you can go 1/3 imp heroic and 2/2 imp taunt if you want, it's good especially in mc where you can taunt everything

and you can go 3/5 iron will instead of 3/5 toughness for random resists on lava packs and stuff

no because at that point in the fight your threat doesn't matter 99% of the time
keeping aggro is mostly about the first 10 seconds
dealing with the small sample size and the fact that there's 20 furies hitting the boss and 1 tank
at least 1 of those 20 is going to get luckier than you and crit more and miss less
but after the first 10 or 15 seconds the rng will even out a bit and you'll pull ahead in threat
so by the time you're at execute phase, your threat doesn't matter anyways
also, in mc, you get like 1 or 2 executes on bosses other than rag. if you're tanking, you should pool rage on trash rather than executing it

for itemizing, i kinda changed my mindset in aq and on
before that, i was just picking threat items like a fury would pick dps items
but i realized ap really doesn't do much for you

i think double felstrikers will be the best setup before thunderfury
it depends on their procrate but if 1 of them procs at the start, you are guaranteed to have aggro
no other weapon can do that

i think ed is a bit too slow of a weapon without its proc though, so even if it has a great procrate i think it's not good for tanks
i think ironfoe proc is op and bursty enough to make it worth using still if its procrate is very high
but yeah if any of the proc weapons are op then it's hard to beat them

and the proc is insane when it happens
so even if the procrate is low i think they'll be good
