- 5-6. High House: Roll on High Houses and move to Gifts.
- HIGH HOUSES: Allows the player a Family Gift that they can choose to take in lieu of their birth gift. If they choose not to take the gift, then their birth gift gets a bonus of +1
- 1-3 Undefined: Roll a single Gift, and that is the Family Gift. If it is Flame, Charm, or Geas, then the character is instead a Catastra, Nirnat, or Primm child.
- 4-6. Celeste: Number chooses their Family Gift roll. (4: Level 2 Gift, 5: Level 3 Gift, 6: Level 4 Gift.)
- 7-8. Primm: If 7, the Family Gift is the Gift of Charm. If 8, the Birth Gift roll gets a bonus of +2
- 9. Nirnat: The Family Gift is Geas.
- 10. Catastra: The Family Gift is Flame.
- FLEDGELING: Witch-related common knowledge rolls are made at a -2.
- 1. Izatti: No -2 to common knowledge rolls. Izatti is natural language.
- 2. Skiitara: Roll d6. If 5-6, Princeps. Skiitaran is natural language. If female, roll d100. If 100, you are the imperial princess.
- 3. Triumvir: Roll d3. If 3, Royal Family. Skiitaran is natural language.
- 4-6. Free Cities: Nothing notable. Veldaran is natural language.
- 7. Atlask: Riding counts as 'already trained' during advances. Roll d6 for natural language. If 6, Izatti. If 5, Edgardian. if 1-4, Veldaran.
- 8. Edgardian: Repair counts as 'already trained' during advances. Edgardian is natural language. True name is a secret, names self a non-name.
- 9. Veldarus: Alchemy counts as 'already trained' during advances. Roll a d6. If 1, the player may start with the Order Doctrine hinderance.
- 10. Kalid: Roll d6. If 1-5, from the Dominion. If 6, from Kalid proper. Maximum of 3 gifts, but can learn wizardry. Kalid is natural language.
- GIFTS: Roll d20. d18 for Birth Gifts. If someone gets the same Gift as they had before, reroll with an additional +1.

- 7-11. Level 2 gift.
- 12-15 Level 3 gift.
- 16-18. Level 4 gift.
- 19. Level 5 gift. These are uniformly nobilis level, and once you get a Level 5, you may not get another.
- 20+. Unique Gift. You may only have one custom gift, so reroll. If you eventually reach +20 without getting new gifts, you automatically get a Level 5 gift.
- FAMILIAR TYPE:
- 1. Small: The creature is either naturally small, like a bird or snake, or it has been shrunk down to a small size or age, like a bear cub or puppy.
- 2-4. Generic: The familiar is normally sized.
- 5. Large: The familiar is either naturally large enough to ride, or it has grown to a large size, like a spider large enough to ride.
- 6. Nobilis: You get a unique, supernatural creature. Roll on the NOBILIS table.
- FAMILIAR: All of this is rather optional, and is in no way complete. Roll d10 to find out what creature. Ones marked with asteriks are nobilis, and one must roll a d6 and get a 6 in order to acquire it.
