  1. How to install Gmod Spacebuild in 7 easy steps!

  4. 1) Start by installing tortoise svn or a svn program of your choice. When you create a folder, right click is and select the svn checkout
  5.  
  6. option.
  7.  
  8. 2) The First SVN folder needs to be placed in your:
  9.  
  10. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\yoursteamname\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons
  11.  
  12. Name it PHX3. This is the basic building pack for gmod. the svn link is here:

  16. It need a username and password, they will both be "anonsvn". This goes for any svn that needs a password or username in these instructions.

  18. 3) Visit the following website and get the svns for "Custom Addon Framework", "SpaceBuild 3", "Resource Distribution 3",

  20. "Life Support 3 Core", "Life Support 3 Entities", "Gas Systems 2", "Resource Transit System for RD3", "Petrol Systems", and "Black Hole Cache"
  21.

  24. These should all go in the addons directory.

  26. 4) This svn folder will be in your addons directory.

  28. Name it Wire mod temp. This will let you wire objects together in complex systems. The svn link is here:

  32. After the download completes, move the following folders from
  33.  
  34. "[all your folders]\garrysmod\addons\wiremodCO" to "[all your folders]\garrysmod\addons":

  36. wire, wire model pack 1, Adv Duplicator
  37.  
  38. Delete the folder "[all your folders]\garrysmod\addons\wire mod temp".
  39.  
  40. (Don't worry, svn puts database files in each folder to keep track of things,
  41.  
  42. you don't need the original wire mod temp in order to continue using SVN)
  43.  
  44. 5) To obtain the Space Ship Models, create an svn folder named "SBEP temp" in your addons folder and use this svn link for it.

  48. In the same fashion as wiremod, MOVE, not copy paste, MOVE, the files inside the "SBEP temp" folder into the addons folder.

  50. 6) Now that you're done with the svns, there are a few other tools and maps you should download.

  52. They are at the following link. These files will all be put into your garrysmods base folder.
