- Will Gauss > Hello. :)
- Erksine > hey
- Will Gauss > I saw in Recruitment that you have max orca skills, what else do you enjoy doing in Eve?
- Erksine > well
- Erksine > with that pilot just orca
- Erksine > main is getting into pvp
- Will Gauss > Ahh.
- Erksine > but hes going back to 0 sec, so dont worry about him
- Erksine > or me
- Erksine > actually
- Will Gauss > Hm?
- Erksine > yall based in high sec i assum?
- Will Gauss > Wormhole.
- Erksine > interesting
- Erksine > never done much with WH'
- Erksine > whats that like
- Will Gauss > Right now I am using a class 3 to do reactions in and that is generating a lot of profit for me, but I'm a 4 man corp in a 300 man alliance it's time to grow. :)
- Erksine > how long you been recruiting?
- Will Gauss > About a week ago I got fed up with trying to mind, fuel, and manage all 5 towers all by myself and started planning how I'm going to move forward.
- Erksine > i bet
- Erksine > 5 towers gets old
- Will Gauss > Yeah, the w-space system has a static highsec exit but POS fuel is large and 5 large towers need a lot of it.
- Erksine > can you do the moon goo in WH space?
- Will Gauss > No, but sleeper salvage is worth an absolute killing, all your mining belts have ABC in them, and gas mining can be very profitable.
- Erksine > yes
- Will Gauss > Without a fleet however, I can't really milk the wormhole for what it's really worth as anything more than a convenient place to spam towers.
- Erksine > so there are gas belts there
- Will Gauss > Yeah, the gas is used in T3 manufacturing.
- Erksine > and boosters
- Erksine > which is about to boom
- Will Gauss > Not w-space gas, w-space gas is pure T3.
- Erksine > oh
- Erksine > used to 0 sec gas
- Will Gauss > Yeah, k-space 0.0 gas is booster-tastic. :)
- Will Gauss > We occasionally even get 0.0 openings so I've been doing occasional lucrative mining raids because they usually open so far behind defensive lines that nobody's home.
- Erksine > ha
- Erksine > so the big question.....
- Erksine > and you may not know yet being a 1 man show
- Erksine > do/how orca pilots get paid in your corp
- Will Gauss > When I was military commander for an alliance before, I had an IGB tool which allowed people to log their work.
- Erksine > one you made?
- Will Gauss > I am going to repaint that and use it again here, where all participants in things like mining and hauling ops log how much they hauled of what material.
- Will Gauss > Yes.
- Erksine > ok
- Erksine > what was the orca take of the pie?
- Erksine > how is the ratting inside WH?
- Will Gauss > What I am thinking right now is that a total of 75% of the Jita cost of those materials goes to the people involved in the mining of those materials. I'd split it half and half between haulers and miners, but this is adjustable depending on player
- Will Gauss > expectations.
- Will Gauss > Ratting is lucrative.
- Will Gauss > Battleships will usually drop an item called <url=showinfo:30259>Melted Nanoribbons</url> in their salvage.
- Will Gauss > This item is worth about 5 mil per. Some battleships will drop two.
- Erksine > dern
- Erksine > corp gets the other 25% from mining?
- Will Gauss > There are no bounties on the sleepers themselves, however.
- Erksine > oh
- Erksine > can you JF to and from the WH>
- Will Gauss > Corp doesn't gain 25% per se, because the materials would go directly into the manufacture of more equipment and hardware for the corp to use.
- Will Gauss > You can't, about the largest thing that can get inside this particular wormhole is an orca, but I will be constructing capitals inside here for defense and convenience.
- Erksine > hmm
- Erksine > well send me a mail.... got a friend who is also looking for a corp
- Erksine > we had been talking about WH
- Erksine > but never been in one for much
- Erksine > and we will have a talk about your corp
- Erksine > just a quick rundown of the selling points so i can tell him
- Will Gauss > Allright, I'll pastebin our conversation and put it in the mail so you can use it for reference when talking. I will likely be on all day tomorrow, so if either of you two have questions I can be contacted.
- Erksine > ok
- Erksine > thanks
