  1. Hey guys,
  2.
  3. In order to save up for my college year, I will be doing an event called the "Shiru week" (very original name), where I'll be streaming for 8-10 hours a day from July 21 to the 26th. This is similar to a "sellout week" or "sellout stream" that some streamers do, except donations/subs will not have any benefit. Sounds dull, I know, but I've always said that I am fortunate enough to be able to go find a job and stay there for as much as I want as long as I get involved, so I find it unfair to get paid this way.
  4.
  5. That week will be all about grinding for a good time in Pokémon Sapphire. if I meet my goal in the middle of it, we'll go for a 2:29 in Emerald, which is something I'm really excited about, despite being very happy with my current run. I just think that category can go lower and I want to be the first one who meets that time.
  6.
  7. I'm thinking the way this is going to work is as follows: morning stream (CET time): 9 AM to 2 PM, and then 4 PM to 9 PM, with just a break to have food and then be back at it. This may vary depending on whether I am in a run at, say 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. In that case, I'll probably be back at 4:30 PM.
  8.
  9. During this event, there will be a donation goal that will reflect the money I need for a college year: roughly €2,300 ($2,595). By no means do I expect for this goal to be met, so do not feel forced to be generous or anything like that. Nevertheless, every penny will be appreciated.
  10.
  11. Streams will be back on July 16th before this event. So hopefully I see you there. Otherwise fuck you.
  12.
  13.
  14. Thank you for your attention,
  15. Shiru
  16.
  17. PS: If somehow the goal is met I will show my appreciation with another event. I know I said there is literally no benefit to donating, but I don't want to just go away with your money either.
