- Jump 212: Danny Phantom
- >Two of Swords (Peace), reversed: Allowing the mind to block off the emotions. Self deception as a means of justifying cruel acts.
- It's not cruel if it's Vlad Plasmius! Then it's just funny.
- >Age: 19
- >Location: Amity Park
- >Identity: Half-Ghost (-200)
- >Beware! (700)
- Meh, a little more spooky never hurt anyone.
- >Ghost Sense (Free, Half-Ghost)
- As long as it doesn't manifest as breathing out air cold enough to chill the air. I'm okay with feeling a physical chill.
- >Ghost Shields (600)
- The ability to shield against attacks is most useful, even if my immediate reaction is avoidance. Can't avoid everything.
- >Ecto-Blast (400)
- Being able to dish it out as well as take it is important too.
- >Pyrokinesis (0)
- Speaking of dishing it out... blue flames? Yeah, I'm good with that.
- So, unsurprisingly, Danny came across me when I was out mucking about - and just ask any ork, this is just begging for trouble. Apparently this was early in the first season, he'd had a bad day, I'd had a bad day, and this led to a running battle through the city's outskirts. Which was just faaantastic. The consequences of that were quite undesirable: he got a lucky hit, knocked me out of ghost state, and I slammed against a wall when I reverted to human. Painfully. When he realized what happened, he screeched to a halt.
- >"Wait... you're not a ghost?"
- "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamed of by your philosophy... also, ow. Very ow."
- >"But... you're like me!" To his credit, he glanced around to make sure we were alone, before he reverted to human form.
- "No. Not like you, not quite," I told him with a smile, "but I'll see you around. Just watch out for the Dracula wannabe, yeah?"
- I proceeded to leave him confused by way of walking through the wall and disappearing. Intangibility without going ghost. Naturally this confused the hell out of him, but it was quite amusing. I didn't run into him again for quite a while, though I did pull a couple of strings and briefly appear on camera to a reporter in my cryptid form, one Harriet Chin, and as a result the story she published about ghosts got a little more traction, and the mornings in Amity Park a little foggier some days. Hey, it was for the sake of atmosphere.
- Didn't run around giving anyone magic this time, though. Last time it ended up with cults based around it, which is silly. This time... well, there were a few dummies that tried to summon me and I entertained them on a lark, because it makes things fun. Didn't see much of a result from that, though apparently I became an urban legend. The headless ghost. How silly. I found out that my mark is visible to all ghosts, though, which was interesting, though somehow it shifted from being just a hand to a hand with an eye. Curious.
- Also, yes, I was inevitably summoned by Vlad Plasmius. Yes, I trolled him. Repeatedly. Relentlessly. He has a tramp stamp now, among other embarrassments.
- Other than that... well, with the magic of massive abuse of clone perks, I basically had a cameo in every episode somewhere or another in the background. Occasionally when I'd overhear Danny-and-crew having a problem I'd wander past while doing my job and give some random advice, and basically otherwise played it low-key in order to fit into the setting nicely. It was pretty amusing to watch from the sidelines though - the Danny and Tucker bromance was almost as epic as JD and Turk, as it turns out, but having Sam there kept it from being too ridiculous. And no, I didn't torpedo THAT matchup, it still happened.
- I got to hang out with the Tesla expy in between world conquest attempts, though, and give Valerie tips on hunting ghosts and the like. Not to mention the guys in white, more victims of relentless trolling. Amusingly, in the end, Tucker and Valerie ended up getting together and married as soon as they were both legal adults. It was amusing; I made sure to attend their wedding.
- And by attend their wedding, I mean I sent ALL of my clones there, for the sake of making it weird. Hey, they sent me the invitations in all my guises, a literal stack of them. ("Here's yours, and one for you at the mall, and one for the you at the Nasty Burger, and one for...") It's not like they shouldn't have expected that prank to backfire on them.
