Chapter 38-Part 1

Two days later, I enter homeroom.

The class looked at me, including Ms. Buckets, who was surprisingly early.

"O-ohayou...", I said, confused.

Ms. Buckets asked me, "Do you know what happened to Abe-kun?

This confused me for two reasons: One, he rarely attended class at all, especially after the "punishment" no one dared to talk about upon his return, and two, no one in our class knows him that well.

"A-ano, he was with me on Saturday!", Tsundere-kun speaks up.

"Aw, why didn't y'all invite me? I woulda left the tra-I mean, the comic book store earlier.", Tomboy-kun lied to cover up his tracks.

"Now is not the time!", both the teacher and twintails shouts at him in unison.
