Covet: Eli was standing at the counter tapping a pencil on the counter trying to come up with a name for the event next week so he could get the flyer going for it. His mind was dead for ideas, mostly fried from all the writing and drawing he'd done over the weekend. He looked up seeing a few people around the shop and went back to staring at the pad an paper before him with ideas scribbled out on it.-

Alexithymiaa: -Adam walked out from the back room, rubbing his hand up over his hair because it was fluffy and he needed a haircut. Moving up behind the counter, he laid his hands down on the surface in front up, turning his head to look at Eli. "You look perplexed."-
Mithrandir: ((Hey!  I just loaded in so I may have missed any posts))
Tsaaq: Bliss had been talking to customers and organizing some comics, basically busying herself so she didn't have to seem like anything was wrong. She looked over at the counter where Eli and Adam had been then turned around, beginning to alphabetize the comics needlessly.
Tsaaq: ((You did but it's just people just standing and doing stuff I guess.))

Musik: -Harper climbed out of her jeep, closing her jacket and wrapping her arms around her middle because it was fuckin cold. She walked quickly up to the building, pulling the door open and stepping inside. She looked around and spotted Adam, smiling slightly and walking over to him and Eli.- "Hey guys."
Covet: I am perplexed. I'm trying to put together a good name for the event next week, and I'm completely brain dead here. -he told him then looked up to see Bliss out on the floor. His attention turned to Harper as she came up to join them- Hey Harper, how are you doing?
Alexithymiaa: "Oh... what's the theme, maybe I can help?" He raised his brows and shifted to lean his elbow down on the counter, lowering his torso slightly so he wasn't standing so unevenly. When Harper joined them at the front counter, his face lit up, smiling over at her. "Hey love."-
Mithrandir: Outside of the shop Jamie takes a step back, peering up at the sign to make sure he’s actually in the right stop.  Once satisfied that he won’t be making a fool of himself he pushes the door open, stepping in and out of the cold.  His hair is still damp from a recent shower and some of the curled tendrils stick to his neck and the side of his face.  He takes a moment to look around and hopefully find Adam.  After spotting him he approaches casually, coming to stand near the opposite couch.  “Hey there.  Hope I’m not too late."
Tsaaq: She crouched down before hearing the sound of the door opening. "Hello." She waved at Harper with faux enthusiam. She turned around once more going back to reorganizing until she heard another person come in. Bliss quickly moved from the racks towards the male. "Hello, welcome to Between The Panels, do you need any help?" She asked him quickly.
Musik: -She smiled at Adam and looked at Eli.- "For the first time in awhile I'm actually good. How're you?" -She asked him, turning to look at the guy Bliss was talking to, returned Bliss' wave before turning back to the guys.-
Covet: It's off the page, any book character. I don't know what movies to play either...there are a lot of good choices, and do we want to make it semi-romantic for Valentines, even though it will be after? -Eli sighed an ran a hand through his hair leaning back, watching Bliss go over to the new guy who came in.-  I'm alright. Just creatively blocked right now.
Alexithymiaa: "Pretty good. Uh... Off The Page sounds like a pretty good event name to me. I don't think I'd be able to think of anything more applicable to the theme. As for movies to play... well... you can never go wrong with a classic. Or I guess something to do with Valentines day. The girls like all those Nicholas Sparks books..." He couldn't help, but roll his eyes because fuck Sparks. He directed his attention to Jamie when he came in, sending him a friendly nod. "Hey. Jamie, this is Eli, he runs this place. Guys, this is Jamie. He's the new resident at the house."-
Mithrandir: He gives a quick nod and a bit of an awkward smile to the girl who’d greeted him.  “Ah, no uh..”  He points to Adam briefly.  “Adam told me to stop by.  Thanks, though.”  He looks back to the one familiar face in the room, nodding a bit before he speaks.  “Awesome, yeah.”  He turns towards Eli and steps forward, extending his hand.  “I’m Jamie.  It’s nice to meet you.  Adam said you might be hiring."
Tsaaq: Bliss nodded her head. "Oh... Alright." She said flatly. "Don't bastardize the concept of dedicating a night to literature with trite sensationalism." She said in a monotone to Eli. "Movies you can show: The Great Gatsby, Schindler's List, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Of Mice And Men, The Graduate, American Psycho, The Godfather... A lot of movies were books first." She listed succintly. "And that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there's many more."
Alexithymiaa: (We cant show the great gatsby because I refuse to listen to Bliss quote it all night.)
Tsaaq: ((But then Remy would come.))
Tsaaq: ((And he'd cry in the bathroom.))

Musik: -She looked between the two of them, shrugging.- "It doesn't -have- to be romanticish. Valentines day is overrated, so I mean having an event themed around it isn't all that serious, is it?" -She asked with a raise of her brows, turning to look at the guy again as Adam introduced him.- "Oh a new one? Sweet....I'm Harper." -She said sending Jamie a awkward wave.-

Alexithymiaa: "I'm inclined to agree with Bliss..." He started in, his eyes jumping to her face for a quick instant before looking back to Eli. "I've never seen A Clockwork Orange, or read the book...."-

Mithrandir: After offering what he hoped was a decently firm handshake Jamie leans back to take a quick look at the application.  “Sure.  I can do that, no problem.”  He turns slightly in order to see both Eli and the three on the couches.  He nods to Harper.  “Sorry I turned away while you introduced yourself.”  The corner of his lip quirks up.  “Jamie.”  His attention falls back to Eli after a moment and he waits for a pause in the conversation to speak.  “Mind if I stick around for a bit?  Get a feel for the store?"

Tsaaq: "Yes, because I'm right." Bliss murmured quietly to herself. She crossed her arms over her chest and stayed silent a moment. "Off the Page is just fine." She grumbled and looked around a moment. "I have to clean something." Bliss whispered as she went to turn away from the group.
Tsaaq: ((It's by his bed.))
Musik: -She nodded to him and looked at the three of them while they talked, swinging her legs back and forth slightly turning her head to look at Bliss, furrowing her brows. She slid off the stool and followed after her.- "Hey what's up?"
Covet: Not at all Man, Feel free to check everything out. If you've got any questions we'd be happy to help you out. -Eli told Jamie with a polite smile, then gave a sigh at Bliss seeing her walk away, then felt a little better that Harper went after her. He wrote the title on the notepad in front of him along with the movie titles to have for the flyer.-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam's eyes followed Bliss when she walked away, giving a small sigh. "I think she's still annoyed with me..." Brushing his hand over his sleeve to push the fabric up his arm, he directed his attention to Jamie. "This place is pretty cool. We've got everything. Comics, merch, table top games, video games... Eli runs a great place."-
Mithrandir: Jamie turns his neck this way and that, actually taking time to check out the shop now.  “Yeah, it looks pretty neat and colorful.”  He chuckles and shakes his head.  “Sorry, I’ve never been super into comics or anything but an ex of mine really was and my dad writes some table top so I know more than I probably would otherwise.”  He frowns a bit and looks to Eli, appearing slightly worried.  “I can totally learn though."
Tsaaq: She stopped midstep when she heard the other female's voice. Bliss bit the inside of her lower lip and glanced over at Harper. "Oh, um, nothing... I was just about to clean something. Anything." She answered her with a firm nod. "Nothing exciting." Bliss trailed off awkwardly.
Musik: "You seem upset.." -She said slipping her hands into her pockets, chewing on her cheek.- "Wanna talk?"
Covet: -Eli gave a light chuckle- Thanks Adam, I wouldn't have any of this if it wasn't for Monica backing it all, and the help Bliss, You and the other employees put in. -He glanced at Jamie and gave a nod- Hey, if you know tabletop, that's more than I know. Comics are my niche, but we wanted to make sure to cater to all levels of geekdom here. It's pretty easy to pick up as you go.
Alexithymiaa: "Definitely catering to all levels of geekdom, as you put it." He started to laugh, probably a little too enthusiastically and slowly lowering his volume to an awkward fade. "Uh... yeah. It's cool here. And we can always teach you about any stuff you don't know."-
Mithrandir: Jamie grins, giving a small shrug.  “It’s the one area where I guess I am slightly geeky.  He used me as a guinea pig for a bunch of his settings.  I enjoy the face-to-face-ness of it.  I could never get into staring at a screen.  I mean…other than netflix.”  He chuckles, shaking his head as he does.  “No, yeah.  That’d be good.  What’s this uh movie thing you guys were talking about when I came in?"
Tsaaq: Bliss darted her eyes around a moment then shrugged her shoulders. "Talk? In general? Sure." She said awkwardly. "I'm not upset actually. I'm faring pretty well."
Musik: "Are you sure? Because you can like.. Talk to me or whatever..If you need or y'know..want to.." -She said akwardly because she's not fuckin' good at this shit.-
Covet: We actually do a Cosplay event every month. We show a movie, and have popcorn, everyone's encouraged to dress up for the Event. We've done, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars, Video Games, and now we're doing one off of books.  -he told Jamie, giving him the general info- The date for the next one is on the 16th, I'll have flyers out tomorrow for it.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, it's pretty fun every month. Pretty much everyone dresses up and gets really into it." He smiled, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "There's always a big turn out."-
Mithrandir: “Ah cool!”  He raises his eyebrows, appearing genuinely interested.  “That sounds like a lot of fun.  And you get a good turnout?"
Tsaaq: She stared at Harper with a straight face the blinked slowly. Bliss plastered a grin on her face. "That's great, Harper but I'm fine." She waved her hand at her. "My therapy is cleaning, I help everyone else. That's how it goes." She told her, patting the air near Harper's shoulder cause touching people, no.
Musik: -She pressed her lips together nodding her head slightly.- "Right.. Okay. Well I'll..let ya clean. But I'm here. You know where I live." -She awkwardly laughed because that was supposed to be funny I guess. She turned on her heels and slowly walked back over to the guys, standing next to Adam.-
Covet: Typically yeah. Bliss does a phenomenal job at setting up events. Sometimes we have prizes to raffle off for best costume. I neglected that last month though. -Eli said rubbing the back of his neck- But nobody seemed to mind. I'll make sure to reinstitute it this time around.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, that would be cool to do this month. I have to think about what I'm going to cosplay." He slipped his arm around Harper's back, looking down into her face. "Any ideas?"-
Mithrandir: “You could do like a puppy kissing booth or something.  For valentine’s day.”  He looks to Adam, his brow furrowing slightly in question.  “You said the house has a lot of dogs, right?  And I have mine.  She’ll make out with anyone."
Tsaaq: Bliss forced a laugh. "That's very nice of you but I'll be okay." She said with a nod before going into the back to get her cleaning things and coming back to the counter, setting them down as she got her gloves and face mask on. "Excuse me." She said softly to Eli as she went to spray the counter and stuff.
Musik: -She leaned against his side, tipping her head back to look at him.- "What? Ideas? Oh.. I don't know." -She shook her head a little, looking at Jamie.- "A pig kissing booth would be more adorable than a puppy."
Covet: Hmm, perhaps. But then again if it's after valentines day, I don't want to up the romatic stuff too much just for that sake. We could make it a Pet Kissing booth. If we were to do such things.  -Eli said then heard Bliss, giving her a polite smile, leaning back and out of her way- Bliss, This is Jamie, he's going to be putting in an application. Jamie, this is Bliss, without her I'd probably lose my mind. -he said giving her a soft smile-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam shifted out of the way to let Bliss through, keeping his arm loosely draped around Harper. "That's a cute idea. Everyone loves pets. And I know a lot of people came here without theirs and would appreciate getting to spend some time with others." Glancing at the time, he dropped his eyes to Harper. "You almost ready to head out?"-
Mithrandir: “I dunno if it would fit with your theme, but it could be fun.”  He gives a small shrug and turns to face the counter better, offering a smile to Bliss.  “Nice to meet you."
Tsaaq: "Hello, lovely to meet you." She said, her voice muffled by the paper mask over her mouth. She lifted her gloved hand to wave at him then sigh. She basically scrubbed the counter repeatedly. She lowered her head to focus on doing just that, glancing at Eli a moment. "Probably not your mind."
Musik: -She looked at all of them before nodding to Adam.- "Yeah I'm getting tired." -She said with a half smile, pulling her hand out of her pocket to wave at everyone.- "I'll see you guys later." -She turned to look at Adam, waiting for him to clock out and shit.-
Covet: Definitley for something though. Good to know you've got ideas at the very least -he told Jaime then looked at the time- Yeah we should get closing up here soon. -he said then waved at Harper- Have a good night Harper, Thanks for the work today Adam. -he told him then looked at Bliss, giving her a soft smile-
Alexithymiaa: -Adam moved behind the computer, logging in so he could clock out for the night. grabbing his jacket, he pulled it over his arms and reached for Harper's hand. "Ya'll have a good night." He sent a wave on his way to the door, pulling the keys to his truck from his jacket pocket as he walked. Adam released Harper's hand so he could jerk the passenger side door open for her, waiting for her to climb up and inside the truck before slamming it closed because that shit sticks and whatever. He moved around to the driver's side, pulling himself up and into the truck so he could start the engine and head back to the house.- (Im tired. And Cat is biting me so... food and bed.)

Mithrandir: Jamie looks over his shoulder and waves to Adam and Harper as they leave.  “It’s getting pretty late.”  He turns, looking back to Eli and Bliss.  “I still need to let the pupper out.”  He holds up the application, flapping it a few times for no apparent reason.  “I’ll fill this out before I go to bed.  It was nice meeting you both!  If you need any more paper work just holler.  I’m not sure your policies on hiring immigrants and all.  I’m legal, I swear.”
Tsaaq: She finished off the counter and pulled down the paper mask and took off the gloves. "Goodnight." She said to Harper and Adam as they left before glancing at Eli, still being frosty. She pursed her lips a moment and nodded her head at Jamie. "...Alright." Bliss murmured awkwardly and went to fix things up on the floor before closing. "You have a good night as well."
Covet: Ha ha, No worries, Man. I'm sure we'll get all that situated and what not. Nice to meet you too, have a nice night. -Eli gave Jamie a wave and made his way over to the computers to shut them down and get things wrapped up for closing. Once he was done he walked over to Bliss, giving a soft sigh- Can we talk real quck?
Mithrandir: With a smile and a wave Jamie turns away, making his way back out of the front door and off in the direction of wherever he’d parked his car.

"It's very important that I'm able to step away from something without it being difficult for me." She said a frown forming on her lips. "And I don't appreciate you being condescending towards me okay? Because I may be neurotic and I may be coarse but you don't understand the frustration." Bliss spoke quickly, finally becoming emotional. "Because I've spent my whole life with it and I've yet to meet anyone who's understood." She started to shake her head.
Covet: -He frowned and tilted his head to the side- I've never thought that you were either of those things.  -He started then let her finish, not feeling any better- I'm sorry if you felt that way, but you're going to have to remind me of when I was condescending, because I missed that entirely. I never intended to make you feel that way. -he said walking closer to her, to pull her in for a hug, seeing her get emotional- Hey hey hey. Just because I don't understand it now, doesn't mean that I can't learn.
Tsaaq: Bliss inhaled deeply before pulling away. "I said not to bother Adam's..." She said before flailing her hands a moment, having trouble finding her words. "But you did anyways and it was like what I said was moot." Bliss frowned and rubbed her temples. "I find it hard to articulate how I feel to be honest."
Covet: -He nodded then dropped his arms when she pulled away.- I wasn't doing that to be condescending. I took what you said into consideration, before I made my descision. The guy was hurt by how you had presented how you feel about his situation. I didn't want him to feel like he was being isolated. Do I disagree with you on the situation, yes, but I'm not going to agree with you on everything. That doesn't make me love you any less, or value your opinion any less. But as his manager, and seeing you two having a dispute, I kind of have to step in to try to keep the peace. We can't change how Adam feels, and no amount of telling him how dumb he might or might not be, is going to change that. He's going to have to learn and figure it out for himself. That doesn't mean we can't still support the guy as a friend  -he looked at her and gave her a sigh- I'm sorry that I, and this whole situation has caused you so much stress.
Tsaaq: She shook her head slowly. "I don't want you to agree with me on everything. In fact I usually expect the opposite from everyone but I am professional enough to do my job-" Bliss stopped speaking a moment and rolled her eyes. "How he thinks he feels." Bliss said dismissively. "I won't support that, I can't. It's illogical. This is precisely what I'm talking about." She sighed and started to gather her things. "Nevermind, it's fine. I really should get back to the dorms..." Bliss muttered while pulling on her coat.
Covet: -Eli stood there and listened to her- So then do you not support me, because I kind of believe in the same thing. For other people, because I've found who I believe is the perfect person for me. Was it madly in love at first sight, No, but I thought you were attractive and the more I was around you, the more I fell in love.  So who are we to say how or what someone feels. Just because we don't feel it. -He shrugged with his hands still in his pocket, and gave her a nod-  I guess I should get back to the OCH -he said taking his hand out to rub the back of his neck- I'll see you tomorrow? -he asked her making his way to the door to turn off the lights, waiting with the door open for her-
Tsaaq: "Yes but, you know how I felt when you did that, all it did was upset me." She sighed. "Sure it's plausible but by a narrow margin, it's just something people like to believe. But you shouldn't do that you shouldn't put that much pressure on another person." Bliss frowned. "It's lies people tell themselves, and lies that they keep telling themselves. In the long run it causes more damage than it helps. Then before you know it you've been married to the someone for years, grasping at straws to keep the lie in tact. What is it worth?" She said as she slung her bag over her shoulder and went to the door. Bliss shrugged walked out the door and nodded at him. "Thank you." She murmured. "Yes, you'll probably see me tomorrow. Drive safely..." Bliss trailed off as she went to her prius hastily and drove back to talon.
Covet: -He hung his head a bit and nodded at her words, processing them.- I think that all comes down to communication. But I understand where you're coming from.  -He closed the door and locked it behind him looking at her, then at his vehicle- I'll be counting down the minutes. -he told her with a soft one sided smile- You too, and sweet dreams tonight My Dear. -he walked to his vehicle and made his way to the OCH. -
