1. Name: Beautidine;
2. Gender: Princess
3. Race: Spooky Monster
4. Color: #E0ABC0
5. Biography: It is said that the dream of every little girl is to be a princess, marry a prince, and live in a castle forever, without any cares or worries and certainly without having to deal with things like politics or rules of succession.
6.
7. While it would be difficult to say that this is untrue, there is a place where such a dream is practically unheard of. In this world, one of odd, monstrous creatures, the dream of every girl is not to become a princess and to live happily ever after, it is to become a District Princess, kill their High Queen, and rule over their subjects with an iron, unbendable will. Well... almost every girl at least.
8.
9. If one were to lump every girl in the Realm of Other Creatures into two categories, each based on the two dreams listed above, each and every one would be lumped into the latter, with a single exception, one stray entry firmly stuck in the former, more straightforward dream.
10.
11. Beautidine is this anomaly.
12.
13. Royalty and politics in the Realm of Other Creatures is rooted in tradition and expectations. As the sole offspring of the Centrall High Queen and one of the five District Princesses, Beautidine is expected to be cunning, brutal, heartless, and to eventually overthrow her mother and from then on rule in her place, at least until the time comes that her offspring does the same to her. A cycle of death and rulership, of overcoming one’s senior, of growing into your own, brutal self by defeating the one who raised you with means that they could not have expected! A powerful concept, stronger than any familiar bonds, that runs deep in the blood of every single District Princess and High Queen to have ever lived, ruled, and died in the Realm. A concept that Beautidine seems to reject, not through some rebellious hope, or a sense of self-sustainability, but through sheer ignorance.
14.
15. Yes, for most of her life Beautidine has neglected her natural inclination for matricide and the general brutality that comes with royalty, instead focusing on the more posh aspects of her position. Dancing and dreaming and singing and skipping and smiling all around her district. Having more “fun” and not at all focusing on tradition or the rules of succession.
16.
17. To some, it is a worrying change, fearing what niceness could bring to the creatures that inhabit the realm. To others, it is an opportunity, to make her into a puppet, something that in the realm has only occurred in some chancellors’ dreams. And to Beautidine herself, it isn’t really a big deal, it is something that she is simply driven to do, even if reality doesn’t agree.
18.
19. However, as much as one wants to live in a blissful world of fantasy and joy, the fact of the matter is that when you don’t agree with reality, reality has ways of making you change your mind...
20.
21. Description: At a casual glance, one could easily mistake Beautidine for a normal, human princess. A cute pastel dress, long, flowing hair, a graceful, cheerful stride, and enough frills and ribbons to make any dressmaker weep. It is upon getting a closer look at the princess that this image starts to fall apart, starting with her dress. The pale plum “gown” is actually her lower body, and while it feels smooth to the touch, just like an actual dress, any close observation would see it as her flesh. The pinkish-white frills that encompass the bottom “hemming” are a bunch of tiny appendages which contract and wriggle around, providing her with the ability to travel in any direction she wishes, on any terrain she wishes. Around her waist is a rosy ribbon, the divider between her upper and lower body, tied around the back with two long ends hanging and flowing the air. Her upper body is a bit darker shade of purple than its lower counterpart but similar in texture, only flat on the front, and a bit chubby around the sides. From the waist up to her head, her front side is smooth and featureless. Her head holds an eternal fake smile, her large pink eye, and adorning her head, a gold crown. She has no traditional arms or hair, but from the top of her head down to her waist her backside gives way to malleable, dark purple appendages that can stretch, grow wider or thinner, and twist in any direction. These appendages give her the illusion of long flowing hair and also add a few extra features here and there, which change from time to time. More importantly, they also give Beautidine at least two arms which she can use to gesture and interact and do whatever princesses do with arms.

24.
25. Mentally, Beau is a lot more simple. By the standards of her race especially, she tends to look at things.. differently. The Centrall District Princess has gone through various classes in deception, espionage, betrayal, brutality, and the similar suite of tactics needed to rise up to Queendom, she just has no interest in them. Her only interests are in this odd, foreign idea of what a princess should be, to be someone prim and proper, and most baffling of all, nice. To this end, she spends her time blissfully trying to keep the spirits of others up (usually to their chagrin), trying to organize excursions and other fun activities for her staff (which they fearfully participate in), and indulging her abnormal, saccharine sense of fun. She likes living creatures, is curious about the world outside of the five district palaces, doesn’t want to kill her mother, wants to listen to her subjects and staff and everyone, and wants to marry a prince and live in a castle with him.
26.
27. But that isn’t to say that she knows how. WIth such a sheltered life, her head is just full of dreams, thoughts and ideas that challenge the norm, and she is in no way prepared to deal with the harsh, unflinching reality ahead.
28.
29. Items/Abilities: The only physical items that Beautidine holds is her golden crown, tightly snug on her head and her ribbon, firmly tied around her waist. As the Centrall District Princess she can easily acquire anything that she needs, not only because of her rank, but because Centrall Princesses and High Queens both release a substance that urges other creatures to like her. It is more powerful in closer proximities and if she touches you, but it grows weaker the more intelligent the other creature is. In less intelligent creatures, it even causes them to understand and follow her gestures. Beau also has a slight abnormality from those that came before her in that the substance also instills some of her odd views on what is fun and happiness into others, usually making them think a bit similarly to her, but that also weakens the effect on any individuals who think differently.
30.
31. Beau does not breathe air, nor speak in any conventional sense. The opening from which her appendages come out from is also the one used for consuming nutrients and is the only opening of any kind on her body. It can, and usually is completely sealed by her appendages and is only opened when Beau needs to eat something whole. Speaking, drinking, and in some cases, eating, is all done with her appendages.
32.
33. Beautidine can create hundreds of said appendages and stretch or change their shape as she pleases. She is not by any means a patron of speed, but she makes up for it by being able to turn and wade quickly, as well as by being able to move on virtually any surface in exactly the same way. In addition to the natural mobility and flexibility, Beau’s body is also durable, it would take a lot of damage to inflict serious harm to her as she heals quickly. To inflict a fatal wound would take multiple factors, no single weapon could do it. Whenever she gets really scared, she extends a bunch of appendages and rolls herself up into a ball.
