 It seems that August wasn't the typical bumpkin as other would think. Including myself. I had the strategic influence, as well as the advantage when it came to the terms of speed and mobility, however. That raw strength that was within the man had began to kick in when August had needed it most.

Each of his blows were more devastating than the next. More tiresome for me. The flick of his blade was not wasted when he had focused his strength. And that, was one of his greatest advantages. As the battle had slowly finished. I was sent to the ground..

But at my defeat, my star would glow a radiating warmth towards me... It...put me at ease, like it would be our best fighting with each other. This, would put a smile on my face. As me and Nezha were feeling upon the same page.


I slowly rose towards my feet, feeling the connection with both my star, and myself rising intentsely. I would maintain my blade stance, with the tip of myblade facing my opponent. I had certainly asked him.

"Care for an encore?"

As I eagerly waited a reply.

[11:38] August Riley says, "- Eh, really? I'd rather fight Kimiko, or something. Variety's important."
[11:39] Kimiko Takamura whispers: Not fighting him.
[11:39] Katsuki Takamura says, "Oh come now, im just getting warmed up dear."
[11:40] The boy scratched at his forehead - fighting Katsuki was a pain, mainly due to the fact that she was capable of damaging him pretty badly due to his soft, tender age.

"That's the problem, lady. I guess we can go again, whatever."

[11:42] The boy kicked against the ground, propelling himself up with a burst of energy.

[11:42] Katsuki Takamura says, "Ah. This will be fun."
[11:42] An encoure? Oh dear, theis was going to get interesting. Regardless, the endearing runescribe sat back and watched from a safe distance. However, in their hands, simply little runes.

[11:43] Mahone asks, "The Chieftain's great, but at the end of the day he's still a human like the rest of us, after all. A man's gotta sleep from time to time, y'know?"

[11:44] Zeran says, "Hmmm....noted"
[11:45] Declan says, "Nice"
[11:47] Declan continues to watch as the sixteen year old young man was putting in all sorts of work in this battle. Despite their age, their actual prowess was becoming explosive. The runescribe nodded as he manipulated the runes in his hands and studying them simutaenously.

[11:51] Declan widens his eyes in surprise. It seemed age to defeat over-whelming experince. A simple nod and he found himself going back into his runes and learning about different variants.

[11:56] Zeran says, "Sight i wonder if i can just lay down here and fall asleep "
[12:04] After leaving and locking his house up he then walked to the square where there seemed to be a few people but not really a lot so that only meant the rest of the people were in the training fields. He walked over and saw the ninja girl standing behind the woman Maraki was due to fight in one year. He wondered if they knew each other closely. Either way it would still be fun, it should just about be three years since the bet was made when next year comes around. Sia knew Maraki's power level and it would be a fun fight to watch.

Though right now at the moment she seemed to be fighting August who had changed his look as well as Appa did. Maybe they had a talk about it and decided to change there looks together.

Either way it happens he just liked the old look better.

[12:11] Kimiko Takamura exclaims, "I shall SHOW YOU THE LIGHT!"
[12:11] Kimiko Takamura asks, "Are you a Magi or Melee?"
[12:12] Zeran says, "gonna be a ninja :D"
[12:12] I have drawn my sword once more. My feelings with Nezha run true August would trade one of the most heaviest blows that I have ever received. As the cuts that August had performed would run deep into my body.

For the start, as much as I hate to admit it, Augusts strikes of pure melee energy would give me as much pain as I have felt in a long time. But with Nezha, I would grin and bear it. I would bear every strike with pride.

For I now knew. I wasn't fighting on my lonesome like I always have. I had a companion that has helped me through suffering and pain, as well as the highest highs that I could ever possibly achieve in my life. And cause of that. I wished.

"I wish.. We wish! To push BEYOND!"

I yelled for the crowd to hear. Me and my star wanted this victory more than ever. So much so that I subconsciously released more energy than what I should have... My Mana circuits burn within me, both strengthening me. But giving me a lot of pain todeal with.

As the overflowing cosmic overcame me, I would use every moment that Nezha and I had to go all in. This was a full gamble, and our victory was in our minds.

As the cosmic energies filled me with invigoration, I would swing my blade at August, with new found strength further surpassing his. It would fill me with a smile knowing that this risk was worth being taken. As the boy would have a final stand. I would overcharge my energy once more Razing my blade stance further....

Cosmic flames would wisp behind me. As I would Dash with blinding speed against the man. I would hit my opponent with a slice. As I sheathed my blade. The boy would fall to the ground...

However, this new found power had taken a toll on me as well as I would lean upon my greatsword. My mana circuits would hurt severely due to this action. But at least now I understand the extent of the star. Now, I just needed to maintain this ability better...

[12:20] With the battle taken to the sky, August and Katsuki would continuously collide. He went in with confidence, having claimed victory in the match prior. Why, now, would it be any different? Katsuki rushed into him, unleashing havoc with her blade while August whipped up a storm with each slash. Their fighting styles were quite different, with one going for a more strength-based approach while the other focused on speed.

As the battle wore on, August was becoming more and more unfocused. He was getting distracted by other things, his focus on his enemy wavered significantly. This caused him to be swatted from the air and launched towards the ground, at which time Katsuki zoomed in for the final blow, slicing the boy across the chest before sheathing her blade.

He fell to a knee, keeping himself propped up - he had to question himself, just what had changed? What could have significantly impacted the battle to that extent, to bring him from an overwhelming victoryto an embarrassing loss. Those questions, while valid, were ones he'd faced many times before. He rose to his feet, patting himself down.

"Phew-ee, that Cosmic stuff sure puts in work." he comments, limbering himself up with a few stretches. As it was only a spar, there weren't all that many lasting injuries.

He stepped off to the side, his expression somewhat questioning - why did he lose, what was different? He wasn't able to land as many attacks, which was somewhat obvious, but what was the reason for that? Simply, it was consistency - he would often have flickers of intense focus, leading to a pretty sound victory. Other times, he'd entirely lose interest and find himself looking elsewhere, only to get smacked down. It was a learning curve, to be sure.
