1.

Knuckles96, don't you love when people start pointless arguments with you and then don't understand your remarks?
2. Funny how you support knux vehemently even if you don't know what we're talking about.
3. You are arguing about the sudden spammers that hit your IRC channel/server which also hit Freenode/#moosader. You two are arguing about whether Erik spammed his own channel. You are also arguing over Knux's decision to change servers without the communities okay to do so.

 5. I was mainly remarking about the argument over knux's decision. I've seen it happen on the allegro site. In the end we had to accept the admins decision because he never did change his mind. They went from EFNET to Freenode.

 7. Knux has made it apparent he isn't going to change his mind on this. It would be easier to just change to the new server rather than keep asking to stay on the old one.

 9. The pending problem is that this issue could quickly go one of three ways: Knux comes around and stays at old one, every body goes to the new server (possibly losing some members who don't want to), or knux could get tired of this and decide to move on to other things and close the forums. Spammers are everywhere and changing servers won't make a difference in the long run. The spammers were just a bunch of idiots wanting to cause trouble and changing servers is just giving them the disruption they were aiming for. Changing servers really isn't that big a deal as you can have a post on here that shows the new server/channel and even have a bot or something in the old channel that gives /msg at time of channel join telling users of the new channel. Though I do think it would be better to stay on the server and channel as is because that will just show the spammers that they can't get to you. Or you could do what #moosader did after the attacks (depending on the servers features), she made it so you have to be registered on freenode and have +v to talk in the channel now (about the only thing you can do to battle spammers, otherwise Knux will be server jumping every few months if the spammers decide to hit again using proxies).

 11. Sorry I'm long winded (comes with age I suppose).
