- ufostrats
- Kogasa:
- 1st non: from lower slipper to skirtline = safe (=tongue line to purple line on dialogue)
- - Alignment visual cue if you miss kogasa:
- - Vertical = Between cloud and pink line,
- - Horizontal = left/middle of gohei's most left knot thing
- 1st spell: As long as you're above her lowest ankle you're ok
- Ichirin Midboss spell:
- - Sit just within the ring with your hitbox during dialogue for speedkill positioning
- King Kraken Strike:
- - 2 to 3 waves with good RNG
- - Fist + Movement order: She moves from right->left between 3rd and 4th fist, and left->right on 2nd fist
- - Proactively moving back to the right in case of a wall is a good idea and doesn't hurt DPS too much (can still 2-wave even)
- Sinkable Vortex:
- - Fluctuates a lot, you're generally able to dodge it so be patient
- - On first wave, give yourself space to move with Murasa as quick as possible. After that, use your "LoLK" movement knowledge.
- - How to deal with cancel glitch:
- - If you cancel it at the end of a spawning wave or at the beginning, it won't happen --> actually, cancel 0.5 secs after the bulletspawns hit the edges.
- - Make sure the last bullets aren't horizontal/far diagonal.
- - If it does happen, don't worry. It's generally not a huge danger.
- - Dududu to cancel: about 1.4 seconds (so 1 second + reaction time + cancel margin)
- When you hear dududu, shoot 1 more second
- Stage 5:
- - Don't try to kill both red+pink fairies. Just kill 1. ez enough and could save you an ufo
- - You can speedkill the right redline fairy and then not have the death arrowhead pop up. I think it's better to just learn how to always dodge that death arrowhead.
- Greatest Treasure:
- -- This Card really seems to be about "how much information can you suck up and how quick can you do it". It's sexy af reading.
- - Don't bottomhug! Biggest mistake. You want to start a little higher and then use a column to dodge in.
- - Not moving TOO eccentrically seems to help? Kinda hard to guess though.
- - On blue waves, try a quickread to right laser, then left laser, and THEN dodge right laser
- - (ReimuA) If the dings of 3rd wave didn't appear yet when you start hearing "dududu" you can speedkill it
- Shityangs:
- - Start a little higher on the left, horseshoe down, focus(?) under the bottom right yang
- First non:
- - Remember the laser angles
- - You can read where the red lasers are at the very top. From there you can also tell somewhat where they end up.
- Radiant Treasure Gun:
- - Read ahead, don't bottomhug too much on that second wave until the laser comes
- Shou Second Non:
- You can read the lasers super far ahead before they curve: about the 7th laser tends to be the important one
- - Reading the one on the right seems to be easier, as when you read the left one you gotta pay attention to the right anyways
- AoJ:
- see AOJstrats.txt
- - If an arrowhead wave is below the highest "red" in the overlay on the right when the first laser indicators spawn, you HAVE to deal with it
- Vajra:
- - Deal a bit of damage on that first spin
- - The more the 5th circle goes to the top left, the more time you have to deal damage
- - If it's on the left half you should generally have enough time. On right half it's better to do an additional spin.
- General tip for all waves: The "Chase" vajra should be pushed as far as possible, the "Hold" vajra should NOT be pushed too far.
- CC:
- - Fuck shou
- - Try to get into big gaps instead of staying close to bullet peaks
- - Avoid being close to folds, they're the ones that can really omnifuck you.
- - Maybe look into "farfolds" and how to deal with those?
- Nueball 2:
- 1st & 2nd wave can be done in middle or something idk they're easy
- 3rd wave: there's a point where 3 bullet lines cross (like this \|/), go to the RIGHT of that.
- A 4th bullet line will pop up that tries to push you back to the middle, go to the RIGHT of that one and you're set 99% of the time.
- 4th wave: vice versa of 3rd wave.
- Good Omen:
- - 3 to 4 waves with good RNG
- - 6 fireball lines per wave
- - 4 droplet lines per wave
- - last 3 or 2 fireball waves succeed each other VERY quickly so be prepared for that!
- - last 4 droplet lines are exact echos of first 2 lines!!!
- - Quickread fireballs, find a safespot for them, read droplets after that.
- If you get pushed away by droplets try to find a spot where you only have to dodge 1 fireball line.
- - If second fireball wave blocks off gaps of 1st wave try go get around 2nd fireball of 1st wave
- If drops are spread: find fireball gap and just dodge the droplets
- If drops are dense: dodge fireballs with 0/1wave strat
- - Old Strat: Quickread droplet lines when they spawn, make sure you don't have to dodge them until byakuren moves
- - Old: If Byaks moves left, move WITH the fireball lines (I think?)
- - Old: If Byaks moves right move against the fireballs (aka "normal" dodging)
- Laser trash non:
- Move on 3rd laser sound, keep moving.
- For old strat: Don't let the fireballs move slightly diagonal. Either full diagonal (sitting on the side where lasers will be shot at) or in the middle. Don't get stuck inbetween!
- Makai Butterfly:
- - Check replay for route
- Milky Way:
- - takes about 9 "star" shots, can get much more though
- - Stay around "white ring" height
- - Read lasers more than stars, you wanna read the relevant lasers pretty much as soon as they spawn
- Devils Recitation:
- - Bubbles for timing: 9 for 2nd phase, 13 for 3rd phase, 20 for final phase, RNG after that (about 26)
- - Remember that bubbles are fucking tiny in this game: if you don't touch the void you're fine.
- - MD bubbles to the side a little bit: they're slightly less ass if they're not in the middle.\
- - Read the glowy fallbullets ahead! Like when they're above Hijiri! Most important part of card tbh.
- Legendary Flying Saucer:
- - First purple phase needs to be MD'd (so start MD during second yellow amulets)
- - Learn where all the crushes and the T-waves are.
- - Card dies on 5th red wave.
- - This is also right after a t-wave, this also means that you have about 2 seconds of playtime before the next crush appears,
- so if you need time to go to the sides for ez dodging (especially on t-waves), just do it!
