  1. Zris lunged towards the aspiring scientist with the intent to literally abduct him. We out here.
  2. (Zris'lepidop)
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. Oh gosh, the being just wanted a view of the situation and also.. Take a closer look at the bug people and now.. HE WAS RUNNING AWAY! The skinny one put his legs to work and tried to get away from the bipedal moth.
  6. (Acantho)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. Trips him
  10. (Commandant)
  11.
  12. ( Failed the flee, had to fight )
  13.
  14. Well.. He tried to run, but he wasn't faster than the moth! And to make matters worse? A larger insect next to this one.. It tripped him.. And at this point, Acantho's face was one of clear fear.
  15.
  16. "No, no, no! Leave me! I'm was alright here..
  17.
  18. I could go see Oak some other time!
  19.
  20. Help!" His youthful voice exclaimed as he tried to break free - but without much success!
  21.
  22. Strength was not his strong point.. Yet, he used some of his gravity to try to well.. Slow and cast some pressure upon the creature, in order to escape from its grasp!
  23. (Acantho)
  24.
  25. [ Combat Happens, the Scientist loses - temp for a day ( 6 on the roll ) ]
  26.
  27. What was she even fighting for?
  28.
  29. Zris'lepidop had no idea; but it mattered little. The moth's wings offered that very same magenta and orange glow from before as pent up mana released itself with every swipe of her thin rapier-like dagger.
  30.
  31. Even as gravity aimed to weigh her downwards and prevent her own domination in the battle, the small moth seemingly shrugged most of the effects off of her. Her exoskeleton hardened in places where it was necessary, never overworking herself and never in spots where it wasn't needed.
  32.
  33. Her wings fluttered producing a buzzing sound as she practically danced through the gravity and the hits of magic which Acantho summoned forth to defend himself. Even his cries of help were promptly ignored once Zris truly got into the zone, so to speak.
  34.
  35. The dagger finds itself jabbed through his torso several times - producing light and airy fleshy wounds from which blood spills. But it isn't until the crescendo of the fight does something truly unordinary happen.
  36.
  37. A stinger, situated perfectly at the crux of her elbow slithered out from amongst her exoskeleton and Acantho would find it unceremoniously jabbed into his abdomen near his heart.
  38.
  39. Whatever had ser the Moth off nearly had disastrous consequences for the young scientist. He could have died here - and as her elbows relents from amongst his innards, she allowed him in that moment respite and rest.
  40.
  41. Her head inclined as she peered at those watching, though eventually a hand reached up to brush herself off.
  42.
  43. "... We leave now. I have...." An exhale was given. "Food to create."
  44. (Zris'lepidop)
  45.
  46. Honestly, this situation went from worse to totally hopeless! Honestly, the scientist didn't expect this.. He was just following the tip of a teacher of medicine and wanted to study the creature's anatomy up close! In order to 'offer assitance' to such.
  47.
  48. Well, not anymore..
  49.
  50. As the creature advanced.. The scientist started running around! To behind trees and other corners - while manipulating gravity in order to delay the moth's movements enough so that he could then attack with his shurikens and punches..
  51.
  52. But against the creature's tough carapace, the chitin that covered her body - it was no use. As the effects of gravity were basically negligible due to how little magic the young man had and his combat capabilities?
  53.
  54. Ha, it was a joke.
  55.
  56. And so, with no one to help.. He was at the mercy of being! Which cut him through the torso with the dagger, until... From nowhere a sting came out and this one, was simply stabbed into his torso! Close to the direction of the heart.
  57.
  58. Oh no!
  59.
  60. But.. Narrowly avoiding such heart..
  61.
  62. Wounded, he staggered backwards and in that, the moth walked away.. And then, with the strength he had left - which was not much.. He started to run! Putting as much distance as possible between him and the insect.
  63.
  64. "Never again.. I follow the advice of that.. Caliel! Gah!" He exclaimed as he walked away, finally disappearing into the woods as conflict continued to develop.
  65.
  66. Since some had now set themselves against that creature.
  67. (Acantho)
  68.
  69. [ After escaping, conflict began at the mines.. While Acantho sought some medical help
  70.
  71. One can only wonder what end will this silly happening take ]
