personality ➵ Jiyong is very relaxed and really hyper. She totally different to what she's like on stage. She loves to have fun and often does aegyo to get what she wants. She is often seen as expressionless, but this is only because she doesn't express her feelings well. Jiyong is secretly a ball of cuteness and is loved by her members. Her reactions to horror films are the best however because when the members are getting scared, Jiyong has to process what has just happened and then she gets freaked out. She is normally quite sleepy as well, falling asleep before their live shows.

background ➵ Growing up for Jiyong was hard as her father lived in Russia and her mother lived in Seoul with them. In school, Jiyong was more interested in writing song lyrics instead of learning, causing her to get lower grades than she intended. In high school, she bucked her ideas up and started studying but then as she got older, finally deciding that her passion was for music. She had heard about SM Entertainment after one of her best friends, Jaehyun from NCT, auditioned and passed. She did the same and became a trainee, making her mother proud that she was doing something she finally loved.
