  1. The whole leaderboard thing comes down to perspective. Some people are much more personally involved with the topic only if they have been the victim of serious abuse/harassment. It is impossible for people who haven't been a victim of abuse/harassment to put themselves in the shoes of a victim as it is something that is extremely personal to them, sometimes impossible to fully understand how these things affect yourself, and varies on a case by case basis.

  3. Arguing about this sort of thing on twitter is a terrible idea whatever camp you're in, the lack of characters leads to emotional responses and context being lost in abbreviation, if people want to have a sensible discussion about such a sensitive topic a face to face or voice chat is far superior and almost necessary in my opinion.

  5. I could write here what I think should be done and I have plenty of ideas but I honestly don't think it's my place or anyone elses for that matter to decide how this should be handled. The only people who truly understand how the times of "x" being on a leaderboard could affect a victim is the victim themselves. SO if I can say anything I will just say that these victims need to have the biggest say in what happens, some may be completely indifferent, some may be troubled even by thinking about that person, it's all extremely subjective and therefore must be treated as such.
