Background:
Maiko's family had always been a huge fan of sports, hence her parents were really supportive of her older Brother, Rin, in his passion for Swimming and sent Maiko for skating classes, causing her to pick up ice hockey at an early age.
With her Mother working as a civil servant and her Father a business man, Maiko's parents were hardly ever at home spending time with Maiko and Rin. Hence, the siblings' relationship was really good and they did everything together for their first 10 years together.
However, when Rin turned 13, Maiko 10, he received a scholarship to a swim school in Australia which Rin readily accepted with the support of their parents, leaving Maiko alone to fend for herself.
With Rin gone, Maiko spent most of her time after school in the skating rink a train stop away from their home. She then started picking up figure skating, which she fell head over heels in love with and then fell in love with dancing. Despite her parents' disapproval to anything that had to do with the performing arts, Maiko went on with her passion and learnt how to dance through her friends in school and from street dancers. When Maiko finally turned 18, she decided to move to Korea with the little savings she had from various part time jobs and money from her swimmer Brother and started going for auditions at her dream entertainment, Music K. After two years of trying out for it, she was then finally accepted as a trainee to Music K at 20.

Personality:
Maiko is really awkward when it comes to conversations with people, but gets really wild and loud after a few minutes of getting to know you, probably being the most fun or nuisance you'll ever get in your lifetime.
Maiko hates losing and will continue trying for something until she succeeds no matter the amount of support she gets or the physical or emotional pain she goes through. This causes her to be seen as a little too hotheaded at times and overly competitive, which scares some away quite easily, usually pretty scared of her competitors too, making them think that she's just being cold when she really wants to talk to them but doesn't know how to approach them.
However, if she is extremely close to you and treasures her relationship with you, she turns into a huge softie that would do anything to ensure your comfort and happiness, which sometimes results in physical fights with people that try to get in your way, getting her into a lot of trouble.

On-stage personality:
Either really cool and and sexy, shooting sexy looks all over the place and perfecting the dance moves to the best of her abilities, or cute and clumsy, fooling around on stage and giving away loads of hearts from anywhere at all and tripping on anything, with not in between XDD

Off-stage personality:
Striking conversations with her group mates and being the crazy her when it starts just her group and the production team with her, but gets really shy and quiet around the other trainees, talking to them only when approached.

If a trainee has been eliminated, how would your you react?: I would be sympathetic and talk to them and give them lots of hugs before they leave but is secretly quite happy that it wasn't me that was eliminated.

Do you expect yourself to be a part of the final line up? Why?: Erm... I'd expect myself to at least not be eliminated the first few eliminations, but not really all the way to the final line up. I feel that I'm pretty good at what I do, but not the best and can't really do anything else but dance well and so most likely wouldn't reach the end because of that.

What makes you a unique person?: I... like food that people don't..? XDD I guess I'm unique cause I'm not special in anyway:):)

Why should you be a part of the final line-up?: Because I really hope to be able to reach the top to prove to people like me that don't have born talents that people that have the determination and want to get what they want can do it too:):)
