  1. Ziggy’s Records was opened outside of the Amherst College campus in the year 1972 by owner Ziggy Ransome. Though it was virtually unknown for months, it eventually became a popular hang out for all ages, but mostly the students on campus that needed a little release with music. Genre sections of all types are frequented from the unique group of customers that enters the store on an almost daily basis. The new music pops up once a week but the customers couldn’t resist listening to an old track or reading a book and drinking coffee while the others moved around them under the dull hum of the intercom music.

  3. After the beloved owner died mysteriously earlier in the year, the store closed for a small amount of time for new management to take over. When the students returned to campus in the fall, the store was completely redone and everyone was devastated to see their favorite hangout turned into an over the top, corporate music store.

  5. Sixteen college students, most of which have never talked to each other, have banded together to restore Ziggy’s to its original ‘home sweet home’ feel that Ziggy boasted about at every opportunity and try to find out just how Ziggy died. Although they might not agree on everything, they all agree that the reason they survived most of their colleges years is because they felt welcome at Ziggy’s when the world was treating them badly or school work was becoming too much. They’re not ready for the change and they’ll be damned if they see the store be pulled down for something more modern and hip.

  7. -Ziggy’s Records is an 8x8 original character role play centered around a music store on the campus of Amheart College where students could spend their downtime and just be themselves. When an unexpected death happens, students band together to figure out how to restore Ziggy’s to its natural state and just how the beloved owner died, be it natural causes or murder.
