad in the face.
- >He dropped the knife.
- >She picked it up.
- >"You come nowhere near my husband again! I have the right mind to cut you clean!"
- >Uh oh.
- >Her father starts shouting at her.
- >Telling her to stop this and give him back the knife.
- >"No way in hell! You hurt me my entire life! Now I can get payback."
- >Charges forward.
- >Fear comes over her dad's face.
- >Quickly grab her.
- "Lexa please stop!"
- >We struggled for a bit.
- >Lexa slipped out of my grasp.
- >Without a second thought that knife flew.
- >Luckily her dad moved just in time.
- >"Squirly bastard."
- >She attempts another blow.
- >Decide to get in between them.
- "Put down the knife."
- >"Isn't this what you wanted? You were just talking about making him pay!
- "Not like this."
- >Her eyes
- > The only thing visible is the anger in them.
- >With every intention of seriously hurting her father.
- >We go back and forth.
- > Every time I talk I get a little closer.
- >Doesn't seem to notice.
- >Blind rage will do that to you.
- "What benefit would you get from killing him?"
- >Lexa pauses.
- >"Benefit? How about never having to deal with him again! He hurt me, you, and Mom. Look around and tell me he doesn't deserve it."
- >Take a minute to look around the room.
- >Lexa's mom was on the ground holding her face crying.
- >Her dad still standing in anticipation of another attack
- >Everything either toppled or broken.
- >I'm still covered in scratches and blood.
- "He has done horrible things in his life, but you would throwing yours away."
- >Her dad goes to chime in.
- >Saying that she should listen to me.
- >We both gave him a quick "shut up!"
- >"Just move."
- "No."
- >"Don't make me have to go through you."
- "You can try."
- >I can feel my heart pounding in my ears.
- >"Last chance."
- >Say nothing.
- >Lexa's dad speaks.
- >Ask why the hell I don't just let her do it, and why I am protecting him.
- "I am not protecting you. By all accounts, you DO deserve it."
- >He puts his head down.
- >"Fine. You made your choice."
- >She gets ready.
- >Hear a knock on the door.
- >Voice says its the local police.
- >Lexa gets distracted.
- >Quickly move and knock the knife from her paws.
- >Hear Lexa's mom yell out to come in.
- >Police bust open the door to find everyone and everything fucked up.
- >They demand answers.
- >One notices Lexa's father.
- >Gives him a salute.
- >Of course.
- >Go over everything that happened.
- >Notes are being frantically taken.
- >A medical team has also arrived to help with all wounds.
- >They ask Lexa's dad about me and why I was here.
- >Just stares at me.
- >Turns and gets my attention.
- >Bluntly ask why I stopped Lexa.
- >Before I had a chance to say anything, Lexa's mom practically yells from across the room.
- >Talks about the one thing that would have been seriously injured if she did, other then him.
- >A long pause.
- >Says he gets it.
- >Reaches into his pocket and tosses me something.
- >The collar.
- >Tells the officers that everything is fine. All charges are to be dropped.
- >And sys that if anyone asks just drop them his name.
- >Police agree and leave after making sure everyone was patched up.
- >I helped Lexa's dad flip the furniture back over so we could sit and talk.
- >Everyone looks around at each other for a long time.
- > It was not long before Lexa's dad broke the ice.
- >Proceeds to call me foolish.
- >Goes on and on with insults.
- >But after a long pause, he apologizes.
- >Everyone in the room simultaneously checked their ears.
- >Continues by saying that no one has ever had the guts to do what I did today.
- >And if he trusted anyone with his daughter, he his happy knowing it is someone willing to go the extra mile to protect her.
- >"We don't need your blessing."
- >Laughs.
- >Says she is right.
- >Turns over towards his wife and deeply apologizes, for everything.
- >Lexa's mom doesn't say anything.
- >He nods
- >Tells us that we should go.
- >Apparently he wants to talk to his wife in private.
- >Agree and leave.
- >Wrapped in bandages I go climbing into the driver's seat.
- >Get stopped by Lexa.
- >"Let me drive. Your hurt."
- >Smile.
- "Probably a good idea."
- >With a quick switch we left, not once looking back.
- >Arrive home.
- >Make my way into the bedroom and collapse unto the sheets.
- "Hello bed, I missed you."
- >Here a giggle in the back.
- "Is that sound of my wife I hear?"
- >"Maybe."
- "Why don't you came to bed, pretty sure you are DOG tired."
- >"I will reopen the wounds behind those bandages, mister!"
- >We both laugh.
- >She walks in, already disrobed down to her undergarments.
- >Slowly climbs into bed and just drops into the heaven of sheets and pillows.
- "Come her Lexa, I got something for you."
- >See an ear perk up as she scoots closer.
- >"What do you got me?"
- "Close your eyes."
- >She rolls them instead.
- >"This some kind of trick?"
- "Nope."
- >She closes them.
- >"Sure it isn't. The last time we did this you pulled out your di..."
- >I quickly slip the collar on.
- >Her eyes open and she grabs a hold of it.
- >See tears forming.
- >"Anon, you got it back."
- >She jumps up and embraces my chest.
- >Scream out in pain.
- >She realizes my wounds and jumps off.
- >"I'm so sorry!"
- >Laugh.
- "It's ok Lexa. It will all be ok."
