Faced with the suspicious death of their father, two brothers must motivate one another to get back on their bikes and take the Las Vegas Motocross Championships by storm.
A motorcycle saga that chronicles the personal journey of two brothers who overcome emotional and physical obstacles to achieve success in the competitive world of Supercross racing. The brothers' conflicts are magnified by their different life choices and their decision to become competitors and rivals. KC Carlyle is a more cautious rider than his younger brother Trip, who has more natural talent but takes too many risks. When KC gets an all-expenses paid factory--corporate sponsored--ride, a rift forms between the two brothers. Trip is forced to go at it alone, becoming a privateer--a rider without a sponsor. But when a career threatening crash ends Trip's Supercross career, he and KC realize that they must put aside their conflicts, and work together to help KC defeat the world's greatest Supercross champions.
This movie is awesome! On top of the fact that i enjoyed every single second of it, it had a great soundtrack. Yes some of the editing was cheesy, but who cares, if it has to do with dirtbikes, then its legit. Makes me miss socal :( , why did i move away?? Anyway, its a definite must see for everyone who thought the title of my review is clever, if u didn't, well then you probably wont enjoy this movie as much as i did. Basically its a story about these two brothers who have the dream of racing against the pros, but at the time are spending their days cleaning pools. It has plenty of twists and turns and will keep you wanting more. I gave it a 10 because it is probably the best way i could have spent 80 minutes other than being at the track or in the desert myself.
&quot;Supercross&quot; more than overcomes a slow start. The movie rips into a new dimension of cycling portrayal, combining crispy-clean and spectacular event photography with rich pulsing sound. The highlights of the film &quot;Supercross&quot; have to be the motor-bike photography. The quality only gets better as the action evolves. Everyone into advanced cinematography or cycle racing has to see &quot;Supercross&quot; because the THQ Las Vegas Championship races are worth watching over and over again!!! The closing moments deep and &quot;coloured&quot; mesh of film technique will be best appreciated on a Big Screen.<br/><br/>The simple romantic drama is at least worth sitting through, and possibly enjoyed after all. Fresh young talent like Sophia Bush, Cameron Richardson, Ryan Locke, and Channing Tatum grace the screen. Likewise experienced racers David Pingree and Tyler Evans.<br/><br/>A variety of music works, especially the opening credit sync and a ballad theme that has a good feel to it.<br/><br/>&quot;Supecross&quot; is different. The plot is very simple and the dramatic approach asks only that you enjoy what the movie has to offer without asking why.
Since the focus is on the track, the filmmakers aren't out to reinvent the wheel, but for such a simple piece of formula storytelling, they do a remarkably poor job of dotting I's and crossing T's.
