 >Just like that day.
    >The clouds are clear as I sit there.
    >I can remember her smile, the tinkle of the sugar cube.
    >She loved that place.
    >I loved her.
    >Time seemed to slow when I was with her.
    >All the people and their chatter, it flowed around us like water to a rock.
    >It felt like forever, those moments.
    >Just like that day.
    >The clouds are clear as I sit here.
    >Rounds kick up dirt around my foxhole.
    >Their crack, a distant shells boom.
    >I hate this place.
    >Why am I here?
    >Time seems to slow as I look above the lip.
    >All the guns are screaming, bullets flying all around me.
    >I feel like I'll be stuck here forever.
    >Just like that day.
    >Maybe I'll be with her.
