- No longer hammer the 10 Legend Spirits + 3000SP Spirit Board Challenges
- Instead I hammer the 20 Fire Emblem KOs + Palutena Classic Mode Challenges
- Changes to Classic Mode Challenges section:
- Palutena (obviously), Byleth, and Lucina classic routes are all cut.
- The 1 battle I used to do as Marth, thankfully is also cut.
- Fox 0.0 added to compensate for the missing Team Battle + Giant fights.
- Changes to the Spirit Board sections:
- Mii Brawler (special combination 3211) is used instead of Banjo-Kazooie.
- Tekken + Kingdom Hearts boards are both now done (my last PB was before even Kazuya + Tekken Spirit Board dropped if you can believe it)
- Kingdom Hearts is done section 1, being able to get the Xion spirit helps immediately with WoL and also Spirit Board Section 2 (ability is Trade-Off Attacks)
- Tekken is done during section 2.
- Dragon Quest Boards moved to section 2.
- Every Legend DLC Spirit is fought except for the ones in the Persona and Dragon Quest Boards.
- Terra spirit in KH board is now done instead of the Tooty spirit in the BK board for the 3 Advanced Spirits fought spiritless challenge.
- Changes to World of Light section:
- No longer use Lucas, just stick with DK once I switch to him up until I switch to Ridley. Reason being is Lucas ended up loading a bit slower after I retested it a couple years back
- IIRC I wanted to do less gym checks, instead of every 1.5 hours every 2 hours.
- The DK Island section is now done earlier, right after fighting Pokemon Trainer. I decided it was worth shoehorning in about 1.5 hours earlier into the run so that I could have access to the Funky Kong shop earlier, and also so that I would have access to all 5 SP shops about 45 minutes earlier. Basically for more chances to get more spirits. Run continues the same as the previous route both after beating DK Island and where I would normally go through DK Island.
- Will be doing some dismissals right after clearing the Rainbow leading out of the Floating Islands. And will also sell cores through the Inventory during this part of the run instead of selling items during the NG+ portion. I realized that I can get an additional 1000 - 1500 SP just from dismissing Cores in the Inventory after dismissing their spirits. I have 14 Legends I can dismiss at this point so I should be able to get over 20000SP just from that alone. I'm usually pretty low on SP from the end of Light Realm up until after Mysterious Dungeon in the Dark Realm anyways and with this extra boost I could theoretically buy some more expensive spirits if I see them at an earlier point in the run.
- Changes to Smash Challenges section:
- Changed up the characters + strats up a little for the main smash battles portion
