[h1]Now it's time to actually backup the game(s), for this reason you will need to go to your Steam Library[/h1]

If you've installed Steam on its default location, then your Steam Library can be found here:

Otherwise, your Steam Library(s) are usually found in this location, you might have multiple Steam Libraries each on different partitions/hard disks, so you should [u]Replace "G" with your own drive letter[/u]

Either way, once in the "common " folder, find the folder that is named after the game you're trying to back up and copy it to the "common" folder in your External device which you previously created.

Now you have to go one directory back [code] G:\Steam\steamapps [/code]
again as explained earlier [u]Replace "G" with your own drive letter[/u].

In the "steamapps" folder you need to find the [u]appmanifest[/u] of your game (a very small file less than 10KB size).
(e.g I choose [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/460930/Tom_Clancys_Ghost_Recon_Wildlands/]Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands[/url], its [u]appmanifest[/u] is this: "appmanifest_460930.acf" and the number 460930 represents the AppID of that game ).  so you need to copy the appmanifest of your Own game into the "steamapps" folder of your External device too, otherwise none of this works!

Depending on how many games are installed on your computer there might be many appmanifest files in there, so in order to find the exact number of your game's AppID, go to the Game's Steam Store page from a browser,
