  1. [08:14:17] Drochi could feel Lico's eyes in the back of his head. It was almost as unnerving as the constant threat of attack, as they neared the woodlands. The Dark Energy in the air seemed stronger now. More intense. And now, Drochi could fully appreciate the resistance training he'd gone through beforehand, as it crept in on the area. The sky itself seemed to get darker, as Drochi could hear the thundering footsteps of what was likely a Kaor-level Yokai in the area.
  2.
  3. Drochi knew that Lico had sensed the same thing, as they both seemed to take down their auras, so as to not be spotted immediately. Drochi made his way towards the creature, getting a good view of it. The last time he'd seen a Kaor, they had nearly killed both him and Lico. It was a sight to behold, for sure. But now, Drochi's mind began to wonder. He'd grown stronger since the last encounter with a Kaor, much stronger. And so had Lico. They both stood as masters of their crafts now, and Drochi began to wonder... if they could defeat such a beast in true combat.
  4. (Drochi Tkach)
  5. [08:22:49] Kariya wanted to go to New Alteros, maybe he needed informations enough to know how to act in the case of the city end up destroying Cinderfall, he needed to know thoose streets, the Drakanite wanted to scan the city and maybe get some allies.
  6.
  7. The girl looking boy would stop in the middle of his way, near to New Alteros, he knew it wasaa dangerous place as he noticed some mega and Greater Yokai, it wasn't as if they were going to do something to him, but atleast he tought he should worry atleast a little bit.
  8.
  9. Getting closer, he would feel a huge darkness upcoming from one of them, he didn't knew what it was but it was a Kaor, everything he could feel was the power upcoming from it and a little bit of fear.
  10.
  11. He would notice two young mans, they looked like Exorcists, Kariya would take off his hood, the teen would get closer to them, maybe they could help him to understand or maybe escape from that thing, but he said nothing, he wanted to analyze the situation before acting or saying anything, since he wouldn't want to fight it, atleast not now.
  12. (Kariya Aíma)
  13. [08:39:53]
  14. Lico saw that look on Drochi's face. the 'I bet I'm better than this thing.' look, that might not be what he was thinking but Lico knew it was something along those lines. looking Drochi in the face Lico sighed and said. "No" softly but with a hard n to show he really didn't want this. even if they could kill a kaor they would no doubt take heavy damage and Lico didn't really want that.
  15.
  16. He didn't like to see Dro9chi hurt and he wasn't a big fan of pain himself, and fighting a Koar would most certainly be nothing but pain. just in case Lico redied his stone sword, hoping the holy magic within would help against such a terrible foe.. he was almost certain Drochi would attack the kaor no matter how much pain it caused Lico or anyone else. even so, Lico didn't hate Drochi, he almost found his complete disregard for Lico's safety to be almost admirable.
  17.
  18. Looking back Lico saw a small kid? standing a few feet behind him. they were more in the open than Lico would have expected considering people usually hid from yokai. not wanting this person to be hurt Lico gave a gesture to shoo them away, not wanting them to be hurt in the ensuing battle that was most definitely going to take place in a few moments once Drochi decides he can beat the kaor.
  19. (Cadmus Lico)
  20. [08:51:50] Drochi looked at Lico, there was obvious concern hidden underneath that helmet of his. His eye's pleaded 'No', with a hard 'N', to show they meant business, but their body said 'Yes' a thousand fold, and Drochi knew they were ready for the battle to come. Giving Lico a firm nod, Drochi flaired out his aura, taking a stand as he did so. Already, the kaor seemed to take noticed, and the excitement built within him. This was going to be a good battle.
  21.
  22. Quickly, Drochi dashed forwards, blade propped slightly from it's scabbard, and a glowing fist of Holy Magic already being prepared in his free hand. At first, the Kaor seemed confused, that such a person would so recklessly rush at it. But, that confusion quickly seemed to turn to anger, as it roared and set out to cut Drochi down. That blade, his safety, it meant nothing to men like Lico and him.
  23. (Drochi Tkach)
  24. [09:01:13] Sighs, he would just go as he sees the "exorcists" wouldn't want him near, and he was about to, until... he saw the other one dashing against that Kaor, Kariya already knew that this battle wouldn't be a good thing for him to get in even knowing that there is no danger for him, atleast he thinks that he with theese two would be able to beat that Yokai, but, since he doesn't know thoose men's power, he wouldn't help.
  25.
  26. He was watching all that with his arms crossed, trusting that they would beat the beast, and if they don't, atleast they would make it to be weak enough for the Drakanite to finish, or run.
  27.
  28. -Need any help?
  29.
  30. He would ask, glanging to Drochi, who was running towards the Yokai.
  31. (Kariya Aíma)
  32. [09:14:52] Lico heard Drochi take a step forward and activated his holy aura. He had absolutely no faith in drochi at this point, and he wasn't even surprised at this point. hearing the child ask if they needed help didn't stop Lico from running off, even if they did need all the help they could get he wasn't endangering a kid with a job like this.
  33.
  34. Dashing forward as fast as he could Lico caught up with Drochi right as the Kaor brought down a sword attempting to kill Drochi, Lico wanted to sigh at just how much this would likely hurt. getting in the way of the sword Lico blocked it with the stone sword he had created earlier. he had yet to test how structurally sound it was so Lico figured he was likely to die if this went wrong, luckily luck wads on his side and the sword didn't break immediately even though it was made of inferior materials.
  35.
  36. Lico felt the holy magic within the sword was keeping it together, even though his sword wasn't destroyed Kaors aren't weak and he could feel himself being pushed back. his arms barely able to holt the Kaors blade back with his whole body working to stop the blade. "This was a bad idea" Lico yelled anger echoing in his voice as he struggled against the Kaor to give Drochi an opening.
  37. (Cadmus Lico)
  38. [09:35:21] Drochi smirked at Lico's yell of anger. He didn't know what the problem was with the situation. Lico's sword held out against the onslaught from the Kaor, which seemed to only anger the creature more. He could tell that Lico wasn't having as good of a time as he was, so Drochi decided to help them out a bit, by returning Lico's favor, and distracting the Kaor himself.
  39.
  40. Seeing the opening Lico provided, Drochi unsheathed his blade and pounced at the monster, aiming to strike it directly with a Holy Magic imbued strike. That idea, though was quickly dashed as the Yokai simply backhanded Drochi out of the air, and against a nearby tree. The impact knocked the air out of his lungs, as well as gave him more than a few splinters. He'd have to remove them later. Struggling to his feet, Drochi launched a few ice shards at the creature, hoping to draw it's attention that way.
  41.
  42. It worked. Sort of. The Kaor looked over at Drochi as the ice embedded itself into the Yokai's flesh, just barely. A bit worried at this new revelation, Drochi immediately covered the area around him in a purifying energy, and prepared to begin a new attack towards the Yokai.
  43. (Drochi Tkach)
  44. [09:43:02] All that was getting interesting, Kariya noticed that both were holy magic users, and one of them was able to wield ice to his favor, something that he wouldn't know that was possible, with a smile, the girl looking Drakanite would smile, he wasn't going to meddle, he knew they were going to win, and the show was just getting started...
  45.
  46. He would turn his back to the men fighting, glanging upon his shoulder, to get to a more safe place, but a place where he could still watch that fight, that Yokai held a blade, it was clear that it wasn't a greater or an Elemental, and if it was one of them, Kariya himself should be able to finish him easily, but that was getting even more intense than he tought.
  47.
  48. -What...? a Yokai wielding a blade...? i never saw something like that before, that is pretty new to me... dangerous... really dangerous.
  49. (Kariya Aíma)
  50. [10:00:57] seeing Drochi pierce the Yokai with his ice magic Lico decided it would be best if he used the situation to his advantage. the yokai dying from blood loss would be nice but they needed to remove the ice spikes before that could happen, the only thing Lico could do without fire magic was do what he did best. dropping his sword Lico created a rock in his hands focusing on the shape, and the GIRTH of the stone not caring whether it was rough or smooth, just making sure it was quite large. but not too large as to make it impossible to throw.
  51.
  52. with a big chunk of mana gone and a throwable rock in hand, Lico threw the rock, his muscles rippling inside his armor as he launched the rock at the ice spikes. knocking one all the way through and out the other side while also knocking the Kaor off balance from the sudden unexpected force hitting him. Lico was pretty happy with the results but he knew he couldn't create another one of those until his mana was completely replenished.
  53.
  54. Lico always found the most annoying part about magic was the limit you could use. you could always train to get more mana and using a spell more sometimes made it take less mana as to not be so tiring. but there was still a limit to how much you could use without dying from exhaustion. focusing back on his enemy Lico saw that the unbalanced Kaor seemed to have never ending rage only getting angrier as the battle continued.
  55. (Cadmus Lico)
  56. [10:13:45] Drochi watched, taking note of the sub-sonic missile launched at the Kaor that was a simple rock thrown by Lico. It had caused one of Drochi's Ice spikes to dig further into the creature, as well as knocking the Kaor off balance. Regaining his confident smirk, Drochi launched back towards the Kaor, this time taking note to form a protective shielding around himself, before the creature just knocked him away again.
  57.
  58. Getting closer, Drochi leapt into the air, onto and then back off of the angry Kaor, landing in front of the beast. Looking back, he smiled as he called forth rows of icey pillars from the Earth, before kicking one directly at the Kaor. This, alongside Lico's assistance, Drochi felt sure of himself and his friend's combined effort that they would defeat the creature, before anything horrible happened.
  59. (Drochi Tkach)
  60. [10:20:35] Would simply get closer after the beast to be beaten, Kariya was still with his arms crossed, he was still wondering about what was that Yokai or even that blade, since he was never around thoose lands before, he wouldn't even see any of thoose things... it was very weird.
  61.
  62. -Hey, anyone of you know what kind of Yokai was that thing? It doesn't looks like a greater, or even an Elemental, it's so weird, i never saw a yokai to wield a blad ethis way like that creature did...
  63.
  64. He wonders if they would respond, since no one of them said nothing since he arrived, that was getting kinda boring for him, maybe he should just leave, but not without this information... he wanted to know how would a yokai be so powerfull.
  65. (Kariya Aíma)
  66. [10:40:12] finding an opening created once again by Drochi Lico went for a slice though because his sword was blunt and made of stone no cut would be made, after hitting the Kaor Lico saw a pained expression on its face as it appeared the holy magic withing his sword had reacted negatively in contact with the Koars skin, a mark left where his sword had striked. Lico was glad to know adding holy was effective against yokai, though he figured fire might be quite effective too. but fire and earth? pfft, thats stupid there was no way something could be made from that.
  67.
  68. the yokai again turned to face Lico this time more weary of Drochi who was right behind him. the Kaor seemed to be catching on to their strategy of constantly changing his attention and striking simultaneously. it wasn't something they had planned before hand it had just sort of came together like that no planning required. Lico supposed it was caused by their years of traveling together.
  69.
  70. Dropping his sword after it broke against the Kaors hide from a second hit. Lico got ready to throw some punches when he saw an opening but he was interrupted by that child from before asking about yokai, "We're kind of in the middle of something." Lico said sidestepping the Kaores blade barely getting out of harm's way.. " what are you still doing here anyway, I told you to run!" Lico couldn't take his attention off of the battle anymore as the Kaor went a flurry of attacks his way.
  71. (Cadmus Lico)
  72. [10:58:59] Drochi saw his opening in the Kaor's assault against his friend Lico. It seemed incredibly focused on obliterating Lico's existence, but also painfully aware that Drochi was nearby, and more than ready to start a fight. Drochi wanted to choose to believe that there was fear mixed in with the kaor's anger. Fear that Drochi was insane, and wasn't going to hesitate to attack at any chance given. Of course, that could likely of just been Drochi making things up in his head, but it was real, for him.
  73.
  74. Drochi took a more cautious approach to this next attack, hoping to land a critical hit, possibly a fatal strike, against the beast. He focused his Holy energy into his blade, momentarily removing his aura, in exchange for a devastating attack against such a being of Darkness. It was now or never.
  75.
  76. Drochi charged at the Kaor once again, this time instead of jumping, he ran by it's side, past the Kaor, only to circle back around. He continued to circle the Yokai for a short time, hoping to either confuse it, or to catch it off guard enough to land his attack. On one of his passes, he drew his blade. On another, he slashed the Yokai's side.
  77.
  78. During these passes, Drochi also noticed a younger person standing around watching them, not really doing anything. Once Drochi had gained a good distance after his last hit, he turned to them. "So you're the one Lico keeps calling out to. Sorry, we're a little focused here, what with trying not to die, while also trying to kill this big beasty.", he said, before dashing back off to battle.
  79. (Drochi Tkach)
  80. [11:20:19] Would just lend his right hand to his blade's handle, with a smile, Kariya would understand the situation, the beast wasn't beaten, he just noticed it now, that creature was just too strong... and just watching them to fight it was getting boring.
  81.
  82. A lightning would cover the boy's body, just like it happened when he trained with Brom, it was his aura, but he tried to hide it, making the lightning that surround his body a little bit weaker.
  83. -Allow me to help you, if that's the case.
  84.
  85. Drawing his sword out, the young would point it to the creature, would start teleporting and running, surrounding the beast, it was too boring how much he need to focus to perform a perfect teleport, he couldn't do it as quickly as he wanted, like a flash. The teen would wait for an oportunity to strike, abusing his vritra dashes and teleport to stay away from danger.
  86. (Kariya Aíma)
  87. [11:41:39] Lico sensed the Kaor was on his last legs as his attacks were getting much more vicious and reckless the opening were numerous and it seemed the Koar had lost any semblance of form or sense to its attacks. swinging wildly at Lico and taking heavy fire from Drochi who as always was very reliable in a battle. finding a good foothold Lico charged earth magic into his fist.
  88.
  89. Lico saw a large opening right where the Kaors knock out button as. his chin was so open it was almost criminal. Jumping up Lico placed a punch right on the chin with his fist covered in stone, Lico had put more power behind his jump than he intended though as tearing cracking sounds could be heard coming from its neck as the head was partially ripped from its normal place on the body. It disgusted Lico but he was mid air so there was nothing he could do except land on his ass.
  90.
  91. Lico looked away from the wound he had inflicted and wanted to vomit, though the sense of victory and the feeling of accomplishment were still vivid in his mind. standing up and walking over to Drochi. Lico felt obligated to survey the battlefield seeing that kid still around, "I'm glad ya didn't get hurt kid, what's your name, and sorry for the mess." Lico said grimaceing as he gave one last look at the body.
  92. (Cadmus Lico)
  93. [11:51:53] Drochi watched as his friend finally did something useful other than being a distraction, and actually landed a blow that Drochi could be proud of. The fight was over quickly after Lico's power-packed fist impacted the kaor's skull, and nearly sent it flying off the top of it's shoulders. It was a sickening sight, really. But with all the battles they'd seen, Drochi was a bit desensitized to a Yokai's death, especially when the whole body was still visible. It made it hard to feel any kind of pity for a creature who's sole purpose was to cause chaos and death.
  94.
  95. Walking over to it, Drochi decided to be safe, as he knew that a Yokai's healing prowess rivaled that of the greatest healing magi around. Placing his palm on the Kaor's fallen body, Drochi forced pillared spikes of ice into, and out of, the creature's body, perferating it purfusely. It was only after that, Drochi silently nodded to himself, and turned his attention to the young adult before them that Lico was already speaking to.
  96.
  97. "Yes, uh, Hello. Sorry about all that. I'm glad to see you've already gotten to be friends with Lico, there. My name's Drochi. It's a pleasure to meet you. And, as for what that Yokai was, to be specific, it was a Kaor-class level of Yokai. Very messy business, indeed.", he said calmly, now that the fight was over with, he could relax a bit more.
  98. (Drochi Tkach)
  99. [12:00:25] It was over, Kariya couldn't do much, he was getting worried, but it seems that he didn't do anything, he was still a little bit uncomfortable with his mastery over the lightning and his teleporting skills, but wouldn't let that feeling to flourish for now.
  100.
  101. Bowing to Lico, he was a little bit surprise, Kariya was in fact small, yet no one ever confused him with a kid, well, looks like the young just got a new nickname for his colection.
  102.
  103. -I'm not a kid, sir, i'm 17, the name is Kariya Aíma, atleast you didn't call me as "girl", so... pleased to meet.
  104.
  105. The teen drakanite would say while he lends his sword to his back one again, while turning off his lightning aura, with a glance over his shoulder, he would stare Drochi and the dead yokai.
  106.
  107. -Was that really necessary? Kaor class, i see. Never heard about thoose, it seems to be reallt powerfull, well, it's dead now, it's also a pleasure to meet you, Drochi.
  108. (Kariya Aíma)
  109. [12:11:31] Lico listened to Kariya's reply and Laughed as he said he wasn't a child. "Oh, I see my mistake," Lico said stretching and giving a yawn, that battle had drained him and Lico knew he would eventually need a nap. he had used most of his mana in that last attack and even though it was slowly coming back Lico didn't feel like he was in tip top shape.
  110.
  111. Looking around he didn't see anyone else so he asked "So, do you travel alone? I didn't see any friends who actually attempted to hide from that kaor instead of standing in the open." it seemed strange to Lico that anyone would ever want to travel alone. "how unbelievably dull" Lico thought to himself gauging the teen's reaction to his words. this had been a pretty good conversation so far at least in Licos standards.
  112.
  113. sitting down while still making eye contact with Kariya Lico gave off a sigh. that battle had lasted a bit long compared to many others and Lico knew if surrounded there was no way the duo would be able to fight their way out with out dying from mana loss or taking a bad hit.
  114. (Cadmus Lico)
  115. [12:29:26] Drochi shrugged, not really bothered with the outcome of the events so far. He was just glad they were able to take down a Kaor, finally. It didn't seem like they were a common sight these days, so ending one seemed like it could be likely to put an actualy dent in the Yokai population, locally, at least. Then again, it was just roaming out in the open randomly. That raised more than a few questions in Drochi's mind. They would need to be answered at a later time, though. There were always more pressing matters at hand.
  116.
  117. Turning his attention to the young adult, Drochi nodded. "I believe it was, yes. Yokai are known for having incredible healing factors, ones that allow them to regenerate almost anything. So, in order to prevent that from somehow happening here, I made certain it was dead, rather than just assuming. You would not punch a skeleton, and just assume it was defeated if it toppled over, same principle here.", he explained before looking over to Lico.
  118.
  119. "And, I'm sorry to cut this conversation short, but we have other things to be getting to. Between the fight, and already being late for other important business, I do believe we'll be in for a right thrashing later on if we don't get a move on. As I said, it was a pleasure to meet you, young one.", Drochi said, already motioning for Lico to follow him, and waving farewell at the other person.
  120. (Drochi Tkach)
  121. [12:34:33] Would just put his hood on and continue his way, seeing that the both warrios were going to leave to finish their business, Kariya had also things to do, but that just wasted so much of his time, maybe he would need to train more... he wasn't strong enough.
  122.
  123. Kariya was unexperienced, his mastery at becoming one with his blade, at using his lightning, his speed, his dashes, everything haves to be improved, Kariya have a lot to do, but he needs to return to cinderfall to rest.
  124.
  125. -Farewell...
  126.
  127. He says turning his back and leading to the current city he is living at.
  128. (Kariya Aíma)
  129. [12:34:33] Kariya Aíma: (Thx for the RP.
  130. [12:43:56] Lico followed Drochi seeing Kariya wasn't interested in answering him so Lico just went off waving back at the teen. Lico didn't know how what to think about the person they just met. they were a little strange, Lico had never heard of anyone not knowing about Kaor at that age, "This is a str4ange world, isn't it" Lico said under his breath following close behind Drochi.
  131.
  132. "You need to stop being so reckless," Lico said giving Drochi a glare aimed at the back of his head. Licoi was thankful they didn't die, them succeeding like that was most likely just pure luck and that's what upset Lico more than anything. the true danger of the situation almost seemed lost on Drochi. and Lico expected him to just laugh it off like always.
  133. (Cadmus Lico)
