  1. Mad Dog (MYM25, UserShadow) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/17uJgXCq6WoLG9cKa78syCUSUA6E-XgLUzH0E82fDCjc/edit
  2.
  3. While I gather more, Mad Dog was a set I rather enjoyed last contest (and which got 45th on the Top 50) which had a lot of gunplay and projectile-y standards and stuff.
  4.
  5. W (MYM24, ForwardArrow) - https://smashboards.com/threads/make-your-move-24-moveset-design-contest-%E2%80%94-congrats-to-our-top-50-this-contest-is-officially-dead%E2%84%A2-tune-in-march-10-for-our-next-installment.512373/page-2#post-24395942
  6.
  7. My personal favorite from FA's stacked MYM24 that did very well (11th) without being as long as sets of his like Belzeb or Baobhan (although you might wanna read Belzeb for obvious character reasons). W was a very direct set in a way you might find appealing, Insult to Injury was a well explored mechanic and it has very high end melee.
  8.
  9. Tsukumo Sana (MYM25, Bubby) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/18daNRazQId4HNV62FIbR9XdF1gP-jDlfewSjMxQxSf8/edit
  10.
  11. Considered Bubby's best set, did well on the latest Top 50 (26th), and a personal favorite of mine. Bubby has a VERY easy-to-read writing style and this set isn't like some of the later ones in length so I would definitely recommend checking this one out. Might be one of the best ones to grab for things like how to handle stats. Fun set with some size shifting gimmicks to it. Also AFAIK a character you'd likely enjoy.
  12.
  13. Sam Fisher (MYM25, Rychu) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vi00mNtI8C2LS8UulhaJgdX7cDIhFBkscc4F0bohKXk/edit
  14.
  15. Had one of the swankiest presentations in the entire contest, it might not translate well for a more standardized organization but certainly could get those gears turning. The Snake-esque gameplay might be of use, too? Did well thanks to a late push (27th) and was a set me/Slavic/Nate particularly championed.
  16.
  17. Valkyrie (MYM25, ForwardArrow) - https://smashboards.com/threads/make-your-move-25-moveset-design-contest-%E2%80%94-contest-is-donezo-mym-26-starts-march-17th.517275/page-3#post-24678380
  18.
  19. FA's latest set that did very well (14th) with a modest word count. Ended up inspiring a lot of people that contest, most prominently myself who made an echo fighter of the set for a random Fate enemy because lol. Nicely sized set with a fun Team Rocket Grunt-style trio mechanic and some graceful melee. Caused FA to despair with how well it did when he was just making a four day set for lulz.
  20.
  21. Crewmate (MYM25, Arctic Tern) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQIQMMpIy1IBmfkbl0_iaOxuD7vYbGusTViNVvH4W8FY7VdqQh_uvY5RLd6ASJftjRB5jYk44j2SOGm/pub
  22.
  23. amogus
  24.
  25. More seriously, rather unique minion set by potent newcomer Arctic Tern that uses a minion in a somewhat Ice Climber-y way as well. Had a lot of cool moves for how difficult it is to make a good Among Us Bean set. Also has multiple projectile normals (Forward Smash, Up Smash, Down Tilt).
  26.
  27. Oono Tsukuyo (MYM25, Katapultar) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y_OUjSzoPuRxvFYcpRiCyesEtZnvSv4n5Lhx7nrqVFw/edit
  28.
  29. One of the highest rated sets on this reading list (6th) and my top set of MYM25. The shuriken is a really cool, multifaceted tool with a lot of uses in the set, there's really awesome mechanics like the tree costume shielding, and it in general does a lot of layered building of mechanics and direct fighting that hit really well.

  33. (Note: All of the sets below are 20,000 or more words)
  34.
  35. Mami Tomoe (MYM23, Slavic) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/18ob6mzEF2u25qa0mLk7GK16FM1W04Ez-dsfyrHzMifc/edit
  36.
  37. One of Slavic's definitive sets, was a major breakthrough for them (7th) and is still one of their more beloved. Features elegant melee and gunplay with a very smooth style to it, might be notably good to look at organizationally.
  38.
  39. Hol Horse (MYM22, FrozenRoy) - https://smashboards.com/threads/make-your-move-22-moveset-design-contest-top-50-released-new-sets-go-in-mym23.483684/page-3#post-23614046
  40.
  41. A longer set out of these, but it did VERY well (2nd place) and it has a lot of gunplay projectile normals (such as Jab, Up Tilt and Up Smash) which might be of appeal to you.
  42.
  43. Goro Akechi (MYM25, Nate) - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xnb1-XAIO4_N6-eWSaWaMgCdupZFUxE7l3p2JRvAIXw/edit
  44.
  45. Highly popular set from Nate (12th) with a breezy, easy-reading moveset. Rather cool Persona mechanic attached to it, I loved the melee of the set, and Nate has a very swanky style that might be useful for stuff like the stats you were talking about.
