- normal typing gives it 1 immunity and 1 weakness, but no resistances whatsoever
- weak to one of the most common wallbreakers/spinners in the tier which is hitmonlee
- suffers from slight 4MSS
- competes with aromatisse as a wish passer/cleric, but dtail and knock off give it its niche over that.

Moves
========
- wish for recovery/passing to teammates, goes nicely along with a large HP stat.
- protect for guaranteed wish recovery/scouting and for extra 6% of health
- heal bell cures status
- if heal bell is not needed/other team members got it covered, then knock off is good.
- fourth slot depends on if you chose knock off in the third slot or not, and depends on whether you need pHazing or not.
- seismic toss can be used for consistent damage
- body slam is nice for a STAB and a move that could potentially spread paralysis.

Set Details
========
- max/max+ SpD to take on specially based threats such as delphox, moltres, and yanmega nicely.
- careful nature to boost SpD
- leftovers for passive recovery, goes nicely with protect for extra 6%

Usage Tips
========
- lickilicky can comfortably switch in versus many special sweepers and threaten them immediately with knock off, so do that, but do it sparingly since stuff like delphox and rotom-c can switcheroo/trick you a choice item, something lickilicky doesn't like a lot
- wish can be used whenever you need to pass it to a teammate or for recovery
- protect when you're unsure of what the opponent will do or if you suspect it to be choice-locked, but be careful since this can be abused and it can be a free set up turn for the opponent
- knock off spam is 100% fine and removing items is a good thing
- use dragon tail if there are hazards on the field since its nice for racking up passive damage

Team Options
========
- granbull has intimidate and resists fighting-type attacks, so its a very good switch-in to hitmonlee, it also likes wish support a lot. Same goes to physically defensive Aromatisse, and both of them can have Heal Bell and Aromatherapy respectively and free up a moveslot for Lickilicky.
- amoonguss can also do good vs. fighting types, and its weaknesses can be covered by lickilicky somewhat, since it can handle moltres and knock off its life orb so its not as strong anymore.
- Alomomola also makes a good teammate in stall/defensive teams since it can take the overwhelming physical attacks that lickilicky can't handle, and vice versa.
- pokemon that like wish support in general; doublade, meloetta, and registeel. furthermore, registeel sets up SR which helps spread passive damage with dragon tail;
- hazard setters like roselia which can set up spikes and t.spikes are appreciated, since they go well with d.tail. weezing also sets up t.spikes and takes on fighting-types really well and can burn them, and likes the wish support licky provides.

Moves
========
- Return is STAB and hits anything that doesn't resist it for decently damage
- Power Whip nails Rhyperior and Gastrodon and 2HKOs Alomomola, and is good coverage against Water-types in general
- Knock Off is always good because knock off, and it can get rid ofpokemon's precious items and cripples doublade, gligar, golbat, and any pokemon switching in, while EQ hurts pokemon like Cobalion on the switch while still hurting doublade.
- Explosion is explosion, and used as a last-resort move to go down and cause a lot of damage or possible take down another mon with you.

Set Details
========
- EVs are max attack, enough speed to outspeed Mola, with the rest dumped into HP for bulk.
- Choice Band along with Adamant is used to maximize damage output and take advantage of Lickilicky's ability to remove certain threats like mola and rhyperior, and powers up Explosion by a lot.

Usage Tips
========
- spam return unless ghost type/resist exists. in that case, use knock off or try to predict with your coverage moves.
- can be used throughout the match, but its best used early game to take on walls and eliminate certain mons, weaken teams for teammates to sweep, etc.
- be careful of overwhelming powerful attacks.


Team Options
========
- physically defensive aromatisse handles the fighting types that Lickilicky struggles with while also providing aromatherapy and wish support that lickilicky loves.
- wish passers in general, like alomomola, make good partners. especially mola, because its a sturdy ass physical wall that can switch into most physical threats and provides wish support.
- sweepers that like mola and rhyperior gone; fletchinder stands out since it can spread burns which in turn softens up said Pokemon for lickilicky to take care of, and opens a path to a clean fletchinder sweep.
- since explosion can take down a bulky mon by surprise, setup sweepers that struggle to break certain walls, like cobalion, durant, and virizion, are cool since they like said bulky mons eliminated/weakened.
- pokemon that like fighting types gone can benefit from lickilicky luring them in and hitting them hard, possibly KOing them. registeel is good in this spot, especially since it provides SR support. zoroark also likes fighting types gone, and can lure in specific threats and weaken them for lickilicky to KO, or vice versa.
- hazards support is very appreciated, SR setters include rhyperior, registeel, and druddigon. qwilfish can set up spikes/t.spikes and can switch into fighting-types easily. roselia also sets up spikes and has sleep powder to put something to sleep.

Other Options

- Curse
- any of Lickilicky's coverage moves, depending on what your team would benefit from
- fire blast to hurt steel types especially escavalier and cobalion on a switch
- thunder wave
- physically defensive set, but its not as good handling physical attackers
- weather support, since that + explosion can get a free teammate in without it taking any damage.


Checks & Counters
########
**Fighting-types**: They resist Knock Off, can hurt with super effective STAB moves, and Cobalion and Virizion like a Justified boost.

**Offensive Pressure**: Offensive pressure from the physical side can hurt Lickilicky, especially coming from Pokemon like Rhyperior, Exploud, Druddigon, and Escavalier. Entry hazards also pressure and hurt it, since it has no direct recovery besides Wish, which can be exploitable. If it lacks dragon tail Lickilicky becomes set-up fodder for Pokemon such as Doublade, Virizion, and Cobalion, who aren't threatened by Knock Off.
