Alexithymiaa: Alexithymiaa: -Steph sat at her desk with her stack of mail next to her, carefully going through each envelope and shifting over to her computer to pay bills online because easier. Isley sat on the corner of the desk just sort of watching through kitty eyes while Penny laid on the couch waiting for someone to do something exciting.-
Covet: Felix had just come back inside after taking Nugget out to go to the bathroom because tiny puppy and tiny bladders. Setting the pup down to go get a drink he made his way into the office where Steph was at. " Hey Red, what are you up to?"
Alexithymiaa: -She lifted her eyes from her computer to look over at him coming into the room, her attention bouncing back to her computer. "Just paying some bills so they don't turn off our electric or water. Ya' know, insignificant things. Everything okay?" She asked, opening up her email so she could grab her payment confirmations and whatnot.-
Covet: "I'm pretty sure those things are significant. I know you like your showers and baths." He told her then sat down at his desk, watching Nugget waddle in with his bone to lay down on the floor with it. "Yeah things are good, just took Nugget out to pee. Smells a little like rain out there though."
Alexithymiaa: "You say that like you don't also enjoy your showers." She shot back at him, replying to a few emails as she spoke. "I wouldn't be surprised if it rained again. I feel like all it does is rain around this time of year." She stopped on one of the emails, narrowing her eyes and opening it to skim the contents. "Do you know who Liz.. er, Elizabeth Reiger is?"-
Covet: "I do, so what's my part of the bills?" He asked her. "I mean, I'm living here now so I should be pitching in." Felix added then tilted his head, "I feel like I should know this name.. and that it's vaguely familiar... But I can't place it. Who is it? Did they die?"
Alexithymiaa: "You can pay..." She paused, trying to figure something out on the fly since she honestly hadnt given it much thought. "I don't know. I'll get back to you on that." She reread the email before spinning in her chair to face him. "She's a singer. Pop music, one hundred percen tnot your thing at all. But, she's good friends with Annaliese Roth and also happens to be from Portland and I know her. Well apparently she heard the songs that Anna bought from me, and wants me to write her a new single. I just got an email from her rep."-
Covet: "You better. Because I refuse to let you pay all the bills when I'm now increasing both your power and water on a more permanent basis." He said then nodded his head, "Oh okay. That would probably be why. That's pretty cool are you going to do it?" He asked her leaning over on his desk.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm willing to bet the bills don't go up at all from last month." She shot back at him, beginning to nod her head. "Yeah. Or at least I'm going to try. She's got a huge voice and I've never really written for anyone like that." She saw lights flash in the window and spun around to look behind her, seeing her father's car pulling into the driveway, instantly beginning to grumble.-
Covet: "Even still, don't forget to tell me my part." He said giving her a glare, "That Anna chic has a pretty power house voice and you did fine with the ones you gave her." Felix said then turned his head when he heard her grumble, " Who's that?"
Alexithymiaa: "But the songs I wrote for Anna weren't quite Liz's style. Everything she sings is over the top." She planted her hand son the arms of her chair and pushed herself up, pausing and slowly lowering herself back down because she didnt want to walk to the front door in front of Felix. "My father..." She said in monotone, running a hand back through her hair. "Can you get the door?" // Anthony made his way up to the front door in his fucking dad jeans and polo shirt, knocking on the door to send Penny into a frenzy.-
Covet: "I still think you can handle it." He said with a smile, then gave a long slow nod of his head, " Are you back on speaking terms with him since the whole dinner thing?" He asked curiously then got up to go get the door, mostly to make Penny calm down because she'd gotten Nugget barking in the door way of the office. "Hey.. you hush I got it, someone's here." He said to the dog then opened the door for Steph's dad. "Mr. Robinson. How are you tonight, C'mon in quick before Penny decides to make a break."
Alexithymiaa: "Vaguely.." She said in a short voice, pushing her glasses up on her nose and eyeing the door, waiting for the two of them to appear. // Anthony smiled at Felix when he answered the door, looking down at Penny and slipping into the house so he could close the door behind him. He leaned his hand down to scratch at Penny's head. "Doing alright, how are you Felix?" He asked, not at all surprised that Felix was the one answering the door despite not knowing he lived here now. "Stephanie around?"-
Covet: "Not too bad. Yeah, she's in the office." Felix said then leaned down to pick up his small ball of wrinkles. "C'mere you, You can't just sit in the doorway like that." He grabbed the pup's bone and sat back down in his office chair with the dog in his lap playing with the bone in Felix's hand.
Alexithymiaa: -She exhaled deeply when Felix and her father came into the office, folding her hands together. "Yes?" // Anthony followed Felix into the office, taking a seat down on the couch and looking at Nugget because he didnt feel like he remembered him, but with so many animals he didnt want to be offensive by forgetting one in case he'd been here the whole time. "What a warm welcome. How surprising." He said with a roll of his eyes. "I actually came to invite you over to Claire's for Mother's Day. We know the situation with your mother isn't the best right now, and Claire wanted to make sure you knew she was there for you to spend the day with. It would mean a lot to her if you accepted her."-
Covet: "HA!" Felix said at first then piped down because he already knew the answer to that one and it amused him greatly.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph stared at him through wide eyes, glancing at Felix with his little outburst and giving him a fucking look because stfu it's not funny. "Yeah... I'm going to pass on that, thanks. Felix's mom is actually coming to visit for that week and we'rew going to spend mother's day with her since we actually like her and she's actually like a mother to me and all." // Anthony frowned, his eyes shifting back and forth between Steph and Felix. "Well it's nice that your mother is coming to spend Mother's Day with you, but that doesnt mean you can't take some time for Claire also. You can get to know her daughters and we can spend some quality family time together."-
Covet: Felix put his head down, then looked up once her dad had said his name, "No offense, Mr. Robinson. But after what Steph told me about what Claire's done, I don't really think Steph has any obligation to her. If it was for you, that would be one thing, but if this is all just for Claire, that has nothing to do with Steph."
Alexithymiaa: -She set her jaw, desperately trying not to get upset over this. "Exactly what he said. Claire is literally nothing to me and frankly, she's a bitch. I would much prefer to spend my day with Felix's mom than anyone else. As far as I'm concerned, the only actual family I have? Lives in New York. So if this is the only reason you've reached out to me in a month, then I think we're done here." // Anthony shook his head, resisting the urge to interrupt. "Stephanie Nicole, watch your mouth when you're talking about her. That could be your step mother."-
Covet: "With all due respect, that still doesn't require any sort of entitlement from Steph. That's a you problem not a family problem. Now normally I would agree with you about what she's calling her. But again...her personal experience tells me that she's got every right to say as much. Think of it as an observation, not an insult." Felix said being a smart ass.

Alexithymiaa: "What?" She blurted out, her hands coming down hard onto the desk as she gawked at her father on the couch. "You're thinking of marrying her? You're out of your mind if you think you can repaint this happy family story with your new crazy girlfriend and her spoiled kids. You want something real? Try being genuine to the two kids you already have because last I checked, you haven't once asked about Bryan or me or literally anything that doesn't revolve around you. So what that said, we're done here. Let yourself out." She snapped, pushing up from the chair again and wincing at the pain in her knee. She sucked in a deep breath and started to walk by them, trying to keep her limp as subtle as possible as she walked out of the office and headed across the house in the direction of the bedroom. // Anthony just watched her before switching his attention to Felix. "Don't you have some place else to be, worrying about your own family? This is none of your business and no one asked for your opinion."-
Covet: Felix noticed Steph's limp and watched her legs for a moment before he looked to her dad. "As far as I see it, Mr. Robinson...." He said, standing up to set his dog down, and walked over to Anthony. Putting his hands on his shoulders he walked him towards the door, "Steph is my family, my mom accepts her more than she accepts me or my brother. And No.. I don't have any place else to be, as this is my home too now. But.. you'd know that if you were a tuned in Dad. It was great to see you again. Maybe she'll be more willing to talk next month. I wouldn't hold my breath though." He said as he opened the door, thankful that Penny had followed behind Steph
Alexithymiaa: -She slammed her bedroom foor closed once she made it there, pulling herself up onto the bed to sit with her legs extended out in front of her. Penny jumped up and laid her head across her lap. // Anthony walked to the front door, shrugging Felix's hands off of him. "What are you talking about? I check in all the time. It's not on me if she chooses not to tell me things and I dont appreciate the attitude." He stepped out onto the porch, turning around to look at Felix. "Please tell her to call me when she's ready to talk about this."-
Covet: "I think you and her have vastly different ideas of what 'all the time' means. Your communication could use some work. I don't know what attitude you're talking about sir. I'm completely calm and happy right now. Tell you what, I'll think about it, but I don't think she has anything left to say. Have a good night Mr. Robinson. Drive safe. Don't worry about telling Claire Hi, she probably won't care anyways." He said closing the door and locking the bajillion locks. Before he took a deep breath and grabbed one of the ice pacs in the freezer before walking to the bedroom door and gave it a knock. "Red, he's gone."
Alexithymiaa: -Hearing Felix's voice on the other side of the door, she rolled onto her side and curled her body around Penny, stroking her fur. "It's not locked." // With a huff, Anthony turned to walk back down to his car so he could get in and drive off.-
Covet: He opened the door and came in, holding on to the ice pack. "So.. when did it happen.. and how long is has it been hurting?" He asked her as he walked over and held it out to her, completely glossing over the conversation that just went down with her dad. His face was set in a serious look.
Alexithymiaa: -She looked up at Felix when he came into the room with the ice pack, sitting up and reaching out to take it from him. She set it down on top of her knee, pursing her lips and avoiding his eyes because she felt kind of guilty already. "Tuesday... but it's been getting better. It's not as sharp as it was a few days ago."-
Covet: "And you chose not to tell me why?" He asked as he went about getting undressed for the soon to be sleep things. Nugget was whinning at the edge of the bed looking up. Stubby legs can't jump that high.
Alexithymiaa: "Because... I didnt want you to worry about it. And I didnt want you to think I needed help or anything... because it's fine." She looked down over the edge of the bed at Nugget, patting the blanket as if that was going to be the difference of him being able to jump up there.-
Covet: "Don't tease him, you know his dwarfy ass will never be able to jump up on the bed." He said lifting the whiney pup up to the matress. "Or I could have made sure things were easier on you. It's been hurting for almost a week, it's not as fine as you seem to think it is, especially if it was a sharp pain you had until the other day." Felix grumbled as he climbed into bed. " We're hitting up a physician tomorrow, just to make sure."
Alexithymiaa: "I dont want you to make things easier on me. I just want to go about things normally. I dont want to be treated any different, or for you to look at me any way you wouldnt normally. That's my point. And I definitely dont want to go to the doctor. Really, it's fine. It's already getting better." She slipped off the edge of the bed, tugging down her jeans to pitch into the laundry bin.-
Covet: "If your hurt, you can't do shit normally. You're just going to make it worse. And I didn't say there was an option to not go. It's not the hospital or anything crazy. Just a sports physician at the gym. No needles and mild to no prodding." He mumbled as he took his hearing aid out and set it on the side table then turned over so that he was watching her strip down with a stern look until she was back in bed and off her knee.
