STAGE PERSONA: jaewoo wants to give the impression of someone cold and serious, so he does just that hshshhsshs. he ensures that his movements are clean and his lines are delivered nicely. with that, he stands out the most during performances but not to the point where his presence is overwhelming. he can’t control his facial expressions well, so you’d immediately know he did something wrong when he suddenly grimaces.

CAMERA PERSONA:
jaewoo is all smiles and laughter in front of the camera. people automatically assume that he’s a cold person because of his image during stage performances, so his warm personality often catches them off guard.

but he is as much kind as he is professional. he heard about idols falling from grace because of unintentional blunders. he doesn’t want the next one so he thoroughly thinks over his words before speaking.

jaewoo is a worrywart when it comes to their group’s image. he would scold his members when they fool around too much and ask the editors to blur their faces when they do something weird (which usually ends up with him being the one blurred out).

LIVE PERSONA: knowing that the people watching are just his fans and group members, jaewoo loosens up a bit. he‘s more brotherly and affectionate in vlives, constantly backhugging the members and playfully puckering his lips for a kiss. he also teases them a lot and makes weird faces just to annoy them. the fans call him kindergartener jeon because of that.

FUN FACTS:
- jaewoo wishes to travel the world someday.
- he expresses his feelings through dance. if he thinks the food is delicious, he’ll do a little happy dance.
- his favorite girl groups are twice and unlucky.

HOW YOU MEET:
they first met when jaewoo was a trainee. she was struggling with the vending machine and he went to help her. they started meeting eachother more after that and their encounters were always related with vending machines.

RELATIONSHIP:
after the last vending machine incident, jaewoo wanted to be friends with sooyoung because “three coincidences means fate is at play” or whatever bs his brother managed to convince jaewoo with. the two became bffs and people would wonder if they’re soulmates because of how well they fit eachother. jaewoo realized much later that he liked sooyoung (maybe after debut?). she was fixing his makeup after a performance and jaewoo just confessed on the spot. sooyoung rejected him because what would people think if a guy like jaewoo was with someone like sooyoung? but of course, jaewoo refused to give up and was so adamant on making her fall in love with him.

TRIVIA:
- sooyoung is six years older than jaewoo. jaewoo’s siblings don’t like that he’s with an older woman, but he doesn’t care.
- jaewoo leaves a lot of sticky notes on sooyoung’s belongings. most of them being reminders of things that she might forget and cheesy pickup lines.
- sooyoung has never said “i love you” to jaewoo. she wants to wait for the right moment because she knows how much weight those words carry.
- jaewoo has a thing going on for sooyoung’s beauty marks. he always has the urge to kiss the beauty marks on her face and neck.
- sooyoung was bullied a lot for being ugly when she was young so she went under cosmetic surgery to live “normally” but even after undergoing surgery, people still ridiculed her.
- after she got to know jaewoo, she slowly recovered her self-esteem.
