  1. from /hhg/ - Hazbin Hotel General #363
  2. ---------
  3. What if Valentino came to the hotel in order to get back Angel Dust? How would the other characters react to him coming there? How would his interaction with Charlie be like?
  4. ---
  5. >Alastor
  6.
  7. Politely hostile. Val is allied with Vox, and Vox and Alastor hate each other. Alastor is presumably not the sort to throw the first punch, particularly if he's in someone else's house. I'm sure he'd issue jabs and barbs the whole time, but nothing vulgar or too overt. He'd definitely be ready to escalate things into eldritch horror-pit mode at a moments notice though
  8.
  9. >Husk
  10.
  11. Serves him a drink if he steps up to the bar, otherwise gives him the same contemptuous glare he gives everyone else and keeps his mouth shut. Quietly hopes that things don't develop into violence between Val and Alastor; as one of Al's thralls, he's obliged to join the fray if his boss does.
  12.
  13. >Niffty
  14.
  15. Might initially be excited/starstruck to have a tall, flashily dressed man strutting around given how horny she is. How long that lasts probably depends on how long Valentino can put on a polite face instead of acting like the prick he really is. As another of Al's thralls, she's probably required to step in if/when her boss decides to attack Val.
  16.
  17. >Vaggie
  18.
  19. Immediately, weapon-brandishingly hostile. I doubt there's much love in her heart for pimps to begin with, and whats more, she's downright fearless despite probably not being a very powerful demon. She was ready to jam a spear right in Alastor, 'one of the most powerful beings Hell has ever seen's face, just for daring to walk through the door, I doubt she'll be very patient with the likes of any other overlord, especially one who's openly trying to take away one of her patients.
  20.
  21. >Angel Dust
  22.
  23. Might try to hide from Val if he knows he's coming. His will seems pretty broken and he's probably suffering from learned helplessness; probably doesn't have it in him to try to confront him directly. It'll probably be something of a shocker to the rest of the cast when they see the normally sassy and violence-prone person suddenly become quiet and deferential and just let someone drag him around by the wrist like a battered spouse.
  24. -
  25. >Charlie
  26.
  27. Would probably attempt to keep the peace as best as she could. This would be a good moment to show the 'dutiful' side of her princess persona: if she was in fact being groomed for the throne before she went off on her crazy mission to get damned souls into Heaven, then she ought to have at least some basic diplomacy skills. She'll try to be as accommodating as possible, whilst surreptitiously assuring Angel that she's not going to let his pimp take him out of the hotel. Might deliberately play dumb and say something like
  28.
  29. >"If you want to see Angel, visiting hours are from X to Y. Other than that, I'm afraid he's generally occupied with his rehabilitation sessions."
  30.
  31. Depending on how insistent Val is/if he starts trying to get what he wants with threats and violence, it could be the first time in the show you see her get truly angry and attempt to really hurt someone. If Val does something to make her angry enough to go full demon form, it's probably going to get REALLY ugly.
  32. ---
  33. I feel like Charlie might be even more powerful that Alastor is, but the reason she hasn't shown that side of her yet is because she's never had a chance yet. If she got really angry, maybe we could see some of her actual powers. And I feel like someone who is willing to forcefully take her first patient away might be just the trigger for her to unleash her true abilities.
  34. -
  35. I think Charlie is quite powerful indeed, but she chooses to hold herself back for the most part because she doesn't want to achieve her goals through threat of force. In the cold open, she launches a fireball up into the sky to announce the end of the extermination. She's pretty casual about it too, doesn't seem to require a whole lot of effort on her part. Even though that was a peaceful use of her powers, it DOES demonstrate that she's capable of launching fiery explosives all over the place with nothing more than a flick of her wrist.
  36. -
  37. I keep saying this, there no way that Alastor Is "more" powerful than lucifer daughter. and as well I still don't understand why people think she is weak?... it's just because she nice to people?
  38.
  39. she can kick your ass if she decided to use her power

  41. Hey guys I've been thinking about Moxxie compared to the other imps. From the pilot and the Instagrams it's obvious that Moxxie is not like the other demons at IMP. So I was thinking for a story what if he wasn't an Imp but actually a Cherub? (like in the CHERUB commercial sneak peak)
  42. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PspFg9bE_BQ
  43. He hates lol so random humor and surprise visits while Millie and Blitzo love it. Loona can deal with it too in stride. He doesn't swear and is professional/punctual. Maybe doesn't like violence as much?
  44. On two times he performed medical care for Blitzo when he got shot and when he broke his leg. Among other things he seems relatively innocent and straightedge. All not very demonic characteristics.
  45. I need some help discussing these ideas.
  46. -
  47. Well, our theory in Imptropology (part 1) was that Moxxie's basically caught in between a rock and a hard space: acting overtly serious (which considered "immature" by imp society's inverted standards when compared to man's), and going against his own, destructive instincts in order to act mature in a human sense.
  48. He's the team's marksman, so he has to be precise and orderly - the exact opposite of the traits expected from an imp, who usually revel in chaos.
  49.
  50. I wonder if his frustration hides genuine anger issues that he's been suppressing, only allowing himself release through each clean headshot he performs...
  51.
  52. Imagine him accidentally left in the human world, or just going rouge and jumping into some random military practice in the middle of bumblefuck nowhere, becoming a local Simo Häyhä-esque sniper for no other reason than to cool off, just enjoying the thrill of the hunt against a trained and somewhat prepared enemy (and with little regards to the panic, confusion, and potential military-diplomatic incidents and conflicts he may incite in the wake of his rampage).
  53.
  54. Every once in a while, he disappears for a week or even a month, living only obscure notes. Whenever he comes back, he's unusually calm and collected, ice cold compared to his usual, worrywart temperament.
  55. Even when Blitzo accuses him cheating on his Millie to get a rise out of him (and return things to their normal state, where Moxxie isn't being "creepy"), he just laughs it off, and cracks dark jokes for days on end, until the hubbub of everyday life returns him to his usual state.
  56.
  57. Millie has at least a good idea regarding his outings: he takes some of his favorite guns, a tons of ammo and some army rations, and when he comes back, they have the best sex, and he's absolutely dominant (despite being a massive sub most of the time).
  58. -
  59. Christ on a bicycle Moxxie is the most dangerous member of IMP. He could destabilize international relations every single time he goes out to "relax"
  60. -
  61. >moxxie is jason bourne on the side
  62. can we not with this sort of thing. Really is it so hard to believe that an angry imp is an angry imp? That a good marksman is just that, a good marksman? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
  63. -
  64. I agree. I don't like characters to be secret badasses out of nowhere. It also makes more pedestrian and relatable problems fade away.
  65. -------------------
  66. I wanna continue the discussion about cherub Moxxie from last thread please.
  67. I think he'd look very cute as one of those sheep like cherubs.
  68. -
  69. So let's say we're looking at a far-future scenario where Charlie has successfully broken down the barriers between Heaven and Hell, things are generally much more peaceful, exterminations are over, etc etc. Can native demons go to/interact with Heaven, even temporarily?
  70.
  71. Like, assuming imps like Moxxie fit into the same slot in Hell that cherubs do in Heaven, do they ever get to hang out with their counterparts?
  72. -
  73. They would probably act like two countries that were old enemies but are now just politically neutral. There would be prejudice among the population still but nothing too serious. Like today the relationship between Russia and the US is generally getting more amicable since the cold war.
  74. Demons, angels, sinners, and people who go to heaven may be able to get Visa's to temporarily visit heaven or hell. The heaven Visa is probably very stringent in terms of who they allow over, needing a string of good behaviour and even then the chance to go is given by random lottery system.
  75. The hell Visa could probably be more economicaly motivated. People who are in heaven might want to visit their relatives in hell and they would need accommodations, food, and transportation. Hell tourism might become a thing (if anything in hell is worth seeing) if some tourism companies promise to protect them, like resorts in third world countries. There will always be some motivated to visit because of novelty but hell is/was a scary place full of temptation and violence. Tourist from heaven would be seen as yuppie assholes gawking at the sinners.
  76. Eventually tension will ease enough to let cultural exchange and sports to develop. There may be cultural exchange students going both ways, and it will be as ridiculous as it sounds. Hell sports teams will begin to play against heaven sports teams. Doping against the rules but the hell teams will do it anyway; the heaven teams will always find out too. Punishment is usually just a penalty/handicap and not disqualification.
  77. There will be a hell sports team called Hell's Angels and a heaven sports team called Heavens Devils.
