Sweetness and healing - Lila audition

Lila was in her bed, playing with her dolls, and she was playing her favorite game, which was called, "Doctor." As she saw that one of the girl toys had a "boo-boo" she did put a bandage on it. "There, all better!" She said calmly and hugged it. When trying to reach another doll from the shelf, she accidentally fell off the bed and she fell on her hip. At first, the pain did hurt and she was about to cry, but, when touching the hip gently, she felt the pain being taken away quickly. "Oh, I am my own doctor!" She said to herself in a cheerful manner, as she ran to to her parents.

"Mommy! Daddy! I made myself feel better! When I fell down off my bed, I touched my hip and it just felt better right away!" As her mother heard that, she was shocked in a good way. "Wow, Lila! That's amazing, that way, mommy and daddy won't have to take care of you when you fall.." Her father, after hearing that, did feel concerned. Lila, when being in the same room as her parents, she did sense that her night felt excited and her father was full of concern. "Honey, this is really unusual. I mean, what kind of kid can heal herself? Isn't that, unusual?" Her father commented, having a point. "Well, I suppose you have a point, might as well bring her to a doctor."

When Lila was at the doctor's office, he did examine her carefully an he raised his eyebrows. "Well, I assume that your daughter was born with this, healing power. Is doctors have no idea on where she got it, along with other humans and children. She may as well use the power for an advantage, perhaps maybe to heal others and herald. It might as well come in handy. There is no cure for this power that Lila has, however, she'll be fine." The doctor commented with a grin and gave her a lollipop. "See, mommy and daddy, the doctor said that I'll be fine!" As her parents heard her positive comment, they felt as though their daughter could use the power for an advantage, perhaps one day be a nurse or be a sidekick for a hero.

When Lila got home from the doctor, she could not wait to practice her healing powers on other parts of the body incase they got hurt. She then had another power that the doctor that did not explain about, and that was empathy, which was detecting feelings, which she didn't mind to have either. She started to heal her finger when she accidentally hurt it from scarf hung it to get rid of an itch. "Perhaps this power will be for a good cause!" The little girl thought to herself with a cheerful smile.

As she grew into her teens, she thought that her powers of both empathy and healing would be useful at a nurses's office, but, not as much as a hero. One day, she saw a flyer while walking in Justice Park. "What's this?" She thought, as she looked at the paper. The paper mentioned that it was calling all students with any power to learn on how to be a hero. "Hm, sounds like a fun school to try out!" She thought to herself as she was taking the flyer from the bench. As she was walking home, she heard a little girl crying. She detected that the child had fear and hurt. She looked like she got slightly injured when playing on the swings. So, she ran off to the crying girl with a look of concern. "Oh, my. Are you alright?" She asked the crying child, while helping her up. "My knee hurts!" The girl cried. Lila, sensing the sadness, touched the girl's knee and, a wave of clear air fell upon the knee for a couple of seconds. A couple of seconds later, the knee was feeling better. "What the? How did you do that, miss?" The girls asked, when being in a shocked, but, surprised reaction. Lila thought of a way to explain to the young girl, in which she could understand. "Well, I have this special power on where I touch the part of the body on where it hurts and it heals! It's cool, right?" The girl, hearing that, nodded and gave her a hug. "Yes, it's super duper cool! What's your name?" Lila acknowledged her, detecting curiosity. "My name's Lila! I'm happy that you're feeling better! Well, I'm off to go to a school on where I learn on how to use my healing powers, so, I can help people like you, feel better! Bye!" Lila greeted, and a couple of seconds later, left with a wave.

As soon as she got to the academy, she fillers out the application. When it came to, "alias", she had to come up with one that would of course, be hero related. "Hm, healing factor.. Yeah, that could work!" She thought to herself as she wrote her information down. She even put down on how she healed a little girl in the park on the way to the place, and wrote down her other power that she would like to know about, and that was enpathy. As soon as she got done, she smiled and put the papers on the administrator's desk. "I hope I get in!" She said to herself while going back to her house.

As soon as she got home, she could not wait to tell her parents about her day. "Mom, dad. I used my power to heal a small little girl in Justice Park, and I signed up for the "All Stars Academy!" Lila said, in her excited tone. As her parents heard that, they gave her a hug. "Wow, that's wonderful, Princess. I'm sure the academy would love to have you be in the school. They could use a heroine like you healing citizens!" Her mother exclaimed, with a proud tone in her voice. "Thanks, mom. I'm sure that I could heal all sorts of people to make them feel better!" Lila responded, with high expectations.

A couple of months later, while Lila was practicing her power on her cat, "Precious", her dad came home with a letter. "Lila, I believe this letter came for you." Her father said, handing his daughter the letter. Could this be the acceptance letter from the academy? Lila opened up the letter and it mentioned that she was accepted into the academy. "I made it in!" She called, as she ran to show the letter to her parents. "Dear, I knew that you'll make it in!"
Her mother commented, with a giant grind and hugged her daughter. "Congrats sweetheart." Her father commented and kissed her head. "Thank you both. I hope to make a difference after I graduate!" Lila commented, with a hopeful attitude appearing on her face. Lila not only felt as though the academy was going to teach her something but also, felt really glad that she got into the academy on where she'll be able to upgrade her power,  perhaps her power will go from simple healing to maximum healing and that way, she'll heal people in need. She also hoped that she'll be learn something about empathy, a power that she had since she was born, but sometimes knew on how to use it, and hopefully learn about what that certain power could do. Although empathy could obviously detect feelings, she wondered if she could sense feeling from her brain, or from simply using the sense of hearing; there was one way to find out, and that was, of course learning a thing or two at the academy.
